  • Purchase decision Ford Mustang Ecoboost

    Hello together, I need some experiences and opinions from you. At the moment I drive a 520I BMW built in 2003. Since this now approaches its wear limit I am naturally looking for something new and PS stronger. I really don’t need the matching V8 sound for the Muscel Car look. (although this of course sounds great) But since I have no experience with such vehicles at all, of course, come to me the typical concerns that you know of Ami vehicles. What do you have as an average consumption? In the forums the opinions always differ greatly some write slightly below the 10l limit some go up to 15 l. What do you think of me as a rather cruiser, where will this move? How does it beats in the winter with circuitry? Since I want to drive the Mustang as a year-round vehicle is of course a big question for me. I am used to a tail-driver but with so many PS I unfortunately have no experience. And as a last question: Through the facelift 2018 (EU) I think the prices of the current Mustangs are too cheaper or I can get a great reward for it?

I’ve bought a Ford Mustang GT from the 2013 series. Of course there’s also an opinion according to § 21 StVZO as it’s an imported vehicle. So, now on the problem: I have a JLT air filter in it and from Rush tailpipes (possibly also more). Neither the exhaust nor the air filter is included in the report? And the report says: 47, 47c, 47d, 48 – exhaust gases, discharge of exhaust gases, carbon dioxide emissions and fuel consumption, emission classes for motor vehicles have to give you the order 49 – the noise and sound system should be prepared for me.

    I drove out of the car wash today… Street was dry, I guess not, it broke out of SOWAS… I think I’m already weak for a car Bj 2017. Has never happened to me with my BMWs. Has the DSC? Already, right?

    Hello, I had already put the topic back into the background again from avoidable sense of reason. Of course, the alert has remained in it. A very interesting offer at mobile.de then fixed me again and I could not resist contact. Unfortunately the purchase did not come to a standstill. The car is probably now still in the acquaintance circle, bad luck had. However, with the GT everything fits simply: low mileage: 8,000 km, price far under 35k, warranty extension, perfect understandable history etc. .. Now I have licked blood again and look after Mustangs again. Unfortunately, I find nothing really excessive. Half way usable then it becomes from 38, 39k, whereby also here vehicles have often already snuck a lantern or similar. My general question: Do you have tips how I could optimize my search? Here again a few infos about my search criteria: Convertible, GT, automatic, grey or black, running performance under 20-300, price under or 35k, I know that it would be a good idea for a sportive one, but I have a good idea for a new one.

    Dear colleagues, introduce myself briefly… my name is Alfred, I have a few US-Oldies and when I read the offer of Ford Kuttendreier in the fall: “Mustang 5.0 GT Cabrio 425 Euro in Leasing” I spontaneously decided to get one of these. Now I also have a current US-car. Delivery took a bit off, but I didn’t have a hurry. Today it was time… Machine is booming neatly, as it should be… Otherwise I can’t say much… The first trip went through Munich’s official evening traffic in light rain. I’m waiting for a nice convertible weather. I certainly can’t need a few tips, especially for infotainment. I have to read in there first. Conversions/tunings I don’t want to do anything, a leasing car doesn’t go anyway. First Aha experience: the thing has comfort access… I didn’t know at all. Negative (but in practice irrelevant): Engine hood has to be supported with support rod… so the peas counters were grateful for Ford at any time.

    Due to the Austrian law situation unfortunately hardly FINANCABLE for private individuals! Purchase costs from approx. 55,000,- (that would be ok, although the state there with 32% extra extra). Net price plus 32% surcharge for NOVA (standard consumption tax) on it again 20% VAT. (so tax on the “tax” therefore only from 55 EUR to have. However, the hammer is the annual car tax of EUR 2,450,– !!! liability insurance from approx. 250,– as well as cocoa from approx. 350,– yearly actually within the framework and ok. So, now it is with mark here…. but as a state you should also refuel also or tires, service etc. 😉 Has one of you ever thought about a lawsuit at the ECJ, because unequal treatment of EU citizens? As an entrepreneur with own company you get huge problems with unequal treatment – but as a state you can get that?? Especially in today’s time you have to have a relatively good chance with such a bit of good chances! PS: Therefore I drive so far and continue my Scirocco with 122 PS the annual benefit of K95, too.

  • Mustang 2016 “Easy Fuel” or rather “Easy access from strangers to tank”?

    Servus together, last week I got a mustang. Nice car and above all striking. When I looked at the tank cover and the Easy Fuel system more closely, I was very surprised. Even if the vehicle is finished, I can easily get to the Easy Fuel system and with my finger through both flaps. The construction looks like this: First comes a slightly larger plastic flap and behind it is a smaller metal flap. Both I can push up without problems with my finger. Since no Ford dealer could give me an answer so far I try to clarify the topic here. Since the Mustang is quite striking and there are also bad people everywhere, I do not want to make it too easy for these people to introduce foreign bodies etc. into my vehicle. Are there already solutions or lockable tank closures to make it at least difficult to fill something that doesn’t belong in?

    Moin, the consumption of the mustang has always been a topic, but in no own thread, mostly OT somewhere. Of course it is irrelevant to look at a V8 on ten-celliter, I don’t want to do it at all. But I’m surprised, which is sometimes possible. My way to work e.g., a lot of country road, I have often seen very low values. With two pictures. If you add the distance already covered and the remaining ones, you come on over 650 km with a filling (the tank needle is on the second picture). So it is also possible around this season incl. warm driving consumption of less than 10 liters, if there is very little city there. Does not want to start a discussion about whether you should drive your Mustang so comfortably. Most seem to move it rather as a sports car. I myself see it as what it was originally, a Gran Tourismo. Cozy cruising at the same time. The sound beyond the 4,000 U can also refresh, but the sound below 1,500 U as well.
