Tips for buying a Saab 9000 CSE requested!

the TÜV wants to divorce us
Hello Saabschrauber u. Bastler! Now it has caught us, the TüV wants to divorce us! After I have already invested a lot for the HU of my 9000 CD 2,3 Softturbo, the (free) workshop of my trust has found that the ABS unit is defective (the right rear caliper is no longer supplied with brake fluid). Does one of you still have such a part lying around meaningless and would like to silver it possibly ? Thanks already in advance for the trouble.

repeatedly defective ignition cassette
Hello, my 9000 2.0t (150 hp) Bj 1997, 133,000 km, suddenly no longer started 14 days ago: Ignition cassette defective (roughly burned). New part built in, ran wonderfully. After about 60 km again jerking while accelerating, always worse, hardly ran, until the engine completely went out. ADAC measured: When starting at the ignition cassette no rashes of the measuring instrument seen, smelled also probably a little burned. So: again ignition cassette! How can a new ignition cassette after 60 km defek again The ADAC man said: Saab never breaks (can I operate after 20 years), but the ignition cassettes are a known weak point. Is he right? Rust on the windscreen frame
After a car wash that had been due for months, I found that rust was formed on the lower left windshield frame. 4 years ago, when I bought my 9000 cse, 110 kw, BJ 97, 185t km from a Saab dealer, the seller proudly told me that he had replaced the windshield for free because of many stone strokes. Since in the forum already several times about these rust spots was reported but the exchange in a Saab W until yesterday. Light games…or: why wander to the distance!??
Moin moin together! My 9000CD Bj.88 has the following woe: After light travel (abbreviation light) this is temporarily after turning off the engine – even when turning the light switch in zero position – not extinguished. After once to x-time pressing the main light switch beyond the tip point (click) it is extinguished and then for the next time fulfilled its service without mucking again a few days… In addition, it could not be switched on at times, which was expressed so that I could flash up, but when the switch was released it was again called for short-sightedness. When the next floor wave was over, it was unexpectedly there again and more than once the picture left a light hopping enthusiastic pusher behind the front man. So and for a couple of days there is an end to the main light/light horn which also occasionally sample -Acting the main-beam switch or even eagerly run over from ground waves no longer change… My guess would be a wobble contact / cable break… but who knows where I first have to look at this model? Am still layman and liked to look as minimally invasive and purposeful as possible… Thank you in advance!

Hello and everyone here for the first time a happy new!!! So, but now enough of the phrases HELP !!! My 9000, 3.0 V6 pulls away a lot of electricity. Despite new Bat. was a start of the vehicle after 2 days of service no more. Yes, even the diode of the alarm system did not flash any more. I mean here in the forum once to have read about water breaks in the “Aquarium”, but could not find the respective post again (have so about until January 08 back leafed). I guess it is gena So the big question: How do I make my aquarium a “terrarium” ??? How do I dry it? Or are there ways to protect the elements in the “aquarium” in a simple way (which in my case means: for small money!) from the moisture? Error Lambda probe
Hello SAAB 9000 community, we’ve been making my 97-er SAAB 9000 CS 2.0 ND automatic for weeks. The engine doesn’t run properly after a short driving time (it stutters) shows “check engine” and does not produce any performance. The “kick down” does not work either. There is always an error at the lamda probe. We have changed it already 2 times. Now even a factory new probe is in it. Always the same game! The Tech 2 diagnostic device shows the following specific error message: rcode P0130front Lambda sensor error code for sensor function Can any of you do something with it? Best regards kiebitz11

Screen frame rusted through
Hey municipality, I had a new windshield installed a few years ago. I just saw that the window frame is quite midway through the lower edge of the window and has not looked under the plastic cover yet looked like from the outside, but I don’t want to know at all. What should I do? Hope for the next stone blow and prepare the frame and prime during the exchange of the window? Do you have experiences with the dilemma?

Hello !
