  • Central locking programming ?

Hello, the Saab 9-5 (Bauj. 2007) of a friend locks the central lock automatically after starting the engine or after driving off. Is the function programmable ? If yes – it has to be done with the programming device ? With our Opel Vectra C this function could be activated with the key and the pressing of the locking button – is it exactly so with the 9-5 ? Thank you ! Marco

  • No more benefit

Hello, normally I’m just a hard-working reader here in the forum, but today I also have a problem. I am enthusiastic owner of a 9-5 SC Automatic Hirsch Performance (EZ 10/2007, 48000 km). Had the opportunity yesterday again and wanted to give the deer the spores…… Unfortunately the deer didn’t want to do so. So far I was used to the fact that the vehicle turns into the 5th gear at full acceleration at 225 km/h, continues full to 240 km/h and then slightly slower Turbo indicator was until then always in the middle in the red area. Yesterday from 200km/h only little of it could be felt, from 220km/h there was practically no acceleration. Turbo indicator up to 200km/h middle red area, after that only to the red area. In normal operation I have so far not been able to detect any change to the vehicle, the vehicle is driven mainly in urban traffic, daily way to the job 13km, little stop and go. Sleep the horse n over time if they are not constantly demanded? Does anyone have any idea where the problem might lie? Thanks for your answers. kles

  • Saab workshop costs

Hej, there I had written the other day, which on my 3.0 was an oil pipe leaking to the turbo. Off to Saab and asked what that could cost. One wanted to write a “cost-paying” order directly to the control, then I distanced myself from it all. In the parking lot of the AH I nevertheless got into the conversation with the master who then looked “for free” and confirmed my suspicion. Sealing set complete approx. 50.- € plus LABOUR ~ 400.- € ! = ~ 450.- € I have this work now i In a small free workshop (Bosch). Defective O-ring of the oil pressure line 3.-€ (in the engine repairer next door brought), wages 135.-€ = 138.-€ total!!!!! Long live the fine difference. I like Saab, it is also a pity that some dealers of the brand are insolvent or still become, but at 312.-€ price difference I am closest to myself. LG Rodatina car runs, everything is tight and my world is OK.

  • Many small problems

Hello to Alle, I’m new here and recently proud owner of a Saab 9-5 2.3 Turbo from 98. Recently some minor problems have accumulated which I would like to solve with your help! – Heating Driver side: Does not work; It only comes cold air. Passenger side gets really warm. What can this be? – License plate lighting: These already did not work when buying the vehicle. Birnchen changed, unfortunately the license plate remains unlit. ngplan für Sicherungen? – Tacholeuchtung: Up to 140 the tacho shines wonderfully, the pear under it is unfortunately dead. How best to get to the pear? How is the amarture board removed without damaging the hozbarten? – Seat heating driver side. Does not work either. Replace seat cushions or rather check tension? If these defects are fixed I am really happy with my Saab. Hopefully not by thousands of Euros poorer…. The Dutchman who lives in Germany and drives a Swedish car… 🙂

  • Question on the light

Moin and a Happy New Year to all of you! My son has shown me a video with a Saab 9000 and the follow me home light, which concerns when closing up. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2JUB6sepIU&feature=related) Is this really like this or was it made around there. At 9-5 you couldn’t do something like this, could you? Greeting saabfan94

  • Fiat Motor ???

Hej, hej, I’m new here as a member, but before I bought my really nice and especially comfortable 9 5 from 10/ 2006 with 1,9 TiD 150 hp, green badge and 100000 km 6 months ago all the relevant information for me could pull out of here. Thanks for that first. So it was important for me to buy among other things that the typical weak point of this engine (droll valve ) was changed in August 09 still on guarantee. So far, so good. Until then I thought that I by the way, I could live very well with an Opel engine – but when I had to replace an injection nozzle last week, it was rather unpleasant for me to know that certain sealing rings did not have to be ordered from Opel, but from FIAT (! ). How for heaven’s sake it came to this symbiosis. Because who reads car newspapers fairly regularly, knows that Fiat invented the common rail technology, but otherwise with no brand (Fiat, A) lfa Romeo, Lancia ) is not characterized by special quality, nor by longevity. My 9 5 now has 116000 km down and I had eig. before to drive and maintain it eternally (possibly even to install a heater, etc. …). My motivation to “marry” this (geile :/ ) car has fallen quite considerably with a Fiat engine. If I pay Saab, I at least want Opel, but in no case Fiat. Does anyone know which important assemblies still of a cooperation spa My desire for such surprises has been extremely manageable since this weekend. Thank you and all a beautiful pre-Christmas time Mathias

  • Finally a Saab! 9-5 Aero MY2004 – And already something broken?

Good evening forum! Would like to thank me for the great tips and experiences that this forum has given me in recent weeks and have now finally led to my purchase today: Saab 9-5 Turbo Aero 2.3 sports combi MY2004 ( the link won’t go long anymore: http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=l3hzjl1ychaj ) KM 122,000 km First registration:11/2003 Power: 184 kW (250 hp) HU test: 08/2012 Outer colour: Silver Metallic 8 times matured on aluminium Has me gl I was not really convinced on the way back in today’s weather conditions and I was brought home safely – bombastic road position – giving gas was of course not really inside. First drop of wormwood: Unfortunately earlier the “engine” lamp started to light up, I am pretty sure that this was not the case with the test drive yet – engine runs however quite normal, hope not anything bad. Will the seller anyway step on the fingers, because the cruiser praised in the advertisement at all not at all available! I didn’t notice in my happiness when driving However, the joy over the car prevails – everything is top, super cared for etc. Thanks again! And maybe someone can take the fear of the engine damage away from me immediately?

  • Daylight halogens?

Moin, I was recently told that the 9-5 day-dimmed light has front. I can’t really imagine it, but would be great. Has anyone else heard about it? At the moment I don’t see any difference, but would be a great facility. Greeting saabfan94

  • Small tip: Xenon light range regulation

Hello, dear forum, would like to share my findings with you So, after I had the car back from customer service last week, a mistake was quickly made on Saturday: automatic light range control defective. (It’s worth noting that the Xenon headlights themselves have kept their level and not lowered…) After various researches in swed.- and English-speaking forums, I came up with the following tip: Apparently it’s almost always the front sensor, the mucken (Sits at the front right of the auxiliary frame, good to see when you swing the wheel to the right.) Something grease the turning points and maintain the plug with WD40. Done. (New price otherwise probably around 80 Euro) Works again 1a. I suspect that lifting on the lifting platform was causal. Greeting, Jan900

  • Gear conversion Troll E

Hello together, I have a question where maybe someone can help me further: I’m about to buy a Saab 9-5 2.3 Troll E (year 2000, 110’000km, 250 hp). Unfortunately, the vehicle has an automatic transmission… Finding a hand-operated model seems almost impossible, so I wanted to ask if anyone has experience in converting vending machines into hand-operated vehicles, if this is recommended at all and maybe also how high the Kos Do you have a Troll E with the 4-stage automatic? If so, how does it go about sport and agility and so on? Thank you for your help Greetings to Emperor Lu
