Hello experts, with standing vehicle in idle I feel for some time quite strong vibrations in the steering wheel and also in the interior. My CS Ecopower, 2.3 t, 125 kW has run 210,000 km. Idle is stable at approx. 850 rpm. When I turn the engine up from approx. 1500 rpm everything is quiet. Vibrations like blown away. During the ride I feel nothing. The rubbers in the “bone” are new. Can this be located at the engine bearing at the bottom right? (can I unfortunately not see ) Below lin ks on the gearbox looks perfect. Greetings, Julefreund

Programming radio remote control SAAB 9000 CS/CSE from year 93
Hello, I bought a 9000 CS Bj. 97. Unfortunately there is only one radio remote control (radio) and it is defective. In the meantime I was able to get 2 relatively new remote controls at ebay. My problem is now the reprogramming of these remote controls on the control unit in the car. Depends on whether the car starts at all, because with the remote control also the electronic immobilizer is activated or deactivated. Has someone experience with it and can give me a relevant Thank you.

9000 doesn’t start, much checked, don’t get any further.
Hello together I still had to register again. was not in the forum for a long time. In advance driving for 21 years Saab 9000 .The current since 2009 Bj. 96 200Ps automatic I parked the car and drove a few days motorcycle, when it rained again I wanted to drive with the Saab, but it does not start. I read through the forum and checked up to now: petrol pump goes over 3.5 bar. Ignition cassette candles come on ground, also with the replacement cassette. rbelwellensensor bought and built in. fuses checked. Various plugs treated with contact spray. Known by the acquaintance passed with Tech 2 No errors, since I had the battery 3 days removed, again everything newly married WFS u.s.w. Would be happy to proceed with tips on further.

The Magical Backup No. 13
Due to the breakdown of GinTourismo in the topic “Motor doesn’t start”, I have become a bit stunned and wanted to test this with me once on the weekend. If the fuse No. 13 is defective or just pulled, then the instrument cluster will not work, the starter has turned but the engine will not start. The question now WHY?? Unfortunately, the operating instructions also do not give any indication that the engine will not start with a defect on this fuse. SAAB specialists already lead to slight headaches, although it is only a 10A fuse that is quickly exchanged. Unfortunately, this test also had another unpleasant side effect. Since the EDU could not be used by the pulled fuse and thus also not the warning lamp for the airbag, unfortunately another error was set in the SRS control unit. Does anyone know an elegant way to reset this SRS error without the costly help of a specialist workshop?

Bad start due to lack of contact pressure
A question to all still active 9000 drivers. For some time now the car does not jump immediately after longer service life, i.e. also overnight, but only after a few seconds. Presumably that the check valve does not remain completely tight anymore and the necessary pressure is built up by the pump. Now my question to you, how can you proceed here with a practical solution without demolishing the connections to the pump. How about, for example, an additional in di e line used additional check valve that can be replaced more easily in case of error. However, I leave it that way if necessary, but would like to drive the car for the next 4 years. VG rpe 9000

Flasher right side failed
Hello SAAB friends It’s about a CSE BJ 97 We’re on vacation right now and since this morning the complete right turn signal side no longer goes. But only if I want to flash over the steering stick switch to the right. When opening with the FB all lights and also the warning flashing system goes, so the pears are already excluded as a mistake. To my knowledge only the steering stick switch or the relay remains. rage and how can I fix the error temporarily until we are back home and then install new parts? Greeting rpe 9000

ACC temperature control totally spins
On my 97s I still have a problem with the regulation. If the outside temperatures are so below 15 degrees and I need heat, then the regulation is no problem at all. But if it is warmer outside or I drive like yesterday long distances, so longer than 1 hour and the interior or engine compartment is heated up accordingly, then the ACC cools too much down. If then I want a pleasant indoor temperature, then I have to go at least to 26 degrees so that it is less k Yesterday in the late afternoon I had an outside temperature of 15 degrees and the ACC cooled like stupid. ACC was not the solution either, because then the full 15 degrees came in from outside. So far I have already changed the following, because I can change the components between the two 9000s at any time and these parts in my second elk function easily. ACC, interior sensor, the long metal sensor in the distribution range, the engine hit for the control the flaps and the sunlight sensor on top of the dashboard. I have already changed the complete combination ACC and interior sensor between both cars, all helped nothing. I get the temperature down a bit, but not as comfortable as I am used to. Which sensors still have an influence on the regulation, because the problem always comes after a longer journey, which becomes particularly annoying on long holiday trips. Just like it is current for me, the fault must come from the vehicle itself and not from the components, since they are running in the second without interference. Perhaps there is a fault over the wire harness or or… Does any of the remaining owners have an idea? Greeting rpe 9000

Thermo switch switches late
Hello, I drive a Saab 9000 Bj.90 94kW. Last autumn I had an 82° thermostat and a new thermoswitch (how much degree I don’t know unfortunately) installed, after in the city traffic or in idle mode at the stand the temp display came quite close to the red area. Dangerous also when I drove the highway and then came into a traffic jam. Immediately the display climbed up. With the new parts however, it did not get better, except for the new phenomenon that the indication e zw. 8 and 9 o’clock back and forth (due to new thermostat). In a Saab 900 forum I have now read from a selector thermoswitch 6017.85D M22*1.5 which starts at 85°. So according to the author at 60% of the display. I would like to build something similar with my 9000er. Does anyone know if this fits into a Saab 9000 or if other providers or possibly Saab own suitable 85° thermoswitches lead. For other cars the temp display usually remains at 9 o’clock as fixed How does that explain to Saab 9000 that he is so restless? Thank you very much.

90002.3i CC and CS start-up problems
Hello, I have a CC and a CS each, both from 1991 with a 2.3L engine without turbo and with automatic transmission. Both have the same problem: the cars jerk and crawl – if the cars have stood longer (in cold weather enough also over night), then they start in the morning with unround motor run and a start on “D” is only very slow and with interruptions possible, often the engine also dies off! In the reverse the phenomenon is by far not so pronounced After a few minutes the symptoms disappear. Then I can leave immediately after 3-4 hours of rest over the day without the phenomenon again. A “Saab-Fachwerksatt” already cost me 800€ for an unsuccessful troubleshooting! LMM, throttle valve and temperature sensor as well as petrol pump were tested, everything without finding out. Who can help?

Climate compressor is stuck
Today, just before the driveway on the motorway, the engine went out together with strong smoke generation. As it turned out, the climate compressor has failed or is now fixed. It is a 96 model and there is a much smaller compressor installed than in my 97 BJ. Ok after 22 years it may fail. Even if I only had a climate maintenance done there three years ago. Now my questions to you. 1. How can I get the compressor for a Übergan If my wife is driving with it again, she doesn’t pay attention to it as I do. 2. What would you recommend, because I would like to have the air conditioning system used again: 3. I have stored a compressor of the 95er BJ here for several years, but I am not sure if it has not set itself in the meantime. 4. Is there a good address for an exchange compressor or is there otherwise a Possibility for a cost-effective exchange/maintenance?
