Hello Together, I have never asked so many questions about a car. Can you deactivate the Lane Assist permanently. So that it remains disabled at the start and I can activate it myself if necessary. I can only deactivate it with the turn signal lever as well as in the BC until the next restart. In addition, the distance controller is always switched on with the cruise control. Can you deactivate it somehow separately, so that I can only drive with the cruise control? Couldn’t read anything out of the guide in this regard. Thank you in advance

Hello, have just seen the brochure from the Born and it looks like the vehicle has drum brakes at the rear. Obviously like the ID3. Is there a technical explanation for this or did the Sparhammer hit? I am aware that the engine is braking, but is that enough at 160 km/h and danger braking?

Hello friends, I just wanted to ask you how satisfied you are with your Cupra. I am now after a few months of shared opinion. In itself I am very satisfied that car is driving well and that is also the main thing BUT I have rarely had such (though small) problems with a car before: Auto Cupra Leon VZ Hybrid 2 years old. First software error: The highway and traffic jam assistant is in combination with the front camera and another assistance Sy After 2 weeks after a software update I was lucky to leave. Almost every ride 5 times this annoying warning noise and 3 error messages in the display I did not find so great. Then the seat heating from the passenger does not work for a longer time… but is probably a hardware and no software error, so I will have to have it fixed soon with the friendly one. Is however included in the warranty nevertheless annoying. 3. Error: Loud banging noise in winter now handbrake is like frozen and I have to give some of the right gas to make progress. With narrow parking spaces in the city this is almost dangerous.. With the air pressure I probably had an alleged error message, from the gas station everything checked, but was more than ok. A little played around in the display and already it was gone, also unnecessary in my opinion. Can someone share these errors or have tips to fix it?

Hello together, was now repeatedly at the dealer, no real remedy. Have at the Formentor time and again software problems. At the dealer already two “major updates” were recorded. – recurring error message assistant X is not available – passenger airbag not active – return camera remains dark – Apple Car Play, screen remains dark – sound suddenly only through the speaker behind the screen – key does not set the associated profile when opening a who ha t such problems still and what should be done? Hello guys, I was allowed to pick up a Cupra Leon CUPRA LEON ST VZ 4DRIVE (310 HP) from the dealer in 09/2022. Just in the first week failure of the control for the panoramic roof. Some parts would still have to be fixed, like the cover in the A-pillar on the driver’s side, in the rear area the carpet cladding etc. so small things. This took 2 days. The appointment received 14 days because the control was not immediately available. I picked up the car from the workshop. The vehicle is standing in the workshop every month for about 1 week, because the systems fail over and over again, display goes off and on, failure of the sound generator in Cupra mode, carplay does not connect properly or lends the connection. Now the latest failure of the seat heating and a grinding when turning from the front area. New date is this week. The vehicle will (I hope not) be at the factory for 1 week. The vehicle has received several updates. Unfortunately without success! Gem. Werkstatt are now changing the ECUs. My conclusion: beautiful car, but too many defects in the electronics.

We’ve had a CUPRA Leon ST for 5 days. With Connectivy Box and Wireless Charger. Unfortunately, charging does not work without cable. The dealer said to make an appointment on September 26th for a whole day… Does anyone have the same problem, or even better, an adequate solution…

Hi together, I wanted to ask if jmd from the forum here, has had experiences with the Leon Cupra ST with 190 hp? Unfortunately, I don’t find any videos about this model with the engine at all. Can evt jmd tell me about the acceleration and driving feeling? Is a sports suspension installed in the car?Is there a car that currently uses the same engine? I’m already more the type who likes to drive sports and what can you feel when you tap on the gas. Unfortunately, the budget me in the company no longer here. Thank you for your answers

I’ve had a Cupra formtor for a few months and a key with remote control accordingly. It’s the same key that VW now has. What I noticed is that my remote control is unbelievably easy to get away from the emergency key. I wanted to know: Is this the case with you too? Because of course that’s what had to come.. it’s gone. I honestly don’t see how to pay for this problem myself. only to my key, but also to the spare key.

Hello together! A friend has a Cupra Born, which was delivered in January 2022. So far, the car has not received a single software update. We have now asked in the workshop whether there might be a problem and whether they can update the software in the workshop. However, the workshop said that the software is up to date in the car and there would be no updates for the car at the moment. Somehow it is difficult for me to believe that because I am in various forums and The car of my acquaintances has the software status 0796, which, to my knowledge, corresponds to a version 2.x. Therefore my questions: (1) Can it be that vehicles with software status 2.x have still not received an update to 3.x and there are known reasons for this? (2) Can the workshop really not record a new update or have they told nonsense? (3) How do the software levels that are displayed in the vehicle actually hang with the “landwide known” version numbers together? I.e. is there somewhere a kind of mapping like for example 0796 corresponds to version 2.4? (4) What is the current version and which version number should then be displayed in the vehicle?
