    Good morning! For a long time I already wish to drive a Saab and I am finally in the process of finding something neat to look for! At the same time an interesting offer for me fell into my hands: Saab 9-5 2.0t SE “Sportkombi”, automatic year 2000, only nearly 40,000km run I have already read a little basic knowledge etc. but I would still like to know what I have to pay attention to and if there are any special problems and of course whether the price ok ay is which I will not betray for logical reasons 😉 For known reasons already have the problem engine 3.0 Tid and because of the alleged undermotorization of the 2.2 TiD from the diesel engines said goodbye!   • Check Engine P1230 throttle valve

    Hello members, I’ve already searched various forums for the error message P1230 and received many hints. Unfortunately, everything seems to be wrong with me. My Saab starts normal only idle speed is lower than usual and it goes out again if I don’t give gas. It accelerates normally and does not jerk. Vmax over 100km/h are no problem and accelerator pedal is no different than usual (note on Boudenzugbetrieb). Walbro High-performance gasoline pump 255 LPH Especially the passage from 3000 rpm to the limiter has improved enormously. Thanks to the thicker intake tube, the sound in the upper speed range is even more sporty Lt. . Tech 2 all values in the green area. I am not the friend of conjectures, but I guess there should be a good 10 HP extra power inside. A performance measurement soon it will show (hopefully). Now only the sport exhaust manifold of MapTun Performance, with the more thinner electric fan, (should bring good 15 HP more) is planned. But then is really closing with tuning.   • Saab 9.5 3.0 TiD jerks in cold condition at approx. 2300 rpm

    Hello, I have the following problem with my Saab 9.5 3.0 TiD Built 2003, 150000 km, 5-speed manual transmission: This has been jerking since last week in cold condition at approx. 2000-2500 rpm. The gear does not matter. Whether it has something to do with the acceleration I could not really notice. I describe this now as exactly as possible (as I personally perceive the changes): 1. When I turn the ignition key it feels like the car is half a second län 2. As soon as I started it starts to jerk at about 2300 rpm as described above. It feels like the ESP is activated. 3. It does this in all 5 gears, but always only at approx. 2300 rpm in the corresponding gear. 4. So far, I have noticed this especially with climbs, since I have to drive slightly uphill on the way to work in the morning, but also on a straight track. 5. As soon as the engine gets warmer, I have to start starting. 6. Overall I have the problem for 6 days. I this time the problem occurred on 4 days, i.e. irregular. I could not find an accumulation so far. Unfortunately, the Saab dealer himself could not find anything at several error readings, but suspects that it is about units of the injection pump (price incl. working time 1400 Euro !!!). Since I understand relatively little of cars, but do not want to pay 1400 Euro for assumptions u m then 2 weeks later to have the same problem again, I ask you for help or for tips what I can do.

What about the fault susceptibility. Do I get a rental car while the service work is done? My current AUDI dealer is only 800m away from the company and that is good for me during the many unplanned stays. All acquaintances who have or had swarmed from their vehicles. about 9.3 models.
