  • Test drive Citroen C-Crosser

Hello and a good evening. Today it was finally time. I was one of the first to drive the new C-crosser as Exclusive HDI 155 FAP. One way forward: When SUV from Mitsu, Peugeot, Citroen, then Citroen and Peugeot. So: Before discussions arise: Since it was a demonstrator, he has everything you can dream of; e.g. leather, xenon, NaviDrive and a sound system Rockford Fosgate.New price: over 42ts. Chapter 1: Driving and comfort + The diesel from PSA is very quiet. + The driving performance ( according to the factory) are good (9,9 sec on 100; maximum speed 200kmh) + the steering is very direct + the circuit precise + the creamy comfort Chapter 2: space for man and dog + plenty of space for man and dog + very flexible – very confusing – complicated operation of the NaviDrives – As 7 seater little space for luggage Chapter 3: equipment and quality + very much equipment + good workmanship & quality – little extra accessories to have (Navi, sliding roof & metallic) Chapter 4: safe & Clean + Very good safety equipment + (Naturally) standard particulate filter – quite high consumption (10.8 liters according to the on-board computer) Chapter 5: How is the price? – Very expensive – Fragile value maintenance – high insurance rating My conclusion: respect Citroen. The 1st off-road vehicle is what for the family with a lot of comfort, safety and a powerful diesel. Unfortunately only from 33.59€! Lg your “call”

  • AX Bj 93 Starting difficulties

Hello together.. Got there a little problem with the AX Bj 93 33kw of my sister-in-law. Short history: Morning car tries to start without success. Was only a quick clacking from the engine room to hear. Error found in the fuel pump relay. Plug from rest was with clackers. So old relay out 2 days ago, today new relay worried at Fiat (the from the Ullysee also fit in, same switched, same connection. same part number) and in the car with it. g I had with it : The clacking was gone and the relay switched on normally. Now to my actual problem: Shouldn’t there be a (if I remember correctly) brown motor control lamp shining when switching on the ignition?? If so, what is it that does not light up and the engine does not start. Battery is good, 4 fuses in the engine compartment IO, fuses left fuse box IO, starter rotates diligently but I miss this control lamp of the E injection system, the buzzing of the fuel pump and the starting of the engine. If any of you can help me (circuit diagrams or similar) or give tips please post. Thanks already in advance. Greetings mirical1

  • High transverse acceleration with hydropneumatic citroes possible?

Hi Citroenfreunde, with the Xantia Avtiva Citroen once had a model on offer which, thanks to a special hydraulic construction, almost completely undercut any lateral inclination of the body. This vehicle was capable of extreme transverse accelerations of up to 1.2 g. A dimension, in which a Ferrari F 40 reaches, but sporty saloons far miss. Although the current Hydrative suspensions cannot prevent the transverse inclination, as the AFS in a Xantia Activ a, but they can still effectively reduce them. However, in the test reports of our German automobile magazines hydractive Citroen always do much worse in curvy courses than the competition, which is equipped with unregulated steel suspensions. What is the reason for this? Is this due to the test drivers, to whom the hydraulic suspension suggests a soft steel suspension, why they dare not drive through the curves quickly. Or are the possible lateral accelerations the current hydraulic suspensions actually lower than those of the steel-sprung competition? Greetings, HIPPO

  • Why are so many forums Arrogant ?!!

Hello together. I have to get rid of something, because I don’t understand that there are any forums that my IHR car would be untouchable…. As some here know, I’m looking for the successor of my Golf V…. in May/June it’s time and it’s also known that only two vehicles are eligible. C6 and E-Class. Actually also C5, but as V6 HDI Exclusive still too expensive… I’ve often been informed about the C6 here, and no one has taken me directly from the E-Class. old. Why also ?! But when I asked yesterday, who has ever driven the C6 in the W211 forum… headshake…. there were answers like the purest scrap…. citroen has never invented anything and only copy… or driving behavior is life-threatening… and that of the people who have never seen a C6 from inside, let alone driven! Man talks about susceptible and expensive workshop.. cheap plastic etc… Sorry, but from Mercedes Forum I have something meh The same applies to the Golf V Forum… Good that the Citroen Forum is different and knows how to deal with the competition at eye level. Merci.

  • Satisfaction with Citroën (car, dealer and manufacturer)

Hello Since February 06 I drive now my C4 1.6 Hdi Coupé and wanted to know now just how satisfied you are with Citroën and whether it is with my experience. Pretty much from the beginning the brakes squeak while driving slowly (just before the car stops). I actually told the dealer at every opportunity – they cleaned the brake system (at my expense) and replaced the discs once. But the problem has not been solved to this day! Citroën showed quite generously – the gas pressure dampers that hold the boot flap up at once did not do quite as well and were exchanged on guarantee. Also the defective key was replaced free of charge. Other problems, however, were either not fixed, or only at my expense: the cruiser spins sometimes, turns off during the ride at once and tells me that I should be “serviced”. Sometimes he only lets himself be there. The biggest problem is the clutch! The car is only 4 years old and has no 50,000 km down – there is the clutch at the end. I notice this when I speed up in the 3rd or 4th gear, the touring counter then jumps from +- 2,000 to 2,700 then falls back to 2,000 and then the speed rises to normal. On my request, my hands share I think that Citroën should stand up for the obviously poor quality of the clutch, and I’m not sure that Citroën will change the clutch only up to 40,000 km on guarantee, then it would be at my expense, unless there is a material error. However, this can only be found out when you take the clutch down (at my expense of course) In my opinion, this is an absolute impudence to put a driver error on me at a clutch damage of less than 50,000 km. I think Citroën should stand up here for the obviously poor quality and It’s not for nothing that I read in 2 magazines that the C4 should keep an eye on the clutch from 50,000 km (so there’s basically a material error). These are my, not quite so positive experiences with the customer service of Citroën – which finally made me sell the car and look around elsewhere. They don’t get 900 euros from me for a mistake I didn’t make!

Hello municipality, have read somewhere that it is recommended to leave the climate on permanent operation ? Or do you prefer to use “DACTIVATE” only in case of need ?

  • Citroen Saxo 1.1i (BJ 02/2000)

Good afternoon! Own a Citroen Saxo 1.1i from 02/2000 (60 ps) Have the following tuning measures to do: -Alu rims: (15 or 16 inches) 175 or 185 tires. see -Depferlege: Had thought of 35mm in front and back. What do you think about it? Rather feathers or is it worth buying a cheap sports suspension? (What does the installation usually cost about?) -Chiptuning: www.ggpowertec.de (They thought they could get about 8ps out) -Air filter: K&N exchange filter -ESD: Bosi o the Remus… let’s see who has something clever. (Search someone who doesn’t shout too loudly but sounds rather cool…) – in the future I wanted to buy the citroen sportsatz2. (front and back apron + side skirt for 400€) what does it cost ^^ actually the painting and the cultivation circa? What do you think of my project? Thank you Sören

  • C1 water in the footroom;(

the suffering story of my C1 (Bj.2008) started about 2 months ago: one morning I wanted to go to work and discovered a puddle in the driver’s footroom 🙁 off to the citroen-werkstatt… there it turned out quite quickly that the door seal was leaking (and this is probably normal at C1)… so new seal in. few days later… beautiful autumn rain.. and a new puddle at the same place… it swiped so nicely back and forth while driving, would have me showers can save 😉 my little one was then taken up in the workshop for a week for “observation”… well.. then it was said that the seals at the c1 already (quotation) “does not generally be the best” and there was a SUPPLEMENTATION installed. but now it had to go… hence 2 weeks dryness at the feet (maybe it could be because it hardly rained) and then this morning.. SPLASH… the biggest puddle so far *heul* with the workshop and even citroe n-deutschland on the phone.. but besides watching you can’t do anything… now I’m supposed to take him back to the end of the week so slowly annoyed… did someone have similar experiences?!?!?

  • Citroën ZX 1.4 no longer accepts gas????

Hello I drove a longer distance yesterday and from one moment to the other my car started to jerk. He was still driving but he was getting slower, the more I stepped on the gas the less gas he accepted… I don’t know advice, the spark plugs are full. (how new) After the bezin pump I have already looked, it also looks perfect and works without problems. Would be happy if I could help. I also read that it was event. at the Dr. osselklappenpoti could lie, but I don’t know how to test it… I cleaned the carburetor, too.
