Wishes to have had a happy Easter! Was last week at the TÜV and AU in SU. Was still early, the TÜV employee musty. Ok. Fumbles around his PC and with every measurement I suddenly see the green beam turning red (after which he went off the gas) He could talk: “That’s what for the workshop” On friendly! Inquiries was only to hear: “empty run too high” Again asked and in fact the reference speed was at 12 (twelve)!!!! RPM too high. What was nice with the old Ver There were 100 RPMs that could still be set after hearing. Still had the AU certificate from the last time, also SU, but a super-neather examiner, who had a little tricked and assured me everything would be great. The guy sees the certificate, murmured angryly and….made another measurement. Glued the badge and said goodbye: “That’s not possible, that’s not okay! Since you may have already read that I have a big bow around Saab Werkst If Kater’s blacksmith wasn’t so far away, I’d give him up too…. I’d be grateful for your opinion. dierk

Disconnection of thrust
Moin! In a thread for sprite-saving driving (MT-Forum “Alternative Fuels”, it is postulated that the push-off only takes effect from a certain speed. Under this speed fuel is injected, so it is cheaper to drive in idle mode (or better: to let roll ). Does this also apply to the Saab – and if yes, from which speed? (has unfortunately only cut through consumption in my SID, not currently consumption ) I am satisfied with my consumption (just 9 liters) – with speedy drive, but maybe there is another tenth in it. Have a 2002er 9-3 with Trionic 7 (2.0t, Hirsch). But might be interesting to say something about all engine variants (to which corresponding information is known) … Greeting

Mobile 1 – does that have to be?
how some apologists spread here, in order to be able to divide the latently threatening motor infarction only by using this or a comparable shell product called Helix (which is supposed to be even more expensive.) Now I have read here, however, that also significantly cheaper synthetic oils (in the 25 Euro class) are equally suitable. In their specifications they correspond to the “pharmaceutical juices” and have identical approvals for example from VW and DB. “wvn” even represents the position that even less “famous” oils do just as well and even call corresponding products, which I unfortunately do not find again. But as we know, only the one who has an unshakable faith comes to heaven. And how is it now with the oil?. Do you really have to believe that Mobil 1 is the only true and right for (m)a Saab to keep him from the hellish (oil) coal? Can someone show me the right way? For this a heart God’s reward.

Did my 740 Volvo also make and run up to 285000km without probs.(sold afterwards) Would I look forward to a few helpful answers. MfG Devil

VMax 9-5 Aero Hirschperf. 305 HP? + Reason limit 250?
Habe mir (after test drive and thanks to the helpful answers from the 41Kater and Troll-Sam) the 9-5 Aero poweredbyHirsch, with 305 hp, double exhaust, sports suspension, My2002, manual transmission, bought. Must, however, still wait until I have this icing. Unfortunately, couldn’t make an oversized HI-speed drive, because primarily shocky country road ride tested. Who knows: a) where the VMAX lies (Kombi) b) whether deer actually regulates at 250? c) where or how or who the control “aufmac” }> Is conformist with all nonconformists, }> consists mostly of water in matter, like all others, and distinguishes me only by my highly personal irrationality. I have this again together with all of them! And after about 10 years of Saab, 6 million KM and X cheap bowls, which I plowed together until the TÜV separated us, but also sog. I find Saab (whether now it is possible to open it or open it?) GM or the “real” Saaberers are still behind me the fascinating (financial) cars. (Had no desire to participate in the non-conformity discussion, but the fear that anyone could think that 100, 130, 150, 180 or 250 is the alleged “reason limit”. I love to expand borders now! By the way, there is no too high speed, but only a too small brain! Or the other way around, even 2km/h, was too fast when it crashes! Tungsten

3.0 TiD oil change at 10,000?
Hello to the Saab driver, I drive a Signum V6 CDTi (motor Isuzu 3.0) BJ 08/04, according to Opel oil change at 50,000km or after display (flex after load). I bought the car with 12,000km and had an oil change immediately, thought it can’t hurt me. Here in the forum I read that some already change the oil every 10,000km. How are your experiences with the engine? Greeting Sigi 8900

ECU reset
Hello guys, I have a question. I freed the motor control unit by removing a fuse of 12V for about 15 minutes from voltage. After resetting the fuse the engine started, but did not want to go into idle, and went out. That repeated itself three times. At the fourth start I gave some gas, and everything was fine again, dare to drive, also idle is ok. Well my question, because the search yielded many results, but only not the fact how to A short answer to what needs to be done exactly after the reset, or a link where all this is described. Thanks B205R

Crack in the cracker
Hello all, my Saab 9-5 Kombi, Built 12/00, 98.000 km, has a nice crack in the dumpster. After careful estimation of my workshop I would be with 900 Euro incl. material. Now I have heard that you can possibly also weld the part. Does anyone have experience with it? Which workshop can do this? How expensive is this? Does the dumpster have to be expanded to do this? Or does someone possibly have to sell a dumpster for this model? Greeting from Unna County

Water pump defective 🙁
Hi Forum, after a successful holiday in Austria (my wife called out to save money), my 9-5 Kombi 2.0t (150 hp) had to go to the workshop because my computer whispered something of low cooling liquid. Result: 400-500 Eur (take the car off this afternoon) because cooling water pump is defective. The whole thing after only 76,000 km. So much for saving 🙁 🙁 My question: is normal? I mean 76,000 km and about 4.5 years old car, so my old Ford Escort lasts longer? h now set to even more problems or is that just bad luck? What do your experiences look like? Please don’t say hello to Oliver P.S. too much bad experiences, my soul must be caressed, after all, the 9-5 combo is my “dream car”…

Everything’s great, everything’s normal, or what?
In the operating instructions for my 2,3ltr-bolden with the legendary 170 horsepowers it is to be read that he needs a clean lead-free fuel, which has its octane number between 91 and 98 ROZ. So depending on the mood and waiting time at the pump I refuel this or that. But mostly the 91 ROZ juice. (Finally no orthodontist) And thus my little one runs exactly as beautiful as with the “higher percentage” varieties. At least I don’t notice any disadvantage. I’ve never been in, on, on or next to this north turn (where is it actually?) to deduce myself on whole or tenth of a second or anything else. I like to drive comfortably and speedily – as far as it goes. But without infatuating the frenzy. So I ask myself, which pros-perspective drawbacks do you negotiate with this or that fuel? After all the concentrated “Knoff Hoff”, which I was allowed to read and learn here, I have a little hope, for this I have some hope. to be able to expect rich information.
