  • What does the congregation say about this Saab 9-5 2,3t

Hello and good day, first ma a big praise to a really good forum 🙂 I play with the thought to buy me a Saab 9-5 2,3t linear with the following data: First registration: 06/2001 Kilometer level: 110,000 km Fuel: Petrol Power: 136/185 (kW/PS) Gear type: Automatic Price: 5990 € The car is according to dealer check booklet maintained and is optically also in a good condition. What do I have to pay attention to or should I rather leave my fingers completely away from it??? and the oil mud story… And according to the data (which I collected from the forum 🙂 , he would still have to fall into it (the radiator grill is still completely chromed). Are there any other defects that are not immediately noticeable? Thanks already in the foreground Dat Oelleken

  • And where’s the most car for the money?

I mean at Saab, at least if you don’t buy a new car without any discounts. I don’t think Saab is cheap, but idR. is worth its price! Who has better proposals and which ones? Wolf24

  • 9-5 Limousine – how to open?

We have the following, somewhat embarrassing situation: On our 9-5 test vehicle (automobile supplier) the doors were converted to electrical closure, the buttons in the interior replaced by LEDs (Keyless Go System). Unfortunately, we currently have the problem that the vehicle is completely closed in the garage after a long break with a dead battery and can no longer open (simply). Of course, the operating instructions in the vehicle are also closed. This is why the following call for help: 1. Is there a way to open the trunk (limousine) by means of a key (somewhere hidden lock?) or 2. Can the bonnet be unlocked from the outside, so that we can connect a new battery? Thank you for your help – as a last resort, it will only help to break the window… TF

  • Shelf life 2,3 t

Hello Denny, as I took your answer on my armature extension question, you have the same model as me, just 100,000 km more mileage. If it doesn’t bother you too much, I would be interested (perhaps others in the forum too), if there were no / few / many disturbances outside of the rule maintenance and if so, which. I’m trying to get a picture of whether the things that happened to me (I’ve never stood up..) in the frame or about them. (Overall, he doesn’t seem to be as robust in the field of “side technology” as my last 9000er) If you don’t want to deal with it in the forum, as PN Gruß Jazzer2004 since 1979 SAAB again and again

  • Experiences to 9-5 3.0 Gasoline sought

Hello together, I intend to buy a Saab 9-5 3.0 petrol station wagon. Built 12/99; 111,000 km, TÜV-AU until 03/09. The equipment is almost complete, the purchase price should be about 10,000 euros. Who has been able to gain experience with this vehicle and especially with this engine? What do I have to pay attention to when buying? Which repairs are on and how expensive are they? etc. etc? Thank you for your efforts.

  • Summer slats

I’m so slow to get new summer tires. Deer rims: 18″ 225/40s, deer complete. Had already the Bridgestone, Pirelli-Zero-Rosso (or so similar) and the Conti. Remind me of a thread a year or two ago, which unfortunately I can’t find any more. I think it was our well-appreciated Mod Philipp the Yokohama Schlappen for his Viggen quite well. I assume that I am not quite wrong. So Philipp, You take Yoko ??? for a few flot the laps on the ring and for the ride to the ring Yoko ?X?X?. Well, I don’t want to drive the race necessarily, so that I am also interested in the economy. Most of the time my flaps were a bit worn out at about 20000 km. Sure, that high-speed tyres are more grip-oriented and therefore the lifespan is rather lower, but think that the lifespan should be a little longer. I took the Yokohama brochures with me in Geneva, but first I don’t know which tire And if I was too stupid to find the old thread, sorry, I’m sure they’ll be smart. Until then, a link or clue where to find the thread is not bad. Greeting and beautiful WE Wolf24

  • What to do 9-5 1.6TDI fall

I switched from 2.5 TDI Omega to a Saab 9-5 1.6 TiD. I told the dealer what I need: After 10h work, 600km drive, get out and ask “What do I do with the evening that has started?”. So fast, quiet, comfortable etc. 200h/km you can hardly drive anyway. Can you help me? 1 Did I do something wrong? 2. What can I do now? Should I take a 2.5 or 3.0 – the contributions to this sound not good either…. 3. Usually there are 50,000 or more repairs My criticisms: Main point: – far too loud, from 120h/km I drive a tank -unpractically: -Regensenor must be reactivated after a motor stop -Tempomat lies stupid -Finger break -Storage in the station wagon does not allow to load it properly and still cover it with a visual protection (before evil robbers in the parking garage…) and where with the part, if I do not load the car in front of the garage? -Storage area at the front for Krimskrams is far too small or not there at all – the Nav i is completely stupid – according to scale 4 no more TMC messages – if I leave Lake Constance, I want to be able to drive via Stuttgart or Nuremberg but no traffic messages are displayed! -The windscreen wipers lubricate themselves – yes there is only water and forest protection in it…;-) -the ashtray is not illuminated -wanted to become a non-smoker anyway, sat everything too with the ashes -the doors have no lighting -the driver’s seat doesn’t get me far enough na ch to put back mileage p.a. 60,000, car is leased on 3 years. What experiences are there? Look forward to answers. Thank you very much.

  • 3.0 TiD engine damage, model 2005

Hello Saabprofis, after I had bought a slightly used, beautiful Saab 9.5, 3.0 TiD Sportcombi, model 2005 I still broke the engine in the factory warranty period (2 years) at approx. 100,000 km. Symptoms – slowed down, smelled after water, rear cylinder bench no more compression. If I look through the posts so clearly this is a running bushing thing. Question: can Saab wind out there, if sometimes the service clearly covers (i.e. approx. 12,000 km) w urde? Is Saab Kulant with the known problem? Question: are court rulings known (engine damage against Saab or dealer) to sue the culant or guarantee because of this known design error? I do not seem to be the first with engine damage? Which numbers do the judgments have? Thanks for the support.
