  • Skydome: sliding roof, electric. Defect !!! Maintenance? Maintenance?

Hello At my Fiat 500 year of construction / approval Nov.2012, according to Fiat contractual partner workshop diagnosis the right track is broken and the spring has torn … Costs 900.- incl. repair.(incl VAT??) A Kullanz application is made (expected result in 3 days) AAAABER: Fiat knows in felt ethic phone calls and chats and in the operating manual book that you should come all 30,000Km for maintenance/inspection. That is true in my case. hen Fiat500 with Skydome. The 30,000 Km maintenance/inspection or as it is always called, I had to make good at 30788 Km in Oct 2014 with the Fiat dealer. At the 30,000 Km … the points specified by Fiat are processed as zb disc water refill ! etc. WORK BY PLAN: there is no Skydome listed. But also no air conditioning … Hmm Also not in the operating manual book from page 160. Also when the day is handed over I asked again : I have to come back ? 30,000 have been confirmed. Well … as I wrote at the beginning , I have all possible contacts and NO ONE can tell me when and what to do with the Skydome from purchase to scrapping . There is probably no plan for it or is it maintenance-free ? With the air conditioning it is different , there is everyone informed . What does your Fiat contract partner do with the Skydome ?? Greeting Heike

  • Purchase advice Fiat 500

Hello everyone, I just signed up here because I need some support when choosing a Fiat 500. This should be for my mother and I’m doing a little bit hard. It should be a leg pin & switch that is not older than 2015. Special equipment should have panoramic roof, Bluetooth/MP3, navigation system and climate control. And I have a few questions: 1. Is the Fiat 500 switch the better choice? I read that the automatic is not correct, j But better than that of the Smart. The dealer advised me to the switch. 2. What is the Fiat navigation system like? Is it worth the extra charge or is a mobile navigator enough? 3. I assume, as with every car, that the air conditioning system is much more pleasant than the air conditioning system and you should definitely have it? 4. As I have noticed, there is no seat heating from the plant, can you retrofit it cost-effectively? If I have something else in equipment or especially on something a Thank you very much for your help.

  • 500S or lounge?

Hello to each other… My loyal Punto is supposed to give way to a 500 convertible next spring. Actually it was clear that it should be a black one with red top in the lounge version. Then came the facelift with these grotesque ugly squared seats and I was baffled But then… The 500S. Clearly more beautiful fabric seats in a sporty look and also otherwise he can quite be seen. Unfortunately no red top. Does not power anything, grey metallic with black roof go to the emergency. Then have I’m thinking, what would be the alternative to the caro seats in the lounge? Leather. The Poltrona woman is supposed to be so good, despite the lack of seat heating in winter not as cold as many others. But it is everywhere there that it is leather with leather replica. So, quasi partial leather? In what ratio is that to each other? Are the 1000 euros justified upwards if you don’t even get full leather for it? What scares me a little bit at the 500S with seats in black and white is the White insert in the door, whether it doesn’t get muddy quite quickly. There would be everything black in the lounge with leather (except for this holm above). The bad thing is, I like the emergency solution grey metallic with black cover meanwhile increasingly good although it was as said only an emergency solution… And now I can’t decide somehow… Lounge in black-red with leather or the S in gray-black with fabric seats. What would you like better? Need a few opinions, otherwise I will come Not at all forward

  • Change complete exhaust system

Hello, I have to change the exhaust systems on my daughter’s 500s. One problem is that the car is about 300km away. (Do I need special tools? Is there something where I have to pay particular attention to it?) I was told that I have to solve the rear axle to change the exhaust system(or have to let off) Next statement, for this car there is only one connected system. I find two and three-part systems for each online spare parts dealer. Has someone changed only the endtoprf? The exhaust on our 500s is actually one-piece and is torn off exactly before the endtoprf. My idea was to renew only the endtoprf. Does anyone have experience there? In advance already thank you for answers and suggestions. Nice greetings. Helmut. Oh yes our 500s is BJ.09-2013, 1.2l and 69PS

  • Car doesn’t start / wobble contact?

Hello, I drive a Fiat 500 0.9 TwinAir Turbo 85 hp and for a week I have had trouble starting the car. It’s not the battery, but a part of what is installed directly in front of the battery (see photo). If I wack it/it moves the position decides whether the central locking/other power supply in the car and starting the engine works. But it also seems to adjust again and again, so that I wrangle about it with almost every start. Unfortunately, I don’t know about cars, what do you call this part? Can you easily replace it yourself? (Doesn’t it seem so difficult for me to replace it?) Thank you in advance!

  • Fiat 500 retrofitting cruise control (Mod. 2016)

Hello, because I have not found any concrete contributions on the topic of Tempomat here or in other 500 forums, I would like to start here. Maybe someone has already successfully retrofitted and can give tips. Starting point: Fiat 500 69 PS (EZ: 29.12.2015 – Modell 2016) No Tempomat, no Limiter In various Fiat forums you can find one or other report, that with existing limiter the steering pole switch has to be changed and you have also the Tempomaten. Another report says that the cable for the steering pole switch was already available and only by installation / plugs the Tempomat function could be retrofitted. With eBay now for ~40,00 EUR a lever has been fired, one can try it out. Of course, with our 500er no plug is prepared. Now the question arises, how much effort (time/cost) the installation actually means, without at the Fiat-Stock-Stick a small fortune to burn it. I leave this here at times so. Evtl. has actually got some tips. Craft skills and technical understanding would be given. Otherwise I would like to contact the assembly unit.

  • Oil pressure tell-tale

Hello, if I turn on the ignition at our Twinair from 2010, the indicator for oil pressure and overtemperature is not on. I know this from all cars, that these lights are all visible once and then go out. Now the manual also says: Quotation: When turning the ignition key on MAR lights up the indicator lamp (for versions/markets, where provided) but must go out as soon as the engine starts. Can it be that for our model this is not intended? If these lamps don’t turn on, then it means that you don’t see it, for example, if the oil pressure is not right.

  • Fiat 500 1.2 8V long distance

A nice good evening! I’m new here in the forum and would like to have answered very urgently a question: my wife fell in love with a Fiat 500 1.2 Dualogic Lounge Bj.5/2008. He should only have been driven long distance and therefore already 100,000km behind him. He was regularly maintained and all important wear parts were changed: quote: “First possession, Tüv new everything repaired, tires, long distance vehicle was used by us as a pure commuter vehicle, it knows no city traffic, which of course has a positive effect on the condition. It is all repaired what can happen at this age so, because we had not planned to sell the car. However, because we have got a service car the vehicle is new. The following was carried out, invoices are included: works at KM Stand 99100 large inspection with tooth belt and other small things (1,240€) front wheel replaced (67€) tires (summer tires) renewed (65€) To get your truck new, brake discs/puffs/puffs are supplied: It is all repaired, which can otherwise be returned to you.
