  • No warranty on clutch? (also in this case…?)

Hi friends, I think I’m stuck in a small trap. On wear parts there is no warranty that’s already clear to me… Now to my situation: I picked up my Citroen Saxo today which I tried on Monday. Was also everything ok with the test drive only exhaust and brakes faulted this was then also made. The problem with the whole story is that the car when I drove it was on reserve and the seller told me not to chase it so much. I took that of course (as much as I would have kicked it either way or not with a cold engine). Today after the purchase I refueled the car then three quarters of a hour carefully driven and then I wanted to pull the gears up a little bit more and noticed from about 4000 turns that the clutch slips! Now that’s such a thing. Clutch is no wear but how could I have come to this error in my case? I still couldn’t drive the car with empty tank at upper speeds and with bad luck to stay at the next corner. I don’t think that’s what the clutch is going on?

  • C Crosser coupling

Moin Bin new here. Heisse Helge and I bought my first new car from Cija nich quite new was 3 months old the C-Crosser. Got the now a scarce year, at our dealer(Peugeot) in the place the inspection(20000) had. Shortly afterwards on vacation with Wohwagen. In the holiday place arrived Wohwagen set up car in the corner, on the third day exit. Clutch slips grrrrr, well from the next dealer is a little further wech, we know Simmerring of the Getiebe undicht Wagon auf Hebebühne und sie da Ölke in der Kupplung everything clear guarantee, nee thinke KDM of Citroen says because of the “Fremdinspektion” no guarantee. Citroen customer meeting already etaws skilfully, that is indeed no guarantee the Simmerring is indeed a covert part and that is then a culant thing, which with my Inspektion at Peuge can’t be taken over. How did I call for the Representation?

  • 2cv Restaurateur wanted

Hello in the round, I’m looking for a workshop that will restore me a 2CV. I found some at google (e.g. duck fresh, duckman etc.) I’m off the socks when I read their price ideas. The legal minimum wage is probably full. Can someone give me a tip where I can find something without fairytale tax – whereby I could also screw with, rust up etc.. Room Aachen, Cologne-Bonn and surroundings would be good. My rusty leaf: 2CV type AZ-L EZ 11/1984 Gruss Axel

  • TÜV with weak cat, badge off?

Hello everyone, have a catalyst with weak performance. Must soon be to the TÜV with my Citroen. If the TÜV has that out during the examination, what happens then? May I continue to drive for a month and may in the time change the cat (old plate remains on)? Or, does the TÜV remove the old plaque, and thus forbids me to continue the journey. Due to my job my car and order + replacement of the cat in a workshop does not go after all within a few days. Thanks eu ch

  • PSA core brands: Pure warranty extension in DE from 2023

At the turn of the year 2023, an amendment to the law came into force, whereby no longer only warranty extensions can be offered in DE (link 1 and link 2). In combination with a maintenance contract, a warranty extension is also possible, but not separately. Peugeot has removed the mere extension of the warranty in DE from the program. However, this service is valid throughout Europe and will continue to be offered in AT, for example. has confirmed that only warranty extensions can be completed in other EU countries such as Austria. Unfortunately, the customer service of Peugeot AT only answered that one should contact the local dealers in AT. Only one of the registered dealers in AT has registered within 14 days (this however within 10 minutes – good timing). This said that such an extension is possible according to the PSA bank. So, who a pure warranty extension is possible I would like to ask his local dealer if there is a cooperation with a dealer in the EU or if I would like to make a request myself. For the sake of simplicity (language barrier) in Austria. Other EU countries should not be a problem. Even if I only asked Peugeot the chances are very good that this information applies to all former PSA core brands (Citroën, DS, Opel and Peugeot). I therefore also reflect this topic in these Areas.

  • BlueHDI 120 and 130 — Different fuel pumps?

Hi, everybody! Citroen C4 BlueHDI 120: The fuel pump in the tank can’t be heard. It hums very, very silently in case of ignition. Citroen Grand C4 Spacetourer BlueHDI 130: The fuel pump in the tank hums so loudly that it drowns the engine and I get headaches. In the Citroen workshop asked: Yes, the pump is audible, but nothing extraordinary. More Citroen workshop visited: Same statement. The fuel pump in the BlueHDI 130 was changed and thus something la With the BlueHDI 120 the pump pressure is 0.6 bar, with the BlueHDI 130 now 5 bar. I asked for a cost estimate for the replacement of the supposedly intact pump. The estimate was made using the FIN. The pump as spare part is listed with the number “9806721580”. To this number, however, I find now used pumps from the BlueHDI 100/120/150. That would indicate that the pump remained the same when updating to the BlueHDI 130. How is your knowledge With an audio recording from the interior of the vehicle. First from the driver’s seat, then near the rear middle seat. Thank you very much in advance for your input.
