Hello together, my name is Chris and I have been driving a 94er 2,3 EcoTurbo (170hp) for about 2 years. Today I need your help. It’s my first Saab and my first turbo-vehicle (comes from the chrome-mercedes bearing) and I’m really fucked up, because there’s a lot different about the Swedes! đ Otherwise I really became a Saab fan in a very short time. But now to my problem: A few months ago the car started to jerk at exactly 3700 rpm. I didn’t remember so often, because I used to read about “Fuel-cut / too much charging pressure etc.”. I wanted to take care of this on occasion, but at some point the Saab ran again over 3700 and more! Since the day before yesterday I have the same phenomenon at 2000 rpm! Since this speed is reached fast, I thought first I had ignition problems and had suspected the ignition box (but my predecessor had changed some time ago). I have changed today I usually went under this speed. search to stay under 2000 and have always switched at 1900….and see, the car is driving quite normal and jerk-free. But this is not a condition, of course, just wanted to locate the source of the error here. What can I do now to solve this problem. A well-known (Kfz-Master) also wants to help me, but is not a proven Saab expert. I hope for targeted answers and look forward to your help. You have a nice evening (and don’t wait too long with the answers) , can’t always gurgle with my stick-ach in everyday traffic! ;-)) Greetings from DĂźsseldorf Chris

Navigation – What’s good?
Have you any experience of what is good and can’t make recommendations? I think of sense/advantage or quality of: – installation or portable – TMC or alternatives – manufacturer (quality, service) – map material (possibility of a door-to-door route e.g. from Germany to abroad and/or the other way around) – announcement quality (e.g. the announcement comes in time)? Ultimately, what is involved is to be able to use what is happening in my Saab, so I once allowed myself the question here in this forum. Greeting, A’man

9000 slows down itself
Hello SAABiner! Here’s a strange problem that I’ve been observing for a long time: (vehicle is a 9000 B234 2.3 FPT hand switch) No matter what gear and what speed, the car seems to brake itself! And indeed, neither any brakes are fixed or rusty, but you really feel that the engine slows down very strongly… Sure, if you take the gas path and brake yourself, it’s really extreme… Especially if I switch on the air conditioning system while rolling out with the gear in place, you feel a clear jerk as it slows down. Can it be that the climate compressor is stuck? Can it be on DI or candles? Or even the throttle flap??? (because if the throttle flap is completely closed, the engine gets hardly any air, or? That’s why it also slows down, because the pistons moving downwards have to work against the underpressure and thus are quite slowed down) maybe you have an idea…

Worth buying ? Want to switch to Saab
Dear Saab Fan community, the Saab virus has packed me again and since I do not drive so much anymore (20 tsd p.a. instead of 25 tsd pa) I want to separate myself from my old Rover Diesel and buy a Saab. Dates: 9000 CS, 150 HP LPT, , everything inside except ESD and MAL, Bj 96 104 tsd km occupied, previous owner 2 companies, then 10 years older pair price 4800 what do you think about it? Oh yes: Automatic, I want to see still invoice documents that the oil was also exchanged. I think, you can buy that, air down is also still, I think I get Him for 4400. Do you think I can buy Him? Would be very nice if I got short feedback

Hello Saab community, my convertible has to be relieved for miles. Therefore, on Friday I drive the following 9000 CSE from ’96 test:http://www.mobile.de/…/da.pl?… What is a real price for this vehicle, provided it is in good condition? Does anyone know the dealer and have experiences? Thank you for your answer, greeting from Xyacht

Need your help to exchange torn screw without removing the head.
Hello your Saab pros, I have unfortunately had to find out today that the screw is torn off. Seen from the front this is the right upper screws. Somehow I have the impression that always this screw prefers to leave. How do I get the rest out of my head now without having to take the cylinder head down again? It would be optimal if as little as possible has to be dismantled. Who can give me tips for this?

hot-cold-warm-cold —CSE `93—-ACC
Soohoo, forum, answers found. But I am still unsure. Therefore the following situation + question. Air conditioning got its service and also a new filling. Cooling performance is nevertheless only “lo” satisfactory. Self check showed zero errors. In the last half-cold winter I was looking forward to a Nordic heating. Pustekuchen. Laue’s ventilation, but “hot” for my temperature feeling it did not come out of the nozzles despite “hi” position. normal range and I haven’t got it in the red up to now. Manual control of the fan speed also works. Furthermore, occasionally the windows are covered, both in cold and warm weather. Does my control unit n shot or with which other spare parts order can I please the Saabothekers?

Backlash damage!
hi gemeinde! I posted here about a year ago already because of my backward passage! meanwhile ises unfortunately so far that I almost no longer get it inserted! and if then rather by chance and with very unpleasant and grim noise the trick to insert the Rgang still while rolling forward unfortunately by now also does not work anymore. back then was the talk of synchonringen if I remember correctly… but somehow does not entirely open up to me why a R should be synchronized??? what can be the reason for the heavy backstage? possibly the lock? the car is the bj. 95er 2.0lpt, 5 gear shift with FM gear! I’m excited about your contributions and sure that you won’t disappoint me this time either!

…the shit… leased,or everything normal?
Before two h I drive proudly shopping, shop loaded, morgrn it should go to WarnemĂźnde. At once a beating noise under the hood, the engine I switched off SOFORT. Conclusion: the rib belt in driving direction right, the climate etc drives,is in resolution,i.e.,it is already divided in the middle. The shreds from the fallen side can be seen and grasped, but not to get out. My house and yard screwdriver is not available, ununja, was’ Miracle,Friday around shortly before six evenings. Now I let myself drive to ATU, maximum 1km away from the current location of Saab’s, and they want to come up with something, where they will get the belt fixed tomorrow. Didn’t sound pessimistic. Can I drive the 1km without the (half) belt? It smelled quite like rubber under the hood. I don’t ask for boredom, but for concern about possible consequential damage. Besides, the at ATU have to lie all possible rib belts,THEES naturally NOT! That’s what my grandpa used to say: that’s why the Russian won the war; because everything was the same and fit, but not with us…I know… now comes the outcry, because the heath is a hangover half Dutchman…

Strange phenomenon
Hello forum, maybe someone can help me here. The following problem: Saab 9000 CSE MY 95 2.3 ltr. 170 PS Ecopower, 5 gear switch. He may have gone out while driving and was towed. After several stays in Saabwerkstätten nothing could be found. After more than 40 hours search it was found that there was a mass error in the wire harness. Then the wire harness was changed, starter changed, but the phenomenon remains: this describes itself, it does not start, because it does not get a fuel. However, if you pull the plugs of the air sensor in the intake track and the plug of the cooling water sensor, it jumps immediately, but in emergency run. It has been checked and exchanged so far: control unit (3 different on old wire harness and new cable tree) Both sensors also with old and new cable tree, new starter has been put out as a new way-stoper, and all fuses have been tested and measured under the continuous flow.
