  • DS 7 Original rim Tokyo 20 inch with 245 ern

    Hello together, in February it should then be delivered the DS 7 “BE CHIC”. I decided for the 20 inch Tokyo and would like to equip it with 245/45 R20 (original are 235/45 R20) as full-year tires. Has anyone already done this, or has someone put the rim on it ex works and can tell me if only the 235 are registered? The reason lies here in the procurement. ….. I find no 235er as full-year tires. And please don’t let us know about the meaning or Unsi nn of all-year tires write, that is often done enough in other contributions It is also the case that if my project works you would also have a larger selection of summer/winter tires, here it may be worthwhile to enter the subsequent one.

  • DS4: Total failure Navi!

    Good morning, My great joy in my new DS4 has been quite clouded since last night… And that’s when the navigator or the entire system, including all the music functions and parking beepers, doesn’t wake up anymore. Every few seconds the Citroen logo flashes up in the display, the CD drive turns up for a short time and then there’s nothing again. Pressing all the buttons, restarting the engine, letting it stand overnight didn’t bring anything. My garage said I had to pass the car. and leave it there all day long (!) great. And that after a proud 2500km… Did someone experience something similar or even know a solution? Is there any way in which I can perform a hard reset using a button combination at best?     After 10 months I’ve had enough of this car…… The tacho is still clapping, the workshop just can’t handle it. What bothers me the most is the sitting position and the steering. If you sit correctly, upright the handballs on the top of the steering wheel, then the legs take a frog-like posture, which becomes very uncomfortable in the long run and properly does not allow you to operate the pedals. If I sit that the legs are comfortable, I hold the steering wheel with I have no oversize or undersize…just 177 cm. My girlfriend with 162 sits well. The steering………on the highway is way too easy. You tear away when you drive over uneven ground. The result is a shady indifferent steering behavior. Radio/Navi unit…..total grütze. Constant dropouts when you stream with Bluetooth. The small wheel on the right of the steering wheel is way too easy. You skip transmitters and if you wait a little bit too long spri DAB reception….who released something like that. Basically it goes into the FM reception then after a while jumps into the DAB EMPfang…you listen to the last 3 seconds of the FM reception again. Constant loss of the signal and thus switch back and forth between DAB and FM. The car looks nice on the outside as well as inside but the technology fails considerably. Today I gave the car with loss at Audi in payment and me a ne ouen A3 leased. Servus….

  • Charging times DS7 Crossback E-Tense 300 4×4

    Hello together, I have now since Tuesday my first DS7 and even my first hybrids. I have a question about charging times: According to the manufacturer: the vehicle can be loaded with 7,4kw the fastest. Supposedly 1:45 std. Volladde. Jz. I tried out the first charging stations and a Volladde always runs with 3:30 std. As if it was only 3,7kw. How do you get it that the car and charging station charge with 7,4kw. As a charging cable I use the original DS Charging cable for public columns.   • First exit and straight to Italy. The report:

    Purchased a good week ago ( DS4 LA PREMIERE E-TENSE ) and then drove 912 km on the way to Lake Garda. Here a first summary, written in a deck chair. We drove away with full battery and arrived with empty battery. The recuperation worked in sports mode felt best. Were always on the road in hybrid mode and thus came to 5.3 liters. We are satisfied with long distance. Our hotel has a wallbox, it always hangs when we are not driving. Shorter distances, like Malcesine – Riva – Malcesine we have driven purely electric. Free, so to speak. NIGHT VISION What else would be worth mentioning, a short experience report about the Night Vision. I noticed that it works differently in the tunnel than thought. It generally does not turn on in the dark, it does at night, but during the day in the dark only when cyclists are recognized. Also with motorcyclists the screen does not switch to Night Vision. CA R PLAY Works wirelessly, but not quite perfect. Maybe has something to do with the Internet connection from the mobile phone. Shortly before returning to the hotel in the evening, the CarPlay didn’t let itself be switched on. Hmmm, we never had that with the DS3. But overnight the thing fixed itself again. Okay …. here still a few pictures. Will update my experiences further.
