Hello, I’ve been dealing with the engine tuning of my Turbo-9000er for some time now and would like to realize the project water injection. Does anyone have any experience? Thank you!

Which engine for city traffic?
Hello, I am looking for a used 9-5 station wagon for our family, only the engine question torments me a little. Which would be recommended, at about 17,000 km a year and of which more than 80% (!) city traffic ? I am a little helpless, since most here are not exactly enthusiastic about the durability of their respective engines. So which engine, and especially how much may it have run ? Does one of the friendly users still have the Ultimate SAAB page in the net with also older Da ten …etc. around the 9-5 ? Many thanks in advance and with kind regards Christian.

9-3 2.2 Tid
Hello, need urgent help or tips! My 9-3 2.2 TID has now stayed in a short time twice or has jumped and then gone out again. The first time a Saab branch could “reset” the car again, but now he and they are “mine”, it would be the injection system. The first time they said that an old software is the problem, which was wrongly played up by another Saab workshop at the end of last year. After I complained, s If anyone knows this problem or has a tip for me, super1 Thank you, your Ollikaf.

From summer new 2.4 Jtd diesel….
Was very pleased about what the AMS announced in the last issue. But I’m a little surprised that not all the readers have broken out here in joy jumps…. It is at least in my eyes one of the best drives you can buy. Didn’t anyone notice it, or did I get something wrong?

Stitch into the wasp nest 3.0V6 Tid
Hi, everybody, I know I’m getting a little mean right now, but I’m just interested in… I’m a Saab driver and a fan… So don’t hit me… (Anger me with a Renault Avantime V6, with the timing belt change… engine has to get out and quite complex everything.) And then I asked myself the question. Was there a Saab 9-5 3.0 Tid that ever made the timing belt change???

3.0 TID Who has the most km?
After my attrition “3.0 TID wrong buy?” came so many negative reports that actually no diesel should run on the road anymore. Mine has now in 3 months 15,000 problem-free Km (except the annoying brake light-defect display). Therefore I would be interested now who can report of the car actually positive (except for sale) and who really Km on the tacho has since a diesel is usually a multi-driver car.

First signs of the bushing problem
Hello guys, I wanted to ask myself what the first signs of the starting engine damage because of the running bush problem look like? I hope to get a lot of information as here more than a dozen V6TiD have reported from the exit. Thank you Toni

Gas plant and SAAB Turbo ́s
Hello people, the fuel prices are going to be bad ! I will soon take over a 9-5 year 2002/01, 150 hp 2.0 t with only 27000 km. I thought that with this car a LPG system is worth it. Who has experience with gas systems in 9-5. I am mainly concerned about the durability, since I drive about 35000 km in the year. At approx. 2500 € installation costs a system pays off already after one year. Greeting Gerd

Reinforced Wastegate for performance-enhancing engines
Hello, one of the basic problems with performance-enhancing engines should probably be the weak serial wastegates. From Wastegate to Wastegate there are differences, for example, you hardly notice it, but there are also cars where you can feel the pulsating feeling in full-gas driving extremely. I just came across a Wastegate from Forge, wanted to hear your opinion about it:http://www.forgemotorsport.com/content.asp?… As it is screwed, you can continue to modify (stronger spring) n) I guess it’s relatively easy to perform and you won’t have the violent can opener action (as is the case with the serial wastegates). Could it be a worthwhile purchase – what do you think? I’m afraid of the change because I don’t know exactly how to set the basic charge pressure correctly (also game or pretension etc.) – who’s clearing me up?

Difference 2.0 4Cyl/2.8 6 Zyl
After a few thousand kilometers with the 2.8, I find some facts that you might comment on or confirm. 1. the charge indicator in the 2.8 is less in the impact than in the 2.0. i.e. the needle moves far less, the optical bench area is very scarce. Is that so? 2. the 2.8 sings with certain touring numbers and in thrust mode. 3. the agility of the gas is identical. 4. the consumption is one litre higher at 2.8. 5. the 6 gear gear has a hole between 3th and 5th when switching down and 2th, i.e. the gearbox remains much less long in the 3rd and jumps much faster in the 2nd than in the 5th. 6th when ignition in cold condition, the 2.8 goes almost on 1500 tours and bleachs that until the activity log in. That was not so at the 2,0. Greetings from the cap
