Would like to add the current DVD for the touchscreen Navi. But after I had quite a treble *) with the previous version, I just want to put a backup copy into the Navi. Only, is that possible? Is the current 2006/07 DVD copy protected? Does the Navi recognize a self-burned copy? *) After a Navi Software UpDate in the Ford workshop, the DVD was so badly scratched that it was no longer recognized. I say (which is also true) the DVD was OK before. Typical “pronouncement against statement” whose end will probably be in court.

Hi I’ve run fat problems with my Mondeo Bj end 94 1.8 L, 16 V,172000!!! 1. Extreme sprit consumption of 12 l in city traffic on the train about 9-10 L. 2. Heavy cracking noises front when i zb in 30 zone at uneven road driving, 2 workshops and Tüv (used car check) mean it’s all solid and in order. Now I bought before 3 Mon shock absorber from Gabriel (Ebay) ,built in , and have now whistled and swinged front of the finest. nu salesman has me new sc hicks ,üblege echst ihre einbauten , has someone experience with Ebay gabriel shock absorber????? 3. When I start zb in the morning the engine Bitter runs round , after 1-2 km now again better almost round , 4. And the hammer beats , when coupling from 1 to the 2 course Quitsch noises , and still raised again while switching ,(does not overdo clean clean ). 5. performance real schmies…. autobahn from 100 to 180 kmh turb creeping slowly , Have air filters , candles, spark plugs , Fuel filter made new, no reinforcement, throttle valve cleaned, air flow meters incl wires are clean( looks white ), What kind of oil do you recommend to me atu and for my 5W30 , bought the car a year ago from the backyard dealer and filled in 15 W40 Are there any problems if I jett zb 5W40 with filter change???? Please To HIILLFFFEEEEEE Would be cool and nice if someone could give tips and tricks to every single point to fix these errors. Thanks in advance for every time eHelp very grateful

… and again a question to you … wanted to miss my Mondeo (combi) a “solar protection foil” … first for optical reasons, but also because we got offspring, and this sun protection to the feeder by sucker on the disc … … is because the sunlight passes above, below, left and right anyway … and is therefore unusable. Well long speech short sense, I bought myself yesterday a sun protection film in black. Apart from that that in Ö sterreich is not approved at all, such “billy foils” (€70) should be qualitatively totally inferior. Does anyone have experience with such foils ? Hello together, now I drive about 1 week my new Mondeo (EZ 05/06 125 HP Ottomotor) and wonder a bit about the still high engine speed in the cold running phase. I was not used to this from my Opel. There the mixture in the cold running is changed earthenly, without the speed increases noticeably. At the Mondeo the speed is significantly increased. Especially when switching the speed falls hardly, which has the consequence that the coupling always happens with grinding clutch. It’s like driving school, when the driver said: Not so much gas!! What’s the speed with you? Should I drive in the workshop? Thank you. Greetings Harald

Yes yes, I know! Now comes the annoying question about the oil… the following: I drive (still ) the 5W30 from the , but wanted to fill in another. After the arrival of the FFH, but I should not use OW40 or 5W40, or similar, because the engine would be washed out and can generate ringing or rustling noises. My vehicle data: Mondi ST-200, year 99, 2.5 LTR. (as usual)

Hello, have a 2 Mondeo BJ 98 tournament 2.0 210TKM, so far no problems at all. This morning it was very cool, wet and so foggy that you hardly saw the hand in front of my eyes. After driving a few meters, the hand brakes -ABS – and belt light went on at one stroke. I drove over immediately right over, motor turned off briefly and switched on again. The lights burned – as always – for a few seconds and then went out directly. Up to my goal (only 10 KM) fell to me. nothing more on. Random or should you ever make a head around it?

Hello, I drove a rental car (Touran) last week with the 140-hp TSI engine. I was really impressed with the engine. Would be exactly the right thing for us at 12 tkm a year. That’s why the question: Is Ford working on comparable engines? If so, when would they be on the market?

Hello guys Our Mondeo (EZ 6/96; 1.6) has a problem again. In idle mode the cat clatters like a broken engine. An acquaintance thinks that is from inside in A…… Does any of you know how to bring in peace again ? (he is not rusted)

Hello dear Leutz! Have brought the days of Mondeo from my father into the workshop ….. I had the car again and suddenly the servo went off during the ride! Holla I thought that it was really cracking on the handlebars. In addition, the temperature rose to strike! Well, I didn’t think like in the workshop, I had to have it repaired before I had to leave it. They then determined that a holder for the tensioning roller from the servo pump belt has broken down/was. So the part and the sp arnrolle with the belt just new! Thought such a holder, a small tensioner and the belt can not be so expensive……. FELLOWED! These three mentioned parts alone should cost 350€!!! Can that be?!?? Have taken a picture of the broken holder and there you can recognize the Ford number, can someone tell me what that part really costs??? Thank you, MfG Alex
