  • Fiat Punto 188 1.2l 8V BJ 2002 – engine does not start after ZKD change (no spark)

Hello together, we changed the ZKD seal of my Punto today, after repair manual. As far as everything apart without problems and get together again. Now the car can not start again ( yesterday I could still start and drive without problems!). The starter works perfectly, however, the engine does not start. We could not do much error diagnosis anymore, because it then unfortunately became dark. Only so much: the spark plug of the very right cylinder did not generate sparks (have they screwed out and held to the engine block). If you start the ignition, one hears a surren – I assume that this is the petrol pump (…or?) Where could the problem lie? I would like to continue with the error search tomorrow and would be extremely grateful for helpful comments! 😉 Thank you very much and nice evening, Tom

  • Fiat Punto 188 1.2 16v Drive PLEASE MEETING!

Hello guys, did I ever want to ask you a question that you’ve heard a thousand times, but since the opinions go so far apart and I’m still not smarter I ask you here Does someone know how low-touring you can drive with the 1.2 16v? I sometimes drive like this: switch at 2000 rpm And for example speed 30 in the fourth course at approx. 1100 rpm or 40/50 in the 5th at 1.2-1.400 rpm Would that be too low-touring and therefore bad for the engine? How do you drive your Punto?

  • Battery replacement at Punto 199 (1.2 8V from 2013)

Hello, what kind of battery do I need there (40, 50 or how much Ah?) and do you have to pay attention to something? Do you need the code for the radio (I didn’t!) or do you need to relearn the keys etc.? Or just get out the old battery and the new one in, done?

  • Rim lock, nut lost. Fiat Uno

Good day together, no Uno forum found, so I try it here. Fiat Uno, rim lock nut got lost. Someone an idea how to open the rim lock? Adapters/help tools/crackers are enough, but which would be suitable for this lock type? Image included. I am grateful for tips and hints.

  • Fiat Grande Punto passing beam does not go out

Hello, my problem with my Punto is that I can’t turn off my dipped-beam. At first it was that when I flashed to the left the dipped-beam went on until the flashing was over. Then it went off. After a few weeks, however, the dipped-beam is permanently on and can’t turn it off and switch to the daytime running light, so my controller is without function. If I turn off my engine, the light is also completely off. Only if I want to drive off or the engine is arte is permanently on. What can it be about? Since I also have to go to the TÜV there would be a small additional question if I could still come through the TÜV despite this or if I should have it fixed first. • Fiat grande Punto 1.3 timing belt change

Hi guys, I changed the crankshaft-simmerring at my Fiat Punto (BJ 2007, 1.3). After I had re-assembled the timing belt with the adjustment tool, I started the engine. It ran round and without any problems. However, when I drove on the highway, I suddenly had power loss. I read out the fault memory with my Delphi diagnostic device, and the error P0011 (phase controller, sporadic) was displayed. After I reset the engine values, Now the indicator light flashes permanently, and the error has changed to P1300. Can someone tell me what to do now? I can’t get any further.

  • Motor RlRuns rough while driving. MKL is out.

Hello. I have here a Punto 1.2 8v 60ps Bj 12003 It runs in idle run quite unevenly When driving it dwindles from time to time but above the 2,000 revolutions it goes quite well to drive. Now I took down the air filter box and the spark plug plugs were plugged off I could determine that in the first cylinder was installed other candle than in the other 3 Add to this also the on the 3rd cylinder a different ignition cable plug. I have now ordered new candles and cables Kön could that be the solution? On the 3rd cylinder a cable with a long shaft was plugged on it. On the other cable were on it with a short shaft. Mfg

  • Fiat Punto Cooling – at the edge of desperation

Hello, I’m in despair… For weeks I’ve been trying to solve the problem on the GP 1.2 8V without any climate in vain. It started at some point with the vehicle being overheated and under pressure, a plastic connector on the thermostat gave in so first thermostat and temperature sensor switched to thoughtfully – ventilated motor running warm, see there nothing goes on – upper cooler hose for the small circuit is hot the lower remains cold fan jumps despite own temperature not on, so pull off relays and quickly starts with a cable ”bridge” fan?? Relay then I switched, believe with that of the ignition works – at least the ignition. Temperature sensor is apparently OK, if the temperature indicator in the BC changes and displays realistic values. Heating works, so WaPu is also OK or not? fuses are also all in order. I really don’t know what I could/should/must look for, if about decisive and above all fast tips grateful, stand with the laptop at the car and am just extremely confused.. LG
