Hello! I’m new here at the Fiat Forum and would be happy if you could help me with my decision-making. I’m currently driving a Mercedes GLK 220 CDI with 7-speed automatic transmission, but it’s gradually becoming too expensive for me in the entertainment and I don’t need such a big car anymore. What’s important to me is: increased sitting position, low maintenance costs, nice design, automatic transmission and as much leather seats as possible. I love the special model Dolcevita, does anyone have experience with it? What do I have to pay attention to? Thank you very much! Antje

Costs of 2nd maintenance
The Fiat 500 (1.2 l, 69 hp, manual transmission, EZ 12.2015, currently 36,900 km) was due for the 2nd maintenance. As the 2-year warranty had expired, I had the vehicle serviced in my Freie Werkstatt. For interested parties, the costs here were: Total wage of 169 Euros Total material 143 Euros Total maintenance 312 Euros In addition, the wipers were to be renewed: In addition, the air conditioning system had almost 300 g too little refrigerants. According to the master, an escape of about 100 g per year i m standard frame, so a leak test on the 2.5-year-old vehicle was foregone: All-in about 432 euros all data including VAT

Fiat 500: When to inspect?
Hello, after I have already tried the search without success, I ask my question now here, and hope to get a suitable answer. My Fiat 500 is in my possession in the meantime a year. The vehicle was bought as a day registration, first registration was January 2010. Now after a year there are almost 7000km on the tacho. When does the little one now have to be inspected? I mean to have heard somewhere from an annual inspection, but in the manual are always only in tervalle of 30000km. Does any of you know when I should be inspected and what costs are there? Thank you very much. Greetings, Felix.

Fiat 500 Twinair high fuel consumption
Hello I am looking for more Fiat 500 Twinair drivers who are also angry with the high fuel consumption. With my cars I am currently at 8.2 liters in Eco mode According to Fiat this is normal and from Fiat no need for action. According to the brochure, however, the car should consume in the third mix 4.0 liters. This serious deviation of over 100 percent is unacceptable, especially with the current fuel prices. That was also my purchase argument for this car. l the Fiat with the Twinairmotor developed a sprite-eater and now irons off the angry customers. With such methods Fiat does not create a satisfied clientele.

Car only for three weeks and already heavily annoyed…
I bought a 500L on 11.11., used with EZ 04/14 at a used car dealer. I have already done very hard to separate myself from my age-old Agila, but then was really happy with the Fiat. However, this stopped now only a few days. On the second ride I suddenly had the cuff of the gear stick in my hand, so the jacket. I found that on the plasti The dealer was rather grumpy when I sent him an e-mail with photos of the broken part and said that it hadn’t been before. He already annoyed me directly, because I just took two rides with the car and had a completely normal switching behaviour. Anyway, he has ordered this part for me now and I can pick it up from him. Since week, I have been working with him. 2 squeaks now additionally the brake, which can happen more often than not, if cars have been standing for a long time (the car was probably from September until my purchase at the dealer). Well, I hope so before every ride, that the squeaking becomes less, but instead the clutch is also squeaking now, if you let it go. This car drives me crazy and I have it just 3 weeks. For three days now “on top: there I put a I have to say that I listen to the radio almost never, because I usually have the kids in the car and then it’s just too loud for me. So I found it more or less by chance now and would like to put the car in front of the dealer’s door again and have my money back again. The dealer has given me a great deal of credit for it. och gave a premium guarantee about Intec, which is valid for a year, but I’m afraid that I can’t achieve much with the defective speaker. Maybe someone has similar problems with its 500L? I was so happy when I found the car and now I’m really just annoyed that I spent so much money on this car and have the feeling that I was somehow cut over my ear for all the defects 🙁

Air conditioning shuts down after a few minutes when outside temperature is approx. 25°C
Hello together, For some time now the air conditioning of the Musa 2007 1.3 Multijet 90 HP is switched off when the outside temperature is very high. Sorry the question also in the FIAT forum because Musa and IDEA are almost identical. The 2-zone air conditioning goes on convection air and stays there. After a few minutes wait the air conditioning can be restarted (see the running belt wheel). Climate service was carried out to ensure the correct coolant level. The workshop said it w äre the compressor – costs in CH approx. CHF 1200 for the compressor (which I can’t believe). Who knows the topic ? Think it might be due to the dryer, pressure switch or sunlight sensor, as the compressor runs at least 10 minutes without problems.

Fiat Punto, workshop service and too small battery
Hello, I have a little problem and since I don’t have much idea of cars myself (typical woman just ), I hope that someone can answer my question here. Actually, the problem is more or less solved, I would only like to have opinions about it. And this is about the following: I bought a used, 11-year-old Fiat Punto from a workshop in September 2014. Had only 58 000km and many was new. Now I had problems already in December with the battery: there were problems at the start and I had to start my car once, so in the second gear roll down the mountain and let the clutch come. When I then went to the workshop it was said that it was nothing, only the battery would weaken a little bit, but not enough to do something. Now I wanted to drive to work last week, then my car suddenly didn’t jump at all (I drove with it the day before and it had 20 °C, so that was it I didn’t want to tow my workshop on 50km and they didn’t give me a remote diagnosis either. A friend then said, after I tried out a few things, that’s definitely the battery and gave me starter help. I then drove with all warning lights and without brake amplifiers, etc. to the workshop. They then changed the battery as trigger. However, the new battery is a little bit small and fixed with the help of a wooden block, so that it does not slip, because probably “Fiat batteries have a certain size, but it can also be done with this construction”. I was calculated now almost 70€ for the battery and 30€ service although I still have guarantee. Now to my question: Is this really okay with the battery and would I come with it also by the TÜV? And are the costs justified, where I nevertheless exchange up to the battery itself or my own. Friend had to do everything? Greetings and thanks for your answers

Punto with engine revolving, poor gas acceptance and illuminated tell-tale
Hello Comunity, have a big problem with my loyal Punto. It started that I was refueling and the engine didn’t get started. After trying several then went. Had on the highway and ignition dropouts And luminous motor control light that went off and on. Then I switched ignition cables ignition coils spark plugs and it went again. Just this control light always stayed out and goes on. I switched ot enger on it because there was a cable break and from some The main pump relays also went on. I changed the air temperature sensor, coolant temperature sensor, map sensor plus hose without success. The problem remains, the motor control light goes on and off, and the car is partly running at the gas. The funny thing about the whole thing is that as soon as I turn on the light the control light disappears and the car runs out of time to jerk well. I drive without light. He doesn’t run well and doesn’t take good gas. In addition, this lamp always lights up. BittrPlease help me….
