  • Trouble with the workshop

Hello, I would like to share my suffering with you… Last week I had an appointment because of the convertible service action. Thursday early in the morning the car was taken away again in the evening. And look, it says in the display “theft protection defective, contact workshop”. I am already in the workshop, but the mechanics are clearly not there at 8 pm. Well, then my convertible remains a nice, sunny day in the workshop The next day I was informed that kei n Saab mechanic is there… When I asked if I would leave the car standing for the weekend I almost freaked out… Of course I picked up the car… On Monday I was then called by the mechanic, he wanted to make an appointment for someone from Saab Austria to look at my cover. Interestingly, he was not notified of my problem… On Thursday it was time to visit the cover, the cable of the rear window heating was replaced (the roof mechanics The problem with theft protection was not solved. A new call, the request that I leave the car still another day. Well, I got a replacement car, it hurts to drive a Meriva at sunny 28 degrees, but OK… Friday afternoon, the master calls again. Error code says, no connection to the siren. The lines were checked, the control unit got 2 different software versions, the problem is t still there. The click of the front axle was not fixed either, wrong parts were delivered. So I will have to drive again to the workshop anyway, then they will continue to look for what is going on with the anti-theft protection. Well, what can you do. I picked up the car, immediately in the underground garage opened the cover and drove home. Car parked, roof closed, but a loud bang didn’t allow anything good to guess… The locking hacks sit a couple of centimeters too far after on the right, the left hacking meets exactly the anchoring instead of 3-4 cm left of it. When the car is locked, you can also see how the roof is pressed to the left. Now I have to call the workshop again I am a quite tolerant and quiet person, as long as the car is driving I am satisfied. But slowly but surely my patience is also over… Disappointed greetings, Toni

  • Consumption 1.8 t with deer, experience values ??

Hello together, I had the pleasure today to drive the brainwashed 1.8t. Nigelnagelnew and therefore carefully I drove the car (max. 4000 tours). What shocked me was the average consumption of 12.5 liters (I drove 50 % city, 25 % highway and 25% highway and that is gentle and careful). Is there already experience values here from you ??? Is the consumption normal ? My dealer promised me high and holy that he would be driven around the 10 liters. Well, in itself I believe Him, but the beziner is standing on the farm and I could have that on Friday, the diesel (as an alternative in consideration) should be ordered. With 10 liters I can live, with 12.5 definitively not. I am grateful for fast information serh, since tomorrow a decision should be made. Bye Newbie

hello, carry me with the thought to increase my v6 turbo to 275 ps. who of you already owns such a deer. who has driven that already. is the hish better from the sound than the normal v6 if you make the step 1 or I need a exhaust system to do so. how is the v6 increased to the deer? does this only run via a software update? so without hardware changes like bigger coolers and so. can my local saab dealer or must the vehicle after st. galle n? do you have to report the increase in the performance of the insurance? hope you have some good infos. thank you

  • More questions!

Hello, after the question about the Aero front spoiler still a few questions that interest me in general: 1. Hirsch-Aluleiste: We like the Hirsch passenger bar in Aluoptik (MY before 07) but not so the rest of the package means leather fittings and pedals (there will probably be 99% different opinion). According to our Saab dealer (yes exactly the one a few weeks before) there is not the bar individually, but one can expand the original black bar and let it paint silver. A At that time I found a Saab part number for the bar alone and at Elkparts there was this bar for approx. 130 euros. But now no longer available at Elkparts. Does someone have detailed information here. Is the information from the dealer? How can I get the bar cheaply silver? 2. Exhaust Vorab: Please don’t hit! Without wanting to name names there is someone in my tighter two-member family who likes the Aero exhaust of the 2.8T (double tube left and right). To upgrade to the “old” Aero to the exhaust system of the new one? Costs incl. installation? 3. New steering wheel Also this family member Can you retrofit the new Aero steering wheel (in “aircraft optics”? Costs incl. installation?

  • 1.9 TiD Hirschtunning

Hello everyone, had my brainwashed 9-3 SC 1,9TiD on the dynamometer recently. Unfortunately only 164,2 hp (according to EEC) came out. The power drops at approx.3800 rpm from 164,2 hp to 158 hp and rises from approx.4000 rpm again to approx.163 hp and falls at approx.4300 rpm (which is also normal). So you notice the deer already but why come there only 164,2 hp over there. Oh yes mine has an automatic and there is a torque of 350 NM at Hirsch (handshift 370 NM), because However, I have a torque of 367.7NM at 2255 rpm. Perhaps one of you knows some advice. Maybe there is a difference between automatic and manual circuitry with the chip and I have the one for the hand circuit. I have addressed my dealer, who has now sent the expression from the performance test to Hirsch and is in contact with you. As soon as I hear something from my dealer I will let you know. Thank you in advance. Greetings from the Allgäu Babis

  • Rumors, rumors, rumors

The rumors seem to be condensing that the 9-3 is already being revised to MY 2007. If I understand it correctly, it should have some elements of the Aero X and optional AWD, although it is based on the so-called Epsilon platform. You know English, you can see here:http://www.trollhattansaab.net/archives/2006/10/saab_93_reskin.htmlhttp://www.trollhattansaab.net I can’t take over guarantee, but the site makes me at least one r really trustworthy impression …

  • Bleaching of plastic strips

Hello together, I think the topic has been dealt with more often here, but I find nothing in the search function After the heavy rain showers in August and last Saturday on our Saab the outer strips, door handles and the recordings of the antennas are quite out of print (no, is no polish or the like). Of course is quite annoying after 1.5 years. With other manufacturers they stay up to 30 years black. I also have no desire to treat the groins constantly with mediums. Since the factory guarantee is still running, I would like to have it replaced on guarantee. Are there any problems, what are the experiences with the dealers?

  • Interior equipment Audio/communication MY 07/08

Since my previous deer is unfortunately dead, I am busy with the new purchase of a 9.3 (but also has fun). I stumble current about the data about the CD – player. In my MY05 I had a great 6 – fold changer. Obviously there is no longer that!? Did this actually fall victim to a space problem when integrating the SID into the Navi – main panel? Furthermore, I wonder how the Navi can be used like this (e.g. if it is now half-way nudged) How can the rotary switches for the automatic climate control be operated? Can the temperature presetting be reasonably read off or is it the Spar variant? I also have understanding problems with the topic telephone. My MY 05 had a box – 2nd card in the trunk and finished. OK – the operation was somewhat antiquated but I could actually communicate quite well accommodating and via the GSM antenna. If I had an ä ä ä ä I would like to have some use, then I probably need a mobile phone with Bluetooth and, if my mobile phone is suitable, an adapter for the GSM – antenna. That sounds like incompatibility and tinkering…. Can someone calm me down, or enlighten me…(it would be very awesome if someone already knew about the MY 08 regarding the listed points)

  • Winter = a gnarling landing gear?

If I drive over a floor shaft, drive up into the garage etc., and the landing gear dives, then crunches (or squish like a dull one) it in the area of the front axle. Is there anyone else with this problem or who has had this noise fixed? If so, what can it be? The shock absorbers? Does this work on guarantee or culant? Would you like to inform me before I go to the forge and not let me eat like a dip. Ha t Dr. Kater a piece of advice? Thank you in advance. Greetings from Vienna
