  • Charge the battery

Moin, yesterday I wanted to leave the nugget after a long service life, but found that the starter battery did not have enough juice. So I simply connected the vehicle to the 230V line, assuming that the starter battery is charged, but that’s probably not the case, because this morning the starter still failed his service. If I assume that the starter battery is not charged on the wrong conditions, is it not? a another question on, what if I am connected to the 230V network at the campsite and listen to a lot of radio, can I not get away at some point? Small supplement: Can I clamp a charger directly to the starter battery without having to expand it? Greeting Gerd

  • Consumption and smoke

Hello, I’ve been driving the new T 135 with 137 hp for nine months and about 8000 km. Mine starts to smoke when it’s really warm. So far the software has been restarted, the seal to the valve renewed and the EPR valve renewed. It didn’t help anything. I suspect a mistake in the injection because my transit with RV setup is not under 14 L/100km even with economical driving. The workshop has even driven a consumption of 19L/ 100 km. Has still j emand so good experience with the new TDCI engine?

  • Drowning and coupling

Hello Transitgemeinde! I have recently called a squeaky transit with simple Womo conversion my own. It is an F100 TAS with short wheelbase and without high roof in 2.5l suction diesel version (I think 68 hp). Equipment is equal to zero, but the condition is very good, because the car has not seen winter since 1995 and in the summer was always driven only for about 2 months (original 140Tkm!). Rust = missing! (except for a few stone strokes, which still have to be treated.) Was a real transit community! The vehicle corresponded to or exactly corresponds to my search grid But as it is, there are also a few things here that disturb me a bit 1. First of all there would be a slight roar between 90 and 100 km/h. Could this possibly be due to hardened engine bearings? Vibrations can only be felt at the switch lever, otherwise it runs very calmly. Or is that normal, since the machine was not developed according to the car standard at the time. 2. I have the feeling that with the Kupplu ng something is not right, because when it is cold sometimes no gear can be laid. That means, if I insert a gear immediately after starting it, it goes without problems. But if I let it run 30sec. in the stand, it doesn’t work anymore. I have to switch to the R-speed (hearable!!!) and then quickly into the 1st gear, that is reasonably possible. Furthermore, the clutch rolls from time to time when starting, no matter whether warm or cold. Since this is my first Ford I know myself with the technology still nic It looks particularly good. I would therefore be very happy about your tips about transit and your help with the above mentioned problems. PS.: He didn’t have a servo…

  • consumption nugget high roof Bj 05

hello, I’m new to/with ford 🙂 and let me just be so surprised what happens – did the forum search something – what I would like to know: average consumptions of the nugget high-roof 92kw – and indeed real!! not the 7,6l/100km noted in the letter ;-)) …. my needs 8000km driven 11-12l …auweia!! and whether it rains on others through the side sliding window and the rust also blooms joyfully after a short time or an extra treatment is advisable …so, that’s it for the first atlantico p.s. thanks to nuggetle!

  • Transit Euroline “Rost?”

The Ford Transit Euroline (125 hp) is a possible alternative for my next vehicle. When comparing the brochures of possible vehicles, I noticed at the Euroline that Ford only gives a warranty of 8 years on rusting. The competition, however, up to 12 years. Who can provide information on the subject of rust in this vehicle. I would also be grateful about other reports on the Euroline.

  • Final drive ratio

Good day, I am an electrical engineer – i.e. in the field of vehicle technology (interested) lay. For the company we need a new transporter with high payload and large trailer load. It should be the new transit FT 350 combi with 103kW. Now one has to choose between two final translations. One translation leads to a lower consumption, the other is recommended for trailer operation. Therefore my questions: 1. What does one understand about final drive or what effects one has to In practice, 2. Does the choice of axle ratio influence the maximum speed? 3. Is there any other reason for this or that axle ratio? 4. The reason for the extra consumption is not clear to me – can you not simply choose another gear and then drive just as sparingly? Many greetings and thanks for the answers. Stephan

  • Warranty extension not possible? Help!

Hello dear MotorTalker, I have the following urgent problem: I want to buy a used FTC which was approved 06/2019. He has the normal factory warranty over 24 months and is also built for the German market, so no reimport. Now the dealer says that a Ford warranty extension is not possible with this vehicle, because the first registration has taken place on a commercial company. I believe, however, the dealer only wants to sell his own used car warranty. I of course did not want his own warranty and for that to come to the Ford warranty extension. On the Internet pages for the Garatie extension at Ford there is nothing about it and the hotline mentioned there is a company, which not only for Ford, but for many dealers and manufacturers sold guarantees and which could or wanted to give me no information about it. Is there anyone with you who has experience with it? Thank you and greeting Sascha

  • Tourneo 1.5 EcoBlue jerks at acceleration, no matter what speed

Moin people, I still have problems with the EcoBlue 1.5, he can’t keep his speed clean. The tachometer always beats 200-300 turns upwards and falls clean again, on the speed I want to have. I changed the AGR, but it didn’t do anything at all. Even though the old was very dirty, after now 100,000 km. New Tüv he just got without defects. I thank you for an approach, achso and stored errors there are also no forScan. VG, Jango2k

  • Search Specialist for Automatic by Ford Transit

Hello to all those who are suffering, I am looking for a specialist for Ford Transit Automatic. Ford itself may not or does not want to know. Who can help me? Ford Transit Automatic 125 T330 behaves like a magic cube: completely different, stays in the 1st course and can be switched to R still, shortly after start not possible, only after a longer standstill. According to Ford, the hydro aggregate is defective! Who really knows about it ?????

  • Gear shift problems with gears (Transit Custom 2020)

Hello, maybe someone already had the same experience ? During the ride during the gear change I felt when I had entered the clutch pedal something like a “stroke” under the pedal. After that the pedal was still difficult to operate. The switching of the gears was also much more difficult. When I had to hold at the traffic light and then wanted to insert the first gear, it went after a felt “memorial minute”. The further switching was made as difficult. I then decided to stop and look at the pedal closer and also to look at it in the engine compartment. As expected I could not see anything at first. But a further drive was then no longer possible because I could not take a gear any more. Has someone ever had a similar or similar experience and could tell me what is now defective? I looked down on the passenger side at the entrance where the jack is looking for the towing truck. However, not found. Where can I still look? Greeting
