  • External temperature display CC ?

Hello community, as you know for sure, can the EDO display the temperature of the outside when you press the info button. My question now is whether you can easily retrofit the feeler and get it done? Or is that associated with a lot of Klimbim? Greeting, 9000i 16

  • Noise/control chain

Hello, I’m thinking about having the control chain replaced in a preventative way. My 9ooo CS (MJ 1992, 143 kw, switch) now has 188.00 km on the clock. The seller could not say anything about the history. Was with the price but also ok… Oil change has been made anyway in the summer. The car is very well maintained and has no rust (garage car?). So I can hope that oil change has been made regularly. (Turbo pulls wonderful, the initial problem with TCS was quickly fixed…) I w It’s hard to describe: but how does the engine sound if the control chain wants to be changed? I would describe the somewhat noticeable noise in idle mode as slightly nailing (after the cold start there are first nice speed fluctuations to the top, which then settle down to just under 1oo u/min). After reading this thread, I still didn’t realize what it would cost: 3oo Euro would be ok, 2.5oo definitely not. In Berlin I would use this as a tool. either to Pink. or to Bischoff. If someone else has a tip here, like per pn. And another small question: since the temperature indicator was never middle, I replaced the thermostat with a new one. The problem remains: even after a longer drive, the pointer remains stuck in the lower third and goes only briefly towards the middle. However, the consumption seems to be ok 12.3 liters according to BC after partly fast highway and short city traffic in winter. Many, thank you already! R.

  • Power supply Gasoline pump Saab 9000 (year 94)

Hello everybody, my Saab makes Mucken and the factory saddle doesn’t get any further. Every few days the car doesn’t jump on. Battery is full, starter goes off normally. After 10-12 hours or sometimes even a few days it starts as if nothing had happened. Every time in the workshop the Saab loads normally. According to the workshop, the alarm system only goes on the starter and not the pump. They already checked that. Today it doesn’t run again. The fuse is ok. But the test lamp shows that ss there is no voltage on the fuse terminal when starting. I have now just placed the 12 volts on the fuse terminal of the pump from another fuse. And look, I could hear the pump and the car has then started without any problems! My question is now from where does the cable come from to the fuse? Because there must be the error!? Must be the fuse with running motor duration plus or only if there is not enough pressure in the system? Is there a Schematic for pump control? Thank you from the now slightly unnerved Saab driver. Greetings Alen

  • Martens and 9000s

Does anyone have experience how to keep martens successfully at a distance? Good talk? Voodoo? Put a photo of Katzenberger in the engine room? Self-shot system? Rather electric shockers or mesh wire fence? Here it is written that electric shockers are probably not as effective as a mesh wire fence. – The 9000 has many cavities … yet try and cover with mesh wire fence? Or does this risk new problems? Supposedly enough it suffices as a precaution / installation measure, the batter iepole to cover … every tip is welcome! My eater … um … MyGurke

  • Automatic transmission Problems with Saab9000 CDE Bj.95 108Kw

Hello have a problem with my automatic transmission, although we changed the driver’s disc, because the automatic transmission at least gave more and more noise, so we have built a new driver’s disc.# But after about 3 weeks after the unpleasant noise was gone, the noise came back and this time much louder and not only in the standing but also while driving, it became so loud that everyone turned around on the road, so my car mechanic has the Automa The driver’s disc has now got quite a lot of grooves, there is nothing striking about the gearbox itself, so no chips or otherwise what. does the whole possibly indicate that it is a material error from the driver’s disc or is it due to the automatic transmission itself? Who can help me? Greeting Helmut

  • Electrical damage to the 9000 CS – what to do?

Hello guys, I have a 9000 CS with electrical damage after the battery was charged incorrectly (yes, unfortunately, but I didn’t know that you can do it yet). The starter is probably through and nothing happens at the moment when you connect a battery. Since I have just had the coupling remade for 700 ticks, the transmission is just over and the engine is replaced some time ago, after the previous one has said goodbye than at 190 of the 5 gear tsc The car is in Hanover. Maybe someone would like to screw the part. I would probably also hand over the car. Lg to everyone, Hans

  • I need HILIFE

I bought a used Saab 9000 i. I was told that the clutch had to be replaced in a short time. During the test drive I noticed that the car was badly dressed, as the salesman already said. So I drove towards home and with a longer mountain cup I hardly made any progress. I was then a bit unnoticed (Wutanfall 2 class) …. first gear in and full throttle… all of a sudden he pulled off. I thought well, if the clutch now packs, I can drive home. He also had to switch himself almost normal. Only when driving I had as good as no game, but it went. Almost 80 km further on he didn’t pull anymore. No matter which gear I put in, whether with or without domes, it no longer packs and the car does not move any cm. I can’t imagine that the disc is down, because it packed, so something else must be defective. I am not a mechanic and unfortunately I don’t have the finances for an expensive workshop, so I have to help myself. I urgently need tips, as I can fix it.

  • Despair in Argentina

Hello, after having read a lot here in the last few days, I hope you can help me. I bought a Saab 9000 cde, BJ 93, Motor 234L, turbo, automatic, in the hope that the local mechanics would not have puffed around too much in it. Hope trog, could pick up a friend in Buenos Aires, but again at home in Mendoza the car did not want to. As it turns out, they have “replaced” the whole ignition system, I now need the ignition cassette and the ignition coil, in the hope that I will run the car again. I would have already ordered the Internet, but I am missing the key numbers and I am absolutely lay. Is now the red or black casette in, what must I keep in mind? Hope you will remember something. Thanks already in advance Yvonne
