  • Pride comes before the fall

Hello SAAB municipality, after the 4th Saab 9000 & 9-5 I will say goodbye to the brand. I asked the Saab dealer in Saarbrücken for 9-3 Kombi 180 Ps, with the request for payment of my 9-5th answer of the seller 4000 € without having seen the vehicle. I told him that I am not a schoolboy, to that he offered max. 5000 € With such salesmen SAAB does not have to be surprised if the brand in Germany times 1700 pieces are admitted per year. comes before the case SAAB should train your staff if you want to play in the premium world. That was it for me Fabrice

  • Change from SAAB to MB

Only a short note ! Owners of a SAAB 9-3 sports combi 1.9 tid Hirsch Bj 12/2006 and wanted to switch to the new (Facelift) model SAAB 9-3 sports combi 1.9 TTID with the help of our dealer during the year. However, since this SAAB dealer from Bad Tölz absolutely refused to buy another business, the way of refusing to do so is a “glossy example” of service-wounds or anti-women in the car purchase in Germany. MB C 220 CDI AMG T-Model decided to make this purchase even with a team of Mercedes Benz (Pappas Group) from the aspect of customer service in TS. It is a pity that SAAB will remain a niche product if there is this niche for a long time ! The product SAAB is highly recommended from our point of view and we were also quite willing to remain true to the brand SAAB ! However, that SAAB dealer from Bad Tölz (60 sales/3 locations/exploitation) has us in 2007 ?!?) to flee forward. SAAB should think about your dealer structure ! We hope – that we are an isolated one ! Best regards to the marketing department of SAAB ! “mouth to mouth advertising – remains and is the BEST advertising ” .

  • Finally, the HIRSCH

After almost two months of waiting, my 1.9 TiD now finally has the deer under the hood. The delay came about because Hirsch has problems to deliver the devices for the online programming of the ECUs to the Saab houses. Could be due to the massive advertising that is being done for Hirsch-Tuning. That’s why the Saab man of my trust decided to send the control part to Switzerland to have it reprogrammed there. And it was actually My first impression – on the outside the car has changed nothing … *g* … but inside. But if you now use the accelerator beyond 2000 rpm a little more forcefully, then the bear steps. Unfortunately I have not yet been able to drive it out (is still coming), but the acceleration has increased considerably. On the highway it is no longer necessary to switch at 120 to accelerate down into the 5th. You also have a pleasant pressure in the 6th to 200. In the second and third gears, I prefer not to go through full – out of fear for traction and the wear parts. Now I am looking forward to the first longer motorway ride. By the way, the car had about 20,000 km down at the time of the conversion.

  • Buy new Saab 9-3 SportCombi! Tips from you!

Hello, I am currently thinking of buying a new car. I have taken into consideration the new BMW 320d touring and the Saab 9-3 SportCombi. I like the Saab more visually and in general I have always had a preference for Swedish cars. For the 3s speak probably more agile engine and the rear wheel drive. Nevertheless, I once equipped a SportCombi as I would order it: Saab 9-3 SportCombi 1.9 TiD 110 kW Linear sapphire blue metallic /Leather sliver grey – Standard package (foot mats, beverage holder, armrest) – Functional package (tempomat, on-board computer, climate control) – Classic package (exterior covers in car color, fog lights, walnut wood black, leather cushions, seat heating, light alloy wheels) – Bi-Xenon headlights – Preparation for hands-free equipment – Saab Infotainment 300 – 6x CD changer – Comfort control – Rain sensor – roof railing, black In my opinion a quite neat equipment. I have recently bought the Aldi mobile navigation system for the motorcycle, which I can take with me if necessary. Now my question: What do you think of the color? I have only seen this color in the configurator/prospect, but never live. Can I imagine, however, that the color in conjunction with the light metal wheels looks quite chic. Silver or black come for m What do you think about the engine? Just recently I drove the SportCombi Probe, but with the 122 hp petrol engine. How is the 6-speed automatic? Since I drive about 15,000 km a year and can hardly do without the drive comfort of a diesel, for me actually only the TiD is in question. I am still waiting until I can drive the Diesel Probe (my dealer on site has at the moment only the 120 hp diesel in stock) and will then probably decide. D he chances for Saab compared to the BMW are not bad – not least for financial reasons. I would be pleased to hear from you recommendations and experiences. Greetings, Michael

  • Interior design in Saab 9-3

Hi, I’m driving an Audi A3 (TDI) at the moment and would like to switch to Saab, as I like the 9-3 SC visually extremely and also its driving behavior. I am therefore interested in the 1.9 TiD. All the discussions about funny noises in the interior make me a bit nervous now. When I was last days at the Saab dealer near me (Saab center HD), I also found the dashboard a bit cheap. It feels like hard plastic and also the glove compartment looks cheap and closes badly. Now I almost think I should stay with Audi. What do you think about the materials and the quality in the interior of the 9-3? Best regards, Robarb

  • Question 2: Luggage compartment cover with 9.3

Hello, and another question: the boot cover of my car (SAAB 9.3 Aero Convertible) is something – carefully spoken – difficult. Say: you have to pack with courage to open the thing. And vice versa, if you want to close it, you have to pop the part into the lock with two hands, as tight as you can. Otherwise you are driven out of the car through the small warning lamp in the dashboard. What do you do? Oil Can? ;-)LLI

  • Successor type for Saab 9-3 YS3F searched

Moin people, I need some good advice. My 9-3 diesel has come into the years, rust on both sides in the rear wheel pits and the km stand around the 330 thousand…. Fortunately, there was no disturbance in the last 100tKm. Now I am looking sooner or later for a successor, which should meet the following conditions. I expect comfortable seats, reliability, high mileage, trouble-free, economical, all-weather and long-distance suitable: time I commute weekly 2×570 km, Dresden-Bonn. Right now I have Subaru-Lagacy and Honda-Accord in my sights. Is there a For, Against, or a different opinion? VG Jörn . PS. Ups, there is another thread “allg. Kaufberatung”. Hope double posting is not so bad….
