  • Purchase advice first family carriage

My C2 will be 4 years old next month or 90000 km old. Next car will be “something” bigger. Requirements: – Space for strollers – approx. 2x a month is a ride of approx. 500 km – max. 12 thousand euros prefer 11 – no Berlingo First (I do a lot, but it’s just too ugly) Have us looked at the C3 Picasso. Great car! Only unfortunately too new… there are no used ones yet and there are no discount promotions like with the by the way Citroens. Maybe a demonstration car , but whether we get it pushed down to 11-12.000 .. questionable (my dealer got in a new demonstration car… Advanced in green with AudioKlima Package > NP 16.700 Euro) Do I have to look around at other manufacturers? Greeting

  • Presentation here and short questions

Hi, first of all I wanted to introduce myself here as a Citroen-Freshling. I just picked up my new C3P (110 HDI, black, panorama and black package). Looks good and drives well. My very first Frenchman Vllt. I will post here and there (I already have) – hopefully not with big problems I find it funny that according to the seller there are no on-board folders yet Is probably a lack according to BGB – I will radio Citroen times because… 2 questions: 1. Is my first new car… Do I still have to drive it in carefully or don’t give it any more? If yes, how? The seller said: No, you don’t have to… 2. On the right above the radio is a slot. Is it intended for credit cards or the like? The dealer had already closed before I could ask that 3. I thought to glue the panoramic roof with a protective foil – similar to tram windows. Do you think that would be useful? Panorama roofs are also available in other mod ellen – vllt. has someone there already had experiences… Thank you for every tip I will give a driving report after some KM if there is interest. Greetings from Berlin Bernd

  • Search cheap beginner car

Good evening, my name is Klaus am 20 and I have just made my FS. I am looking for a cheap beginner car for the WE. I am 195 cm tall and weigh 96 kg. Therefore the car should not necessarily be tiny. I do the wef to work by train. I only need the car to shop at the WE. Occasionally I also want to be a little flexible. However, the car will rarely drive more than 30 km I think I will come to almost 5000 km a year. I don’t like car driving particularly Criteria: Niedrieger Vrbrauch (max. 5 liters) Cheap maintenance Niedriege Reperaturkosten. No elktrischnack. I don’t want a car where I have to put every little thing in the workshop. A speedometer lighting should be able to repair yourself as well as the brake discs. It would also be good if the car could be brought in a free workshop for inspection. My budget is about 500€ I know I am here in the Citroen Forum but maybe I am here in the Citroen Forum you can also recommend me other models. The C1 is already ok however it is still too expensive. Besides there is probably a lot of technology (climate and so on). A friend has a Fiesta (built in 2006) and the consumption about 8 liters that would be too much for me. I hope you can help me. Greeting Klaus.

  • 45 hp but pulls like a beast!

Hello together….I drive a Citroen Ax BJ 92 33kw / 45 ps. 1.0 L. Yes yesterday I drove on the highway as usual and then I thought I was driving on the left lane and giving “full speed” I was going to 2eit.Yes and then I could hardly believe it the pointer was standing at stroke 180 and then I had to go from the gas again.Have the feeling that there is still a little bit going on.If I should come to this again I hold this on video and then put it in.I could e of course it went down a bit of mountain. But quite honestly this is normal for 45 ps ? please don’t answer like e.g.: Yes is only loud tacho. No real 180 km/h. because that’s me kla that really doesn’t need to tell me. thank you

  • Needs help with a duck 2CV

Hello. Have a duck at last! Probably Bj.67 , type AZ-A. Stand for a long time in a barn. Everything so far get back, like rusted brakes, scraped coals from the alternator etc. Impeccable spark, new fuel is fed over a hose (only for testing) Turns perfectly through, but does not jump on!!! Is there any trick with it? Who can help me a bit? Thank you Ingo

  • New

Hello, I would like to introduce myself today as a forum newcomer. Still I drive my Xantia Break, but soon (hopefully) I change to the C4 (I sometimes have the impression that this is a hidden C4 forum – then I am quite right here 😉 ). This is my third Citroen forum membership (according to citforum and ACC), and one reads a lot about negative experiences with the C4 (and the dealer/head office). I can only hope that this is not the case with my C4. it will be a case… And it is often the case that the majority of the satisfied do not write about it, but the (unfortunate) problems are very well posted (which is also good and correct), which may lead to a slightly crooked picture about a vehicle. So much for the time being. Greetings to all, Andreas

  • Fuel consumption / Oil / Belts

petrol consumption: within the framework of the one-way time I move my c4 relatively humanely through the surroundings (max. 4000u/m). of the first 700km so far I drove about 150km autobahn, the rest I was traveling on different many distances between 1 and 30km (village/land roads – easy distance). “main route” are the daily 10km to work and back. average consumption according to display 9,8l/100km. I find under the above mentioned conditions relatively much, since I do not live in the city and that’s why I don’t really have stop’n go. with short distances I can still understand… how are your experiences? is that within the frame? does the consumption drop even after the start time? oil: my boss gave me the tip to have a complete oil change after the start time. is not recommended by citroen, prescribed, etc., but should be better in any case. is there anything about it? in this context still the question about the use of higher quality or “sprit” saving” oils? good, not good, no matter? if yes, which one? is a bit planless… 😉 belts: can you turn off this annoying belt “alarm”??? good, he educates me slowly, but sure, nevertheless I would like to make him “mouth dead”… laugh. sorry, if I should have missed similar threads 🙂

  • Gas vs Petrol

Hi @ all I’ve heard of many who have retrofitted their gasoline. A hybrid vehicle with gas and gasoline. What do you think about it? Your opinion would interest me. I think that in a few years we will run out of fuel. Until it is done, you will surely have to take a loan before you go to the petrol station. At the moment the litre of petrol in Wiesbaden stands at €1.23. In contrast, the litre of gas at €0.58. For a long time already cheaper. 2.500,- €. With a driving performance of about 30,000 km / year, a system would count after less than a year. What I want to know now, how is this gas produced? Artificially or from natural resources. If the 2nd should be the case, we would be back at the beginning of the original problem: that then the gas will run out and become too expensive. What do you think about it? MfG Klaus

  • Citroën and ESP

Hello! One thing in advance: I am quite a layman about cars. At the moment I am learning to drive a car and my father wants to buy a small second car with which I can practice (the first car unfortunately has an automatic transmission). I have now looked around a little and picked out cars that would be visually, pricely and equipped – this includes from Citroën the C2, the C3 and the Pluriel. I find all of them very well designed, and you can at the moment seem ar quite a bargain make (with Citroën are in any case in this country “hit prices”, but unfortunately the website of Citroën Switzerland gives hardly any information about the equipment of the different cars: in the Swiss “configurator” you can e.g. no ESP as option can be selected (in my opinion already belongs in a new car), and also there is hardly anything else about the possible options etc. There is e.g. the British “configurator” much more detailed. the Austrian internet home of the company visited, and see there – ESP is there for all models that interest me to have as option. Now I am permanently confused. Is it possible that the Swiss website is simply not up-to-date? I can not imagine that ESP should be a choice only for Germany and Austria. Would be nice if here perhaps a Citroën “insider” would know an answer! agen would you recommend to a novice like me from the mentioned ones? I find them all beautiful, but there are certainly significant differences that I overlook.
