Hello together, in my 9000 CSE Anni. Built 98 I am unfortunately very dissatisfied with the seat height and the bad view of the dashboard or the instruments…! When I first entered my Saab, I was very surprised that the steering wheel can NOT be pushed in and out of the height, but only … well, it is common with other brands, but unfortunately not with Saab – unfortunately you can’t do anything… If I now have the seat (manual) with the lift The worst thing, however, is that I can’t quite see the upper parts of the fittings through the steering wheel! I have to say that the steering wheel is fully extended (if it’s all in, it gets even further down on the thighs and the view of the fittings gets even worse!) and I sit relatively upright and the backrest is reasonably steep. I “m mutilated or lying” a I learned this upright driver position during various driving safety trainings and got the indestructible advantages explained – but that’s another thing… Oh yes, before there are any conjectures regarding my physique: I am relatively normal 1.85m tall, slim and have no thick thighs… I would like to emphasize here once again that I am satisfied with my Troll otherwise SUPER, only the sitting position I feel as n Is it very comfortable or successful! Does none of the “normal” large 9000 riders have the same problem as me? Do you all have an unrestricted view of the instruments or is anything wrong with my seat? Defected motor antenna
Hi, everybody, yesterday it was only clacking in the trunk and the antenna didn’t move by any reason. How do I get to the motor antenna (left back), has someone already repaired the part? Greetings Georg Is a 95er 9000 2.0 suction cup.

Luggage compartment lid clatters…?!?
Hello, I’ve been “knocking” from the back of my 98 Anni CSE for some time when I’m driving over floor waves. I can rule out the shock absorbers, they’re new. First I suspected the rear shelf that it’s bouncing on floor waves. Out of it, but still clapping! Then I cleared out the whole trunk with the tool on the right, also no success. Now I suspect the whole tailgate! I left it open once, drove it and saw The sound was gone! I then examined the lock, but all the screws are fixed. However, if the lid is closed and I pull it up and down, it really seems to be clapping somewhere in the lock area… If there is a known problem, you have had it before and what can I do about it? Maybe there’s a very simple trick that I can use to eliminate the annoying flapper, because it’s really annoying during the ride… Thanks for your help. e Help and Greetings, Jens

Loud engine drowsing at cold start and when starting in front of traffic lights

Unround run
Hello Saabisti for some time now, and I think it’s getting worse, I have a clearly uneven run when starting, especially if there is more load (e.g. on gradients). Feels like there are several possibilities: engine or drive? shaft or bearing? Which one? (at the front left) How can I narrow down and determine the error here? It’s striking that when taking the gas, the rough run is gone again. I.e. when the gas is running differently according to the driving situation more or less less strong, when rolling away. The latter probably excludes wheel bearings. My screwdriver has seen a small crack in the axle cuff and thinks that this goes away by re-greasing (new cuff -is clear)? Hello together. I have some questions about MY 91: 1. Have you heard claims that MY 91 have weak chains and gears! Is this true? 2. Do you all have the original air filters or is there something better? 3. Does it come to which ignition box I use? (have any of MY 93 and MY 94) Are there any differences? 4. There was once a rear panel to MY 91 (picture) does someone else have one that you can buy?(of course, quite and not so faded! 5. What needs all around the world? Is it useful to have a cooling fan 2 Stufig? ( Relay power station in engine compartment F ) Is it useful to have it on board? 6. Unfortunately, my TCS has on board. Would there still have (from one I battles) a complete device without TCS. How much work is there such a conversion? Does it make sense? What has to be changed? 7. Drive my 2.3t since 80tkm with Hirschtuning (km-Stand: 230tkm). Recently there was a power drop. However, the machine continued to run calmly and evenly. One day later, after intensive acceleration, the car became very restless when taking the gas, the engine almost wanted to go off. After stopping I had to detect smoke clouds from the exhaust. Through this forum sensitized, I towed the car into the workshop. Diagnosis: Pressure hose dropped. The same thing happened with his A6 turbodiesel. The fitting of the hose cost him 40€ in the workshop. Question about 9000er Kauf
Servus people, I would like to purchase a Saab 9000 se soon and have a few questions. Wind noise
9000 -2,3 219 tkm so from 120 km/h it gets loud. Can it be that after 15 years the door rubbers are not sufficiently dense anymore? it is clearly loud and I think it is the area driver door. I would rule out sliding roof. Who has similar experience? Can one simply replace the seals? Expensive? Or is the sound “innate”?
