Hello people have recently brought me a FOFO EZ 04/2003! It is one with Ghia equipment and a 1.8 TDCI engine with 115 hp! As I could read here but so in the forum many people are not so very happy with it (spans in fuel oil etc.) Since I love my car please don’t tell me that e.g. a fucking pump nozzle engine from VW is more durable than a TDCI! I mean the car has only run 70000 but I’m afraid that with soon the engine died! ok he still has guarantee but yet what is after the guarantee? does one of you have a TDCI engine with 115 hp that has already run around the 200000 KM and can you tell me what problems you had with it?

Hello, Now the whole thing is in cloths. The C-Max is now ordered with 109 hp, the old Escort taken in payment. So now I want to report a bit more in detail: In August I was with our Essi ́(98 TD Combi with 165000km) at various dealers in the area. From 700.- to 2400.- the Essi was taxied at payment (without examination). Offer for C-Max Futura with Metallic under calculation of the old: 19000.- Then in September the complete rust from the bottom we In the meantime, apart from the defective compressor for the climate, the transmission in the 3rd gear has become scratchy. I handed the two things to the seller with the best offer (2400.-) yesterday, with the indication that I had a good used offer (which was also true, but without VAT-proof was not so attractive to us, which I did not tell of course). So new offer: C-Max Fun, plus Xenon, plus Metallic, plus extra charge for Sony radio, plus Fun Package, plus Winterrei fen for 19500.- The car has the same equipment as the Futura, plus Xenon, plus Tempo-Mat, plus 2 zones climate. The value of the Essi was then only 1800.-, with new winter tires, but the defective gearbox and now 173000 on the clock. He calculated with 180000 until the new one is there. An import ghia with the additional equipment is at 21200.- If I then pull off for the old 2000.- I do not lie much below and the Futura version did not exist with the Sony, which was then just over 20000.-. There would be a price difference of 800.- always provided I get for the old with broken gear still my 2000.-. A dealer nearby is then worth the 600.- -700.- difference. Never again Ford
My girlfriend was looking for a low-cost, small convertible. The VW Eos and the Ford Focus came into question… The decision then fell on a focus with the 136 hp diesel for 32,000 €. Focus II 1.6l – Engine sometimes (!) does not start!
Hello, I have the following problem: If I want to warm up the engine and start again a few minutes later, it sometimes does not start. The starter spins, but does not start with anything. After 1-2 attempts and about 2-3 minutes wait, it starts again without any problems. Was already in the workshop, but they could not find anything. Who has a tip? It happens several times a day, sometimes it runs for 2-3 weeks completely without problems. ?????? Thank you! Harry

Question about rim size
Hello guys, I still have winter tires on steel rims from Focus in the basement. On the 4hole rims the designation 5 1/2JX14x47,5 has been applied. Is 47,5 a measure for the hole circle? Didn’t I find in the rim FAQ… Which cars do they still fit? Only Ford? Will they get rid of and don’t know who I can offer them to… Thanks and Greeting, Snug

Dispute over guarantee
Hello together! I have the following problem: my Ford Focus 2.0 TDCI replaced the turbocharger – on guarantee as it was initially said. To this end, last year in February I bought the car from dealer A with a Ford Protect Garatnie 3 years, max. 60,000 kilometers. Last year an AGR valve was exchanged on guarantee. The replacement of the turbocharger happened at dealer B. 3 times I asked if the thing is handled via the warranty. 3 times this was done. After the repair (one week later) the workshop manager called and said that the warranty was not valid, as the first maintenance was not done. The first maintenance much more in the time when dealer A used the car as a demonstration car. Dealer A has now talked to dealer B and made it clear to him that the car was logged off at the time when it was standing at it as a demonstration car and the maintenance interval was delayed accordingly – in this case the maintenance was at 18,000 After 1.5 years instead of 1 year. Somehow I get rid of both sides. On the one hand, dealer B did not check in advance whether the damage is actually handled on guarantee. Now he wants to have coal without telling me before that I had to pay. Dealer A would have also picked up the car free of charge and repaired it on guarantee. Now dealer B starts an inquiry at Ford in Cologne, whether a vehicle is standing at the dealer and logged off i On the other hand, dealer A has sold me a car with a warranty that does not seem to be accepted by all Ford workshops. The warranty is even included in the purchase contract. How should I behave now? The repair would cost 1700 euros! Does dealer A have to pay the repair costs in case of an emergency? Mounting points Roof beams
I bought a roof support from Ford for my Focus II (3-door, built in 2007) and wanted to fix it today. The instructions say that before the first installation at the mounting points on the roof you have to remove the sealing mass in the area of the threaded holes at the front and back. I removed the slip-off plates, but underneath there are no threaded holes, any dimming material that covers the roof, I can’t see. Ford has there at the Focus over the last year. I can’t screw the bolts with the roof.

Buy C-Max 1.6 TDCI Trend in 04/2004 – shortly noticed that seat covers are replaced by short+folders passenger seat, flaps B-pillar, doors snare – attempt door rubbers with silicone: without success (O.E.) – seat covers : i.o., new seat cushion passenger: o.E., belt adjuster padded: o.E. – lid card compartment warps, “what comes from Ford” waiting – dashboard frizzy on the front window, “something underlaid” , partly i.O – cover B-pillar outside hangs half away (after repair), defrosted schecht, now i.o. – again attempt to get B-pillar quiet, o.E. – again snoring of the dashboard – seat attachment passenger has been re-screwed, now i.o. – B-pillar becomes quieter 🙂 – clumping in the engine compartment/front axle: cover padded below.E., hoses and cables fixed.E., shock absorber replaced.E., rubber damper replaced: finally i.o. – clutch pedal knarze: lubricated:i.o. – passenger seat kärzt again – button for rear flap lock without function, replacement, i.o. Ak tuell: – Radio spins (does not store frequ. anymore, no alternative frequ.) – Cover under the windscreen wipers is warped/lighter, was dismantled during repair of the rubber buffer, but is probably not made for it. – Knarten dashboard in the area of the front window – passenger seat crunches If the box would not drive so great (toi toi toi), then I would have set it on fire!!! I’ve already invested so much time, never happened to me in a new car. all brands have problems, also VW (see Forum Touran :-)) ) Will take care of my “intensive patient”, as long as he drives.
