Hello, My girlfriend drives a Fiat 500 Lounge (EZ 04.2016) Twinair 105PS Lounge with the small 5-bit radio without a Navi but with DAB. From the beginning she used the Uconnect live app. Until about 2 weeks ago, the app and all services worked perfectly. Since then, when the app is opened, only the self-set photo of the car appears. Other functions are no longer available. In the app there was a short hint window. In the sense that the services were expired and you should activate them again on the Uconnect website. On the website however, there is no way to do this!? Does anyone know the problem ?

Rust Underside Fiat 500
Hello dear people, could you look at the picture jmd. and tell me to what extent the shown rust (though certainly only superficially) is “normal” for a 5 year old Fiat 500? Was a bit terrified when I looked under my wife’s car. Thank you very much.

Has anyone ever done this successfully? Or has a link described what needs to be set as where by MUS, so that all systems work properly with the new 7″?

Side difference after lowering
After one day (about 100km) I measured my 500 with the Eibach ProKit (30/30) lower. That’s okay, but I’ve got 10mm difference between right and left. On the right it’s 40mm lower, on the left it’s almost 50mm lower. Is this going to work with the time and then it’s the same, or did they build shit? With the spring quality of Eibach, it seems strange to me, especially the difference between right and left. In the measurement, the car was unloaded and I also did the counter-test at different parking positions in order to exclude terrain influence.

which engine oil for 500L twin air?
The car of my friend needs about 0.5 liters of oil at 1500 km. Is that normal?. I drive another factory and this consumption seems a bit much to me. How is the exact designation of the right oil for the 500 L ? What alternatives are there ? And another question: the oil level is difficult to read on the amber measuring rod. Is there a trick here ? I have seen that the installer in the workshop rubs the lower measuring area with something like chalk so that the oil level becomes more visible. Rudi

Timing belt tension
Hello community, I’ve been waiting for a 2002 punto 188, 1.2 8V 60 hp. Have recently replaced the timing belt, including the clamping roller and water pump, because I don’t know when the last time was done. Before I did that, I had the old timing belt a bit strained, because I have such a dull ratter in thrust mode, which sounds as if rubber is beating against plastic. The noise is however speed dependent, not speed dependent. Because of the clamping said noise has not disappeared, however, but there was such a kind of metal looping, as soon as the engine gets warm. The noise is heard in idle run and as soon as the engine has gone off when gas is given. So it’s not continuous. Well, I thought that either the WaPu (storage) or the clamping roller will be broken. So then again, I’ve got a little bit of punishment.

FIAT Grande Punto (199) Engine control unit IAW 5SF9.AE defective?
Hello guys, with my Fiat Grande Punto Benziner, BJ 2014, type 199 (60.000KM), the engine control unit seems to be broken. ÖAMTC has already read it out with the result ignition oscillation on one of the four cylinders. Cables and ignition coils have also been exchanged without positive result. Now there was unfortunately no pickerl anymore since the exhaust values do not fit in idle (runs also a bit restless). Now my question: What possibilities are there to replace or repair this without the workshops fee of believe that was to cover the 1200 euro. lg to all helpers 🙂

Problem With Rugging Motor
So, for a long time now, there has been a problem with my Fiat Punto Van 1.2 60. The engine is very slow after that. When I press on the gas it stops again. However, the car also accelerates much slower than before, so it can’t be driven properly, when driving backwards it jerks even more strongly. I had this checked with such a motor device and there it was due to the spark plugs. They were renewed, and see, running again, I thought… After 20 min driving the same problem again. Did the car stop, after a few hours drive again and it ran again 20-25 min and then it went off again. So when the car is cold, everything seems to run great, but after a time it starts with the jerking and the “not accelerating” , so that always comes together. Could it be lying on the cable of the ignition plugs? Does anyone have any idea if it could be anything else?
