  • Just a horny car

Hi, so if I read through the threads here, I seem to have a very special copy of a C-MAX. I have mine with 1.8l petrol engine, FUN edition in Jeans Blau for exactly three months now and not the slightest problems. There’s nothing (that’s why I’m very sensitive), it doesn’t go out almost when the climate is switched on (but it’s a manual one), yes, it just fits everything. Of course, I don’t want to shout anything and hope it stays that way. So you see, it’s also different! Greetings Oli

  • No on-board computer with Fun and Ambiente – but connection does?

I noticed something strange at the Ford Focus Fun (and at Ambiente). Why does this variant not have the possibility to purchase a computer on board? At the same time, the connection (whose savings are expressed in relation to the ambience in the brochure) has such a standard. Is this a printing error in the brochure for Ambient and Fun or is there other reasons that these models cannot be given a computer on board, the connection (which also exactly o how ambient and fun still allows the 80hp engine) but already? [and a temperature and consumption indicator should not be such an exclusive accessory that you have to take a much more expensive equipment variant for this]

  • C-Max: First hardness test

Hello, We were now with our C-Max with the family in Carinthia. Fully loaded with 2 adults, 2 children, luggage to under the roof and 12V cooler. He brought us back wonderful time and again. Then we drove over the Katschbergpass. No problem with the 109 diesel hp. On the last day we passed the Nassfeldpass to Italy. This was mainly in the 3rd gear at 1500-2000 rpm, without excessive effort. The engine power is completely sufficient for solo operation and there When I think of our old TD with 90hp, there was hardly anything going on under 2000 revolutions. I was surprised by the consumption: highway to behind Salzburg: 5,63 average Over Katschberg, some other passes up and still something in Carinthia was dwindling (with the 10000km hurdle exceeded): 5,39 (Agip refueled for 99,4ct!!!!) Still about 200km drove, of which the track over Nassfeldpass and then filled for the home journey: 5,27 (Esso however for 102,9 ct) I drove 60km with 3.9 liters of fuel consumption lt BC. At the last two refuellings I noticed that the indicated range is now over 1100 km. After 100 KM the range is still at 999 km. All consumptions are lt tank receipt. Now on my way home I have 4,9 lt BC. Up to Munich there were 4,5, but then AC and higher speeds have done something more. Have now driven 780 km and a residual range of 260 km. Conclusion : The minx has a wonderful and economical engine. We are so far very satisfied!!!!

  • Focus ST.. Quit with cold engine possibly from the turbo?!.! Please for help!

Hello! I’ve been getting a new Focus ST since a few weeks..! He has now about 1800km down and I was already at the oil change so that I can really give gas as well prescribed!!! But now I have a problem that he squeaks when starting the engine when it’s cold!!! If I have pulled the car up 2-3 times that’s already gone again..! Nervt only that when it’s cold and I start him then he squeaks and sounds stupid..! my workshop m I agreed that this comes from the turbo but they don’t know what it is and that it will eventually go away again! Maybe another one has the problems and can help me?! Thanks in the vorrus!

  • You need your support!

First of all a hello here in the Focus community! I don’t want to reveal my car stories at this point, because unfortunately far too much in this area has run out of control and I want to finally come to my senses…only from the financial I need a practical everyday car, with which I can get anywhere! If the BMW sales will hopefully work in the foreseeable future, the following two variants should be in my purchase intention:Focus II Tournament F ocus C-MaxMotors: Diesel I have already informed myself a little bit about this and it should probably become one of them: 1.6er/1.8er/2.0er TDCI – however if possible with soot filter – and that is exactly what is currently even more difficult out… but have already found a few copies in the car exchanges. My questions now at a glance: a) In which design do I get a mountain bike completely pure without large disassembly (okay, if ́s front wheel has to get out, no problem)? b) which of the two is the “Current”, i.e. from the technical point of view, or are both of them equally up? c) which motorization is sufficient for both variants? d) are there certain points for used people, which must be taken into account (sorry, unfortunately only had an old Fiesta 1.1 as the first car so far)? My budget is probably about 15,000-17.000 – depending on how much I still get for my coupé. I already say thank you in advance for your help!

  • Consumption of diesel FOFO I+II on BAB

Hello, since I will soon rewind about 30tkm/year, I think to switch to a diesel. How is the use of the respective diesel at 100km/h and at 130km/h? According to the FOFOI brochure, the difference between my 1.6 and a diesel in this range would be max. 1.5L/100km. I consume at 100km/h 6.5 and at 130km/h 7.0L. Then a change would not be worthwhile, as my car is only two years old and I would have a value loss of over 5tsd EUR, which would not more to enter.

  • Help! Buy what Focus??

Hi, I want a focus and the dealer of my trust has three models that I have taken into the short choice. Can you tell me something about price/performance? How would you decide? I drive about 8000 KM /year mainly city. Diesel would then run out of +- 0 after my bill. I am already testing the tournament and the diesel. The tournament was for my terms the more beautiful driving feeling, although the diesel was a bit more splashy but somehow rougher and louder What I noticed negatively are the standard seats. I felt much more comfortable in the sports seats. I haven’t driven the sports limosine yet, but he doesn’t have an ESP, which somehow annoys me. At the prices the dealer does not want to do anything with any of the vehicles, which exceeds 500 EUR. Here are the three cars:Number 1 Number 2 Number 3 Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Ford Focus C-Max (problems about problems)

I bought a Ford Focus C-Max 2.0 TDCi Ghia (136hp) about a 3/4 year ago! Currently KM stand 28 000. At first I was satisfied with the car, but then the problems started!!!! I also switched on the lawyer now!!! Interfering noises in the interior: Amature board, center console, nicking driver seat, radio cover, belt, seals,……! Engine dropouts! Light swings!!! Brake assistants problems! Recall action due to rear windscreen wiper engine! Radio spins ö fters! and, and, and the list of defects is as long as it is to despair! The company has already fixed many of the defects, but there are always new ones on and it seems to take no end!! Would like to read from you comments, whether this is an individual case, as the company says, or whether the C-Max is a common problem car. Would I be happy about many comments, as I want to get on the toes of the company!!!!!!

  • quick down/up

hello, drive the focus ghia tournament. with me on the driver side the quick down/up function is defective, i.e. the windows no longer drive automatically, but I have to hold the button. thus I can no longer close the window per fb. I was told that the engine is defective. I have now found an interesting article at ebay. however, the actuator comes from a three doorr. can I still use it? quick down/up has the focus on the driver side d Here’s the link: http://cgi.ebay.de/…1619QQihZ015QQcategoryZ38729QrdZ1QQcmdZViewIt’s just the engine, not the complete window lifter system. But as far as I know, only the motor contains this quick up/down technology, right? mfg markus
