Hello, have just got my car wrong tank. ADAC called, they are coming to tow the car now, I hope they bring it to my trunk workshop. What do you think, what should the fun cost? Car was not started, I already called my workshop and prepared for it. Greeting Epex

2.0 16V zetec?
Hello, I’ve been walking from Opel to Ford for a few days. Now I want to change oil, I noticed that in my 92er Mondeo is a relatively modern engine with black instead of silver aperture. The previous owner said 2000 he had a new engine installed. I think I have already seen the same engine in the Cougar. Now my question is, what kind of engine is it exactly, where did the MKB hit? My suspicion is, that the engine is the same. is it no longer the 100KW installed up to 96, but the newer 96KW from the modified Mondeo. Is that possible? Maybe someone knows each other, would be nice, greetings from the pot!

Start problems Ford Scorpio 2.0l BJ1990
Hello.. I bought a Ford Scorpio 2.0l built in 1990 a week ago and now have problems starting or starting. The car had a battery with 54 Ah installed and ran well for a few days. After that I installed another car radio, subwoofers and power amplifiers and since then have problems starting. Since I have often installed systems in cars and have checked my wiring harnesses several times, I am sure I did not make a mistake. Since the up to now The car can only be started if I cross over with another car, but then without any problems. Alternator runs and produces good power, the car does not run out once it is on. However, somehow the battery is not charged during the ride and therefore The car can’t be started any more. Has anyone ever experienced something like this or does anyone have advice? Thank you very much. Greetings, Tim

MK4 or wait for the new one?
Hi As a convinced Mondeo rider, I am thinking about what’s the smartest: a) keep my Mondeo V6 Combi (Yg 2002, 60’000 km) until the new one comes out in 2007 (but according to press reports no longer available with the fine V6) b) just before the end buy another MK4 and benefit from the reliability and favorable conditions c) or heavy heart take a Volvo V50 or e.g. a B-Class What do you think?

Experiences FSE in MKIII
Moin @all, I would like to install a good (even if inexpensive…) active FSE in the Mondi. Unfortunately, the problem is, I don’t know about it and I had only temporary solutions installed up to now. Now I want to do it right. I have a NOKIA 6310i. The upper shell (no, not of the cow… :-)) ) should be interchangeable when buying a new phone…. Still as an info. I have a VDO Dayton MS4100 that I would like to integrate in the FSE. The market is so unsurpassed. The accessory trade only wants to sell me a temporary plant (and cut it over my ear?) I am eagerly looking for your competent help and statements. Is this necessary to allow the active FSE to be installed by the Ford dealer, or can you do it yourself with a bit of skill. Are the cables ready? (without soldering and screwing?) Greeting MC-Motors

New board computer with current consumption display
Hello Mondeo driver, I have a Mondeo Ghia SCi Kombi Bj 11/2003. Since I have the car, I have had difficulty with the consumption indicator (always about 1 – 1.5 l/100 km to less than calculated by refuelling). The following ads were available: average consumption, average speed, temperature and still to be driven kilometers. My workshop was very busy and has changed several times tanker, board and software. Unfortunately this did not bring any improvement. After I now m In addition to the above data, I also have another display, namely the current consumption. You can see very well how it changes in case of gas gain or decrease. In the sliding drive (if you approach a traffic light without gas), the display falls to 0.0 l/100km. If you take out the gear then there are only two strokes left. If someone has already experience with the new computer and from where you can contact a customer service engineer, a new computer has been installed. Does the board computer have the impulses? Unfortunately, my friend couldn’t give me any information. Maybe one of you knows something about it. Would I be happy to hear from someone.

MK1-Tunier – DRINGEND-ZV defective-can no longer close!
With our Mondeo MK1 tuner the ZV is defective (as also described in my other thread). The car could only be opened and closed via the respective doors, but was not a huge problem until today, just annoying. Now we have a very big problem: Since the last unlock it can no longer be closed! ALL doors can be opened, but no longer closed. If you turn the key to the lock, it blocks the key on drivers and drivers. ifahrer side. Locking from the inside by pressing in the door handles does not work, the lever cannot be pressed in, blocked. And that with all doors, both front and rear. The control lamp next to the clock lights up at ignition still 20 sec., which, according to the manual, indicates a defect. We then exposed the carpet on the passenger side and checked the cable harness underneath, which is damp. However, since this is insulated, this should not matter. H After drying, the control light only lights up 5 sec. after ignition. Strange. Locks (No. 25, 20 A) below the instument panel is (not burned out). But you still can’t close it!! What can we do? Can’t leave our Mondi standing open everywhere! Do you have any advice for us?

Left-hand corner 🙁
Hi your connoisseur, meinwn Mondeo Tunier TDCi (03/2003) pulls it continuously to the left. On the highway this can be quite annoying if you have to constantly steer back. I have already had the following done or checked: – Tyre pressure ok (front 2.5; rear 2.3) – Front tires lined up – chassis checked after game – nix – axle measurement at Ford However, it still pulls it to the left – even if you hit slightly to the right, it gets it again and again after a few 10 meters About. I don’t know any more. Does one of you have a helpful suggestion? The car was sold to me as accident-free and looks good from below (according to my layman’s opinion). Thank you again in advance! Greetings, adixx!

Mk3 2.0 TDDi runs hot ?!?
Hi guys, was today on the A92 from Landau towards Munich, which is quite empty and I drove what the car gave. DZM was so just over 4000 and Tacho at a little over 200. Anyway, I suddenly noticed how the temperature indicator suddenly moved really fast towards the red area!!! That was never the case before, however, was also the first time that I was constantly traveling at once so fast. I am off the gas, down to 160, the indicator is back on Normal. I then gave gas again, until 185 it remained on normal, so just before 4000 revolutions, then from 190 it went up again, then drove 180 with constant temp display. That was never, what can that be ??? Nich that soon the cylinder head burns away or similar Thx4hlp Greetz wheel box rust PS: Is a 116 HP TDDi

2.0 tddi pretty good!?
Hello together Since I can pick up my 2.0 tddi combo the day after tomorrow, I have been searching through this forum for the last few days. My result is that apparently the TDDI 2.0 with the least problems does, which of course I am very pleased! In any case, I find hardly any posts here that deal with problems of the TDDi. Mine has 116 hp and I will buy him another chip tuning from Wolf. In my opinion, I will then (after evaluation of many posts here in the forum) bese r with it, than with a TDCI. If someone should disagree, I like to read through his contribution! One never learns enough about it! Greetings Tule P.S. I absolutely fell in love with the car, although I drove him only 15 min sample! Had previously Omega B with full equipment
