Hello in dezember got my new Focus ST in this orange. Had a few paint defects on it like e.g. on the tank lid and at the edges of the two door handles. They were removed however directly. It looked as if the paint was too thin at these places. Did anyone else notice such defects on his ST?

Hello, I’m just reading through the various contributions to the Ford Focus, but I’m now ripped back and forth and a little bit unsure.The following: My beloved Fiat Tipo now unfortunately blesses the time and the choice with a successor has fallen due to various magazines (used car information), Internet research, maintenance costs and purchase on a Ford Focus Combi, preferably diesel. Somehow the journalists who research so, but your forum doesn’t seem to be t to know, at the moment I’m not so sure if this is really a good decision…. It should be a used one – we have a dog and a new car I don’t want to suck in*sigh* After what I’ve read so far, the TDCI seems to be the better choice than the TDI. We have an offer about a Focus Futura TDCI 1.8 with 115 HP, EZ 03/04, 100,000 km for approx.8,500 EUR, checkbook maintained etc. The following questions: Is the offer ok? What are the shortcomings with cars of this age and this mileage more frequently? What should have been done with this car in any case in exchange etc. (running performance 100,000 km). There is another offer – a Focus Futura TD with 90 ps, almost 1 year older (EZ 04/03), 76,000 km for approx. 1.000 EUR cheaper. Would that be a better choice? Otherwise also above questions apply…;-) Then in advance – I don’t have so much idea about the car purchase and at all. My cars have I always bought through friends/known/former company cars etc., would now be the first time by a dealer. But at least I can read *g*, so the problem threads here have already made me very unsure. Thanks already! Greetings, Gaby

Hi, I know this topic has already been discussed here. Nevertheless, I think it would make sense to split the Focusforum into a subforum for the Focus I and the Focus II + C-Max. I think there would be enough traffic in both forums that would justify such a measure, the forum would also be clearer. At the moment I drive a VW Polo with 75 ps….bin student (=not much money) and annoy me every time again at the tank how much the box swallows….have now possibly the possibility to exchange my polo (flow capacity approx. 128tkm) for a ford focus 1 tournament with the 1.8 diesel (75hp). This one has a running power of only 103tkm. how much swallows the so and you think that would be n good exchange? so also in matters of driving dynamics. that the focus is not a racer with a 75ps diesel is me clear but the question is whether for all day long or if I will be disappointed compared to my polo of the driving performances. Hey mates! I would like to have the complete maintenance costs for the new ST! Here are: Insurance Tax Consumption Tyre prices (how good is the standard tyres) Customer service How are your experiences on the race track so far? are there already which ones were on the ring or Hockenheim? Ever measured a Vmax with GPS? acceleration times 0-100 and more important 100-200? How does it last from about 210km/h? I guess by the slightly larger cylinder capacity a little more efficient, or ? CW-value? reason for these questions: I have a Honda Civic Type-R (see signature) and am just thinking if I should exchange it for a ST. It’s not as expensive in maintenance as my Type-R as I see it to date, but it must be more boring to drive… because it’s not a speed-dicksau, let alone puristic!

I once again – (who else?) I would like to share an experience. After I had given my Ti-VCT instead of Super Benzin SuperPlus out of a “tempered” two weeks ago (just give him the good fabric), I noticed something then: The consumption indicator of my BC, which had fed itself over the winter due to rides with light, heating, windscreen wiper etc. on a consumption value between 8 and 8.5 liters, inserted a galloping reverse movement. h 2x Tankfüllung SuperPlus I caught her finally jumping secretly on 7.5ltr/100km – and that without previous reset of the last value! Now I wanted to know it. Refueled again, again SuperPlus, this time consumption indicator set back and observed the following days with eagle eyes. It is now at 6.6ltr/100km and I have not changed my driving mode… . Since I observed my fuel consumption based on the tank receipts and the driven kilometers e (Unfortunately, the BC is not exactly!) it turns out that I now consume a whole litre at 100 kilometers of WENIGER. Range Tank filling = 650 -700km = 6.5 liters saved = (6,5ltr x 1,30€) = 8.45€ Additional costs SuperPlus = 0,06€/ltr = (50ltr x 0,06€) = 3,00€ 8,45€ – 3,00€ = 5.45€ Savings per tank filling. Now I ask you: Isn’t that worth at least one thought?

Hello together, has one of us already installed another Navi in his Focus II or even ST (Kenwood or Alpine)? Are there pics of it? If yes, have the boxes been changed? What about the connection to the CAN bus, is a Dietz adapter enough? Where did you hide the Navicomputer (e.g. Kenwood)? Where does the GPS antenna go? Am I really hard to think about whether I should order my ST with or without Navi, who can help? Huh thanks, Greeting Birdmaster

Hello together! With our new C-Max the special equipment “Heatable windshield” ordered by us was not delivered. According to the dealer a retrofit is technically not possible and it therefore offers us in addition to refund of the surcharge (self-evidently) a discount still to be negotiated… – How far can I trust the statement regarding the not possible retrofit? – What a discount is possible or usual in such cases? Hello! I have an offer available for nen Focus.He has already 200,000 km, however, is from the dealer, i.e. I have 1 year warranty and the timing belt and everything else is also made. Is that ok then? HI! I find it to be a puke…. Since I buy the somewhat expensive lamps of Ph…. because they make a cool light, but so far I was more than happy with it, but I have now needed within 4 months 3 lamps. first came (I believe in Oct.) the left lamp. so bought again (22€) then shortly before the holiday came the right , again (22€). now I turn on the light, it goes on and starts again the left one away. is that normal??? will probably measure the voltage as soon as possible.
