  • Tourneo Connect 2022

Hello together, In May 2022 the new Tourneo Connect will be released. Now I have put together the following configuration: Ford Grand Tourneo Connect “Active” (Alternative would be sport) 1.5 Eco Boost 7G Automatic Comfort Package Winter package Trailer device removable LED rear light Pano roof (Alternative climate control) Metallic 18-Maturation Grid Luggage compartment 3. Seat row Key-free start QI store Now I wanted to ask if the configuration is so useful for a family with 3 children. In question is still the Pano roof to be exchanged for the air conditioning at the rear or does the standard air conditioning for the complete interior? The petrol engine seems to me weak on the chest. Here rather to use the 122hp strong diesel? Driving profile: family carriage with 10,000km a year incl. holiday trip. Offer of dealers: 38600€ – 3000€ discount, leasing 36 months, 496€ incl Ford Flatrate+ at 0€ down payment. Is this so good or yet to the more expensive 7 seat S-Max g Mature?

  • My new Tourneo Custom L2 Titanium X – Experience Report 800 km

Moin moin, so now I am also the owner of a Ford Tourneo in the Titanium X equipment. I would like to report here from time to time about my experiences of above-mentioned vehicle. Now the car has about 700 km down and what I have noticed so far. The individual seating layout: It is widely advertised with countless (OK there are 30) possibilities to convert the seats. In my view it is a bad joke. There are hardly any possible things. You can’t build the front seats to the rear. The photos are different in width. You can only install the seats with integrated beverage holders in the middle, the seat distance cannot be changed….. The driving feeling: We also drove the V class before the purchase and decided against it, because, even if it is surprising to one or the other, I wanted to have the transporter feeling. And that’s what you have in the Tourneo. But also countless Also the suspension and steering correspond to a transporter rather than a car. I would have imagined that driving with residential trailer (1200 kg) more pleasantly. But I also read before that an empty tourneo tends rather to “nicke” at the rear. Let’s see how it affects longer distance. Today it goes then towards Spain. Which is also a joke, but we also knew beforehand is the trailer load with automatic transmission. We would have liked to have had one but about 1000 Kg of attachmentsla No wonder you can see so little Tourneos with WoWa. It’s really a market gap. But since we have only driven switchcars so far it’s not a big change for us. Circuit is very well tuned. Consumption: Well, that’s how 8 and 9 liters were on the first 800 km, with gentle driving. Equipment: It’s actually all that there are so many assistants installed. I’ll report to the assistants after our big tour. So, that’s what it should be for the first time. Itere reports follow. But now another question for those who have also bought a new Tourneo with 170 HP of mud gear: How to drive the car from the best? Gives ten suggestions on the net. From moderate to no matter. So then until the next post. Greetings Mica

  • Ford Transit starts only with Startpilot

Hey, I’ve been on big troubleshooting for over a month First time to my rusty bottom. Ford Transit Tourneo BJ 2006 Final number 8566 AIA 2,4L TDCI Rwd 200,000 km on the speedometer Current error or symptoms: Starts only with startpilot both warm and cold. If the clutch is kicked and steer at the same time. Easily stutter at approx. 2500 rpm under partial load or slightly lower the speed (eincupples) Normal idle. When did the error occur? in the month a slight squeaking noise is noted under load. Presumably rib belt bought + pulley. Old belt down. Carre run for about 10 seconds squeaking noise still mounted back there New belt. Crack found in the crawler about 15 mm long 0.3 mm wide On the same day still about 40km driven without any problems. On the following day the first minus degrees off into the car organ organ organ nix Karre does not start. Meanwhile also the batteries empty starter cable rough with the help of Delphi Tester and Gutmann read out: No appreciable errors Rail pressure sensor approx. 75.000 kps Injection valves 1-4. 0,00mg at start After start-up with startpilot Rail pressure approx. 20,000 kps (empty run) Injection valves inject (quantity inaccurate) Okay what could the error be? Pressure regulators on the rail replaced about 20 crown and completely dismantled rail as it could not be solved. Unventilated. Normal start attempt not m Possibly. Once again only went with startpilot. Pressure regulator at the high pressure pump replaced Ca 60 crown and 1 hour further. Of course also here vents No change. Only with startpilot. Rail pressure sensor abluxed from the wrecker For incredible 20 crown including Rail. Sensor disassembled and mounted in my rust leaf. No change. Continue to start only with the good old start pilot. What could explain the Rail pressure of 75,000 kps and the non-injection of Injection valve defective?

  • Search Exchange partner bench for single seat Transit Custom

Hello, I’m looking for a single seat passenger for a Transit Custom L1, as I’m converting the car to the camper. Offer a double seat fabric grey. Who has something to offer?

  • Ford Tourneo Custom – Dive out passenger seat

Hello, I bought a Tourneo Custom built in 2013 with a double seat as a use car and I noticed too late that it is not possible to adjust the double seat (especially back tilt) (see picture). This setting is apparently only possible with the single seat. A inclination to install mecanism in the double seat bench is apparently complicated. Easier to find someone (… not at all easy …) who wants a dive (double seat <-> single seat) because the single seat purchase at Ford extr has any experience of such a dive? Do you have to replace the front floor carpet also because the holes may not be the same? Thank you for your feedback.

  • Tourneo Courier 1.0 EcoBoost: Temperature / cooling water only lukewarm / your experiences?

Good morning together, just before Christmas I have to open a thread myself again and hope for your experience and the „Schwarm Intelligence”… thank you in advance for your time and help! So, Ford Tourneo Courier, EZ 01.2018, EcoBoost, 101 hp, switch (still the 5th course). The car (my wife) is and is very well maintained, has now 62,000 km on it, the engine is always warm with feeling and all 10 TKM gets fresh oil. And also the right oil for the run in the oil bath the timing belt. The EcoBoost problem should be known to everyone. Car and engine so far without problems, are very satisfied. But: In winter at outside temperatures below 5 degrees, the car becomes difficult to warm. Since it has NO lockable lamellas in front of the cooler in contrast to the successor model from 2019 (Opa) the cold air flows into the engine compartment unhindered in winter… and it takes forever, until there times with the small three cylinder by 45 or 50 degrees cooling wax In the board menu you can display that, and over 50 degrees the car doesn’t come… despite long driving distances on highway and highway at 120 km/h. That can’t be normal, right? Has it been working since the beginning, in winter I always lock the lower part of the cooler at the front, so that not so much cold air flows in, then it comes to 60/65 degrees. Do other Courier drivers have the similar problem? Or does your cooling water get warm quickly and goes up to 85/90 degrees? White someone exactly when the thermostat opens and switches from the small to the large circuit via the cooler at the front. Can this be defective, possibly from the beginning? Or do other Courier drivers have the similar problem? I have heard that the EcoBoost and also the new diesel fabricate so little waste heat that it takes just a long time for the engine/cooling water to come to temperature… and especially with the models still without slats at the front that probably takes a very long time… h be? Your experiences? Thank you and greetings, Merry Christmas, Manu

  • Warranty extension to 7 years

Hello, I have a Transit Custom as an EU vehicle. Apparently it came from Slovenia. My Ford Pass app indicates to me that I still have 160 days to order a warranty extension. I wanted to do this at my local FFH. He told me, after consultation with Ford, that this is not possible with an EU vehicle and I should order it from where the vehicle was imported. OK, then I ask my importer, he told me that the dealer did not have any What do I do now?

  • Fuel pressure too low

Moin Jungs, Have a problem with my dad his car. Recently he gave gas and then went in emergency run. I read out how to see on the picture and should now change the filter. What kind of filter comes in there? What does it have to look like?? Only such a fabric filter???? Thanks already

  • Motor durability

A friend of mine is looking for a new taxi (he had a couple of VW transporters). He wants to try something else now thanks to God. The car has to run day and night, in a scorching heat and cold. About 80 – 100,000km per year. And that is until it falls apart. But he doesn’t want a transit, because he allegedly already heard so much that the engines can’t stand and there was a lot of engine damage. A large construction company with us has allegedly again of transit (last generation) around saddled on VW and Fiat, because of the reason. At the moment he speculates on an Opel Movano (actually he doesn’t want it anyway, because it’s a grotesque box), or Fiat Ducato. I would be for transit ^^ , but you know the reason. Is there something real about it? Thanks already, mfg
