If I want to buy a Ford KA as a second car, I now have the following offer: Year of construction 09.01, approx. 100,000km run, stacked, black-metallic from the dealer with warranty approx. 4200 Euro. Is the price ok or should you rather look further? To be honest, I found nothing better and older models are rather discouraged. Please tell me what you think about it!

Hello, my Ka Futura EZ 05/01, 55,000km, has recently developed a preference for workshop stays, needed e.g. completely new brakes, now the compressor of the A/C has broken and the axle cuff is marode, so should be renewed soon. Besides, the little one starts to rust slowly, e.g. at the window buttons. Does this go on and on now? I’m not really so willing, every year beside the costs of wear parts (tires special size!) still 500-70 0 € for workshop costs. What are the experiences?

My problems with my KA !!! Need help!!! Hello first of all I signed up in this forum to get rid of my problems with my Ford Ka and often get a par solution! First of all to KA: Year of construction: 97, 1,3L, 60PS Normal 95PS ATM, K&N Sportluffilter, K&W coilover suspension, sharpened Nokkenshaft, fan manifold DTM Sport Auspuff, E2 Norm, 195,45,R14 Alu’s 1. Problem: The car goes when it’s a little colder or wet out and you hold the clutch a little longer we If you want to switch back or so also at 100 or more off. 2. Problem: With high rotational a whistle but only when driving does not stand! 3. Problem: If I briefly give a lot of gas in the stand or even a little longer the motor jerks and usually goes off! 4. Problem: I can put my heating on hot and drive 300Km and it does not get warm yet not even lukewarm! 5. Problem: sometimes when I switch the gears hard in although I fully pass the clutch pedal! 6. Problem: b a my car comes my clutch just before the end of the clutch pedal is that normal? The clutch grips but normally therefore overturns net or so I think that the clutch is not kaput! 7. Ka Klickert, Quitscht und und und und und und Hello have a couple of problems with my Ka Bj. 1997. The good one starts to clack when I step through the accelerator more than half. I’m looking for a used Ford KA, if possible the new model. I mainly drive to work and not on holiday with it. Question would be, which year of construction is recommended, and which engines exist? What about the classification with you, so insurance is so rough and the taxes? Are there known weak points, also on the new model? What about rust prevention, does the low spare parts price? I had a Ford Ka Bj 1998 50 hp when I drove yesterday on the highway about 120 km/h, I had a power loss and suddenly the engine went off. I ran right up and wanted to start the engine again. The starter turned the engine not on. I opened the oil cover and saw at the start that the camshaft turns but without resistance. When the spark plug was removed the electode bent, i.e. the piston bent the spark plug. All the valves (except 1st cylinder) are crooked. What comes from this? My workshop says that I had switched off, but what was not the case, moreover, it would have disassembled the gearbox beforehand or not? Hello, have ordered a KA-titanium a week ago in the context of the Fordflatrate + insurance. We were presented with the current brochure & price list and said the price is already with discount etc. ! On Monday my girlfriend then picked up the car alone because I could not come with us. Yesterday we then looked at the vehicle and found that it is not a current Titaium (no LM rims, chrome etc.) then immediately are to the car house, the seller who served us is allegedly 2 weeks on holiday …. the other seller only meant that it would not be the current Titanium but that of before the facelift and it would have been calculated the old price. So we would have been deceived now, since we were starting from the model in the booklet & price list and we were told the car was discounted. But that was not in the end effect, it was the quite regular list price according to the old list. We would have never taken the car at the price if we had known that it was not about the equipment list. We just went from the current KA to the price of the current one?

Hello, I’ve had a Ka Built 05/2000 since August. I got it very cheap, but the thing rusts e.g. at the entry bar, at the tank think tank, in the trunk near the rear light, down in the entry area at the B pillar. The hammer is, however, that both doors rust from below and a hole is already available. This all because it is perfectly recognizable that from factory, the doors were not properly painted. N bischen filler and good. The surfaces are not completely covered with paint! I was at Ford dealer. There were taken photos (the man on site was really amazed) and sent to Belgium. the tank cover and the door entry bar were approved and the rest rejected. It was called I get a new side part. Finally, only a repair plate was installed, so I will have fun again soon. I then turned directly to Ford Cologne. This whole has taken 5 weeks and I got a ride again. My doors are soon there and that’s because they have felt. I still have to have the experience for it!
