  • Replacement of additional heating in the rear with Eberspächer air heater

Hello all together, has one of you ever replaced the additional heating in a Euroliner (current series), the additional heating is in the rear, with a Eberspächer air heater Airtronic D4 (Standheizung)? In the option list also a Eberspächer air heater is provided for the additional heating. My Ford dealer he used about 6h for it => 400€ for the assembly. I would like to save the money and install it myself. But otherwise there is no room in the bussle for a s Is the additional heating, do I have to throw out the additional heating?

  • Diesel consumption at Euroline

Hello guys, I’ve had a brand new Euroliner with 92 kw for 2 months and so far I’ve driven almost 2000 km. The diesel consumption so far was about 10,3l/100 km. It’s at least miles away from the declared value of just under 8 litres. The workshop informed me that the engine was not really free until about 5000 km. I would like to call my driving method an average. It can’t be that the consumption is a good 2.5 liters above the specified value. What are your experiences? Before I had a Euroline Bj. 99 and this one needed less. Greetings aljulu

  • Must be removed during automatic transmission change

Ford Transit Connect EZ. 11.2019, 1,5l, automatic transmission I got a new automatic transmission about 10,000km ago (08.2022), now there were clear oil stains under the car today. Short into the workshop, diagnosis gasket oil pan has to be new. My question would be if the oil pan had to be removed during the automatic transmission change 3 months ago. Thanks for the answers.

  • Eberspächer D4L Preheating after 10 minutes of operation only cold air

Halli Hello, is one of you by chance familiar with the Eberspächer D4L year of construction approx. 1990? Just stand in the cold North Macedonia and unfortunately strike my heater for a few days :x. I could identify the following problem: For the first time the error occurred after approx. 15 minutes running time: The fan suddenly only supplied cold air and the heater switched off completely after a while. At the turn on again I noticed that the dosing pump did not tick anymore so I first thought that the pump was running again. However, the pump had to run over the heater and the control unit. That’s why I searched for cable breakage or similar between the pump and the heater installed in a box under the bus and finally arrived at a 5A fuse (this is in the box under the car with the heater), which gave up the spirit. Eventu ell a fuse for overheating?? In any case I changed it because I thought that the fuse might have been material fatigue. After that the heater ran again, where I had never run you for more than 10 minutes. Today again the same problem and again the 5A fuse which has gone away. This time after a run of about a quarter of an hour. So I have the feeling that the fuse gives up every time the heating gets really hot… Does anyone know if the fuse installed in the box below is actually a “overheating protection?”? Bzw. even more important, does anyone know which problem the saying goodbye to the fuse indicates? I would definitely be super grateful if someone could help me, since unfortunately I don’t really know the heating well. Many greetings from the snowy North Macedonia Simon

  • Tourneo Custom: Engine overheated

Good evening, everyone! My first post, and of course with a problem. I have a Ford Tourneo Custom, in the 170 HP version, BJ 11/2016, no automatic. We are on holiday in Italy. It is 30° every day, and we have a holiday apartment on top of the mountain. When we arrived here from Germany, the temperature indicator went up above the usual 90° (or slightly below) for the first time on the second climb up. immediately the air conditioning was turned off and the heater turned to full pulley, then the needle jumped down again, but not to 90°. Since then I have already been twice in different workshops. Two fuses were replaced, the first time the fuse for the second cooler, then the fuse for the second stage of the fan. The second fuse was actually through, as the mechanic determined when reading out in the second workshop. But the problem still exists. I have now had the exact temperature display displayed via the test menu in the secret on-board computer menu. I drive up to 100 degrees, then I turn off the engine and let it cool down. Also fast driving does not work, the engine still gets hot, however, the highways here in Liguria are often with incline, so with load for the mo With air conditioning the temp always goes up very quickly. With max 2000 revolutions and small gears it goes with the mountain ride, but I have to turn the heating on, and it gets very hot. Cooler looks reasonably clean and is not the problem according to two mechanics. However, the communication is of course not so easy here for me. Cooling water level is always the same. About the workshop we have ordered the thermostat valve, as this probably in the series often e in problem. If it doesn’t work, I would like to have your opinion. What would be most useful after that or what should I pay attention to? If I go home to Germany I can’t keep all a few kilometers. I would be so grateful for possible hints.

  • Manual regeneration of the DPF not possible

My transit has problems with the soot filter. Although I renewed it before 20,000 km, it is now closed again. I wanted to carry out a stationary regeneration by means of Vident diagnostic device. However, the device now always shows at the engine preheating temperature is not reached. This is still displayed after 20 km of motorway ride. The last time it finally worked on the fifth time. This time I have tried it about a hundred times and it always shows that the Does anyone have a tip for me?

  • ZMS replaced by mass swing wheel

Hello all, I had my transit year 2004, 2.4 l diesel, rear drive converted to a single-mass swing wheel, because the ZMS was over after only 90,000 km and was scratched at the gear bell. The single-mass swing wheel is said to be more robust. So the statement of the workshop. Is there anyone who had a case like this? I wonder why the ZMS has broken at all. The statement of the workshop about this: age weakness or faulty installation. the problem also come from elsewhere so that there is a risk that it will disassemble the single-mass swing wheel again? I have already searched through some forums, but found nothing suitable. I would be very happy about your help.

  • AGR valve defective/hugged 2.2 125hp Bj2016

Hello together, this morning I wanted to go off but after the start the transit didn’t want to take any gas or. did not really come at speed and jerks. Ging after a few minutes warm running better so drove a few km. Then came the message in the cockpit, the mountain driving chassis also does not work. Yellow I and the sling lamp also went on. So with ForScan the errors read out. And look, AGR clamps. So off into the garage and the actuator dismantled. The slider is rammelfest. No chance to make it manageable in any way. So the valve can be set up completely and everything is re-installed. Now it is a new one to buy. Does anyone have the OEM number for me? Which manufacturer is recommended? There are some for 75€ and which for 400€. What’s the difference? Don’t take the cheapest. 😉

  • Ford Transit costum 2021 Gear oil change really only due after 180000 km with 6-speed automatic

Hello, Must now have to the 3 year mandatory check now I had asked for transmission oil change but the workshop master told me that I should not have had to rinse until 180000 Km since Ford can not prescribe an oil change here that is I have the 6-speed automatic gearbox 6F55. Can this be??? Have currently 50000km Good morning Mr. Wenz, In your vehicle the 6-speed automatic gearbox 6F55 is installed. Ford does not prescribe an oil change interval here. The automatic transmission can be flushed between 180.000km and 200.000km. Unfortunately, a simple oil change is not enough here, since the oil can only be obtained from the converter by rinsing the automatic transmission. Sincerely, etc.

  • Tourneo Custom Consumption Overview

Hello, I have been reading here for some time and have already found some useful information about Tourneo Custom. We are proud Custom drivers since November, after further family growth our Galaxy has become too small. On the whole we are very happy with our new vehicle (EZ 06/13, 155 HP and L2). I would like to get an overview of your consumption figures with the Custom. Between the lines of the different threads here it will be easy to find I always read from people who can get along with 7 -8 litres. I can only dream of these quantities. Our consumption is currently with many short distances and at cold temperatures at 9.5 – 9.9 litres. I wonder what it might be like if I read your numbers and now I want to know very concretely: how much do you consume at what average speed and how you drive (motorway/lane) dstrasse, city traffic, rather short distance, etc.)? I would like to find such a list very interesting here. Our data: 9.5 – 9.9 liters at 55 km/h average and relatively many short distances with cold machine, in between times highway, but rather only routes under 100 km length. So all in all a lot of child-coaching!
