We have a Citroen Berlingo 1.6 16V BJ 2005. Purchased 2006 as a new car. When driving backwards, the brakes squeak extremely loud, from the beginning. It is said that is normal with Citroen. When the engine is cold, it tickles and sounds like a tractor… the answer was “normal with Citroen”. If the engine is warm it starts badly, it is also normal:-) At 2000 turns it pops out of the exhaust very loud…You can think what the workshop says. The petrol pump was at 10000k The left sliding door doesn’t close properly. The seats are torn but have changed a bit. Has anyone else experienced this kind of experience? We are at the end with the nerves. We had bought the car as a new car and had to be towed 5 times by now. And we have now the second workshop and nothing changes. That can’t be all normal with a new car. In the meantime it was found that the linkie sliding door is warped, but we never had an accident.

2 cv malicious laundry?? need advice
Hello together, I need your advice a few weeks ago. I bought myself a duck Bj 88 for 3100€. It looks very good and so I started happy. Today the shock, I was with an expert and he hit my hands over the head because I was obviously pulled quite crazily over the table. He showed me countless defects in wind ropes: starting with the axle legs, tires, brake, steering and above all the frame. e apparently needy, but without a little improvement. Rather, only the defects were covered. Well, he meant in any case I have to put in about 600 €, without thinking about the frame. The expert also wondered how the duck got at all (was only 11/07). He estimated the value of the car (without defects) at 2000 €. The problem is that I don’t have the technical idea of the car. That’s why I just trusted it because it was so completely The seller sold the part to me as technically impeccable. It is said that it has never been rejected, no rust etc. The opposite is the case. And as it looks like, all the defects mentioned were already present when I bought the car. So he knew about the defects. That’s for sure, anyway, because he is himself a screwdriver and constantly buys and sells duck. Now I want to get rid of the duck again, since I think that this is a fraudulent trick. This is how a witness can say to me that I have asked several times about defects and the condition of the frame and always only came, that the car is tiptop, no rust, the frame is undisputed etc.. Therefore also the price. He did not mention one of the now obvious defects. After I called him, he did not want to take back the duck and just hung up the listener. What should I do now? It can not be that one pulled so over the table we d, just because you are technically not so savvy. In the purchase contract it says that the sale of private goes to private and that without guarantee. However, he is a dealer. To do a few little things are clear on such an old car. But that goes simply too far. How do you value the thing?? For your advice I would be very grateful. Best regards, Rob

zx 2.0 16v simply locks off too soon?!?
Hello together, I drive a zx 2.0 16v 110kw/152ps. from today to tomorrow he locks down almost 1000 turns before when he actually has and when I drive autobahn is highest speed 160km/h.er also does not pull so much from 4500 turns but rather tortures itself. which is also to be mentioned the even deeper the walks so 1te,2te and 3te go up to approx.6,000, the 4te and 5te but only up to 5500 maximum and here he also starts to jerk more (almost as if with empty tan k full gas) at citroen I was already but you seem to have even less idea than I have of this model. I have since this problem has occurred the ignition bowls exchanged including the ignition modules and the knock sensor just like the ignition plugs but nothing has brought anything and he still tortures himself. can the reason for this be a defective in the control unit?if yes something like this comes from today to tomorrow? what could it be? thanks to many already in advance. mfg pitchbird82

Xantia brake
Hello! I drive a Citroen Xantia, my first car, so I have no experience with other cars. Once I let the car roll away without starting the engine and found almost no braking effect was present. To this one has to say: – car only minutes before switched off – brake works very well with running engine – braking effect first equal to zero, after approx. 2 sec very light braking effect (pedal fully pressed) I then of course brought the vehicle still z in order to stand, but was shocked by the braking performance, I wonder how such a car would be towed…, or what would happen if the engine ran out during a downhill at high speed, then only the hand brake remains… So my question: Is this normal, this virtually non-existent braking effect without the engine?

Who knows a cheap purchase address for C1 ? And which one? Diesel, gasoline-women’s emergency call – HELP!!!
Hello, since we have to drive for more than 150 km every day at the Kinderhilfswerk and eat up the fuel consumption at the Omega, we all put together and, after long searches, decided for a C1. We also have a smart, but only 2 people fit in, that’s too little. The Omega still remains as a bulky freight transporter. Task new car:- Drives from A to B, squeeze in if necessary back people, cheaper spirt consumption !!! (a little cute sol Is it already necessary to be-but not-female economy versus vanity 😉 The C1 came into the selection and then probably irrational the new Fiat 500, the mini is also cute, but both sooooooo expensive. So no matter how you turn it it it will have to be the C1. New or completely fresh needed. But in no case white or yellow-red goes still without extra price or? Should one now take the diesel? Or the petroler? Even the dealers do not agree. and how to calculate yourself reasonable? And because of cooperation-ready dealers!!!!! Here “on the village” there is nothing to negotiate. It is for milking mice. Does anyone in the forum know THE cheap address or THE nice dealer? Emergency also an EU import or somewhere from Uzbekistan….. The children’s charity really has to budget with every euro. Thank you very much, Daniela

Hydractiv vs Hydropneumatics
Hello, I used to drive xantia 2.0 vsx automatic 121 ps with the hydraulic suspension. that’s been a long time ago, from 1993-1996. the car was simply great. though, the car had matured the 195/55s at that time, which were not useful to the comfort. I want to get another xantia now. therefore the question to the experts among you, or also to those who have popo experience. wants to name: which of you has driven both types, so one with hydractiv and one with normal hydropneum atik and can I describe the difference I felt? I am a comfort fetishist. the more floating, the better. can you bring the normal xantia with comfort balls to the floating eye of a hydraulic? or even increase it? thank you for your infos, olaf

New summer tyres
Hello, my C4 needs two new summer tyres. At the moment, drive the original 205/50 ZR17 89W. Price inquiry from the dealer showed today that a tire (depending on the manufacturer – all brand companies: Fulda, Goodyear, Bridgestone, etc.) costs between 140 and 180 Euro (but then “already” incl. assembly, VAT, etc.). I’m really a bit flat, but according to the dealer I can’t take any other tires either 🙁 Why does such a lame crate actually need a W-tire (up to 270km/h)?? A tip or other info?

Citroen Customer Hotline – Experiences
Hello out there, wanted to ask questions about your experience with the customer hotline. I myself had the need to contact them twice in the meantime. They probably don’t have e-mail address – a pity – should be standard today. 1. Wanted to request the report for my 18″ Krakatoa rims, because I want to switch to 225/40R18. Requirement was made by letter. Until today (approx. 2 months) no reaction, resp. answer. 2. After reprogramming to day running light funkttio Workshop had no idea. The nice lady at the hotline (this time the attempt by phone) knew nothing – but wanted to take care of it and call me back. Until today (about 2 months) no call back. I found and fixed the problem in the meantime. I ask myself now: What do I do if I really have a serious problem? The workshops in the Stuttgart area are all not the Brüller and the hotline probably reacts to Customer requests are not. What are your experiences? Ask for feedback. Greetings MyC4

Xantia Activa V6
It happened, I now have an Activa V6! 1997 year of manufacture, i.e. an X1 with 140Tkm from Switzerland, checkbook AU booklet, new tires – all ok. The only thing he doesn’t have is sliding roof and leather. The approval was no problem. I had a few worries about the TÜV, this one found only one defect. It was a loose Torx spray on one of the mechanical sensors on the hinerax. It is a great car. First you have to get used to it without inclination to drive through curves, But it’s a great thing. On the country road you normally drive your 100 and have a free rear-view mirror, because you can do it everywhere. 😉 The car has a much better chassis than a current 3 or 5 BMW. You don’t have to compromise. The engine is first cream. A nice V6 rumble. The draught is enormous. The consumption is between 8.5 and 14 liters depending on the driving method. It’s no problem with the traffic on the highway between 110 and 170 km/h and n Ach 700km “only” 60 liters Super to refuel. The processing is good for a Frenchman. The gap measurements sometimes run a little apart, but it is forgiven. Beauty is always in the eye of the viewer. I keep you informed! Martin
