Moin out there, I’ve been standing my Tourneo Custom on the yard for a week (Yeah!). It’s a Titanium in white. One of the first actions was first thoroughly crawling through the car and looking at it. I found out that the second row of seats has loudspeakers in the ceiling, of which I didn’t read anything before and also in the demonstration bells and the used ones at the dealer was just heaven. OK, the things aren’t there and see also et I have to say that I only have the radio 5 (the standard CD radio with DAB added) in the background. In the third row there seems to be an additional, separate tweeter. Or were they always there? Then I noticed that I probably have the steamed-up antennas in the rear side windows (I thought it was a disc heater first and wondered about the stupid placement and design). I have to say that I only have the radio 5 (the standard CD radio with DAB added). his ominous copper tracks on the glass, I have unscrewed the antenna on the roof and drive for days only with the empty antenna foot on the roof. As for the reception I could not find any problems. I wonder if this antenna is wired at all and why they grow then at all (just to seal the hole?). If so, this might be quite an improvement of the antenna problem in connection with underground garages. And the additional Loudspeakers should also be more harmful to the sound in the car (but I’m not really so audiophile-oriented) Greeting Thomas

Oil in the gearbox refill/testing/engine oil question (10W40,5W30)
Hello, Since some of the gears are a bit rough (especially 2. if it is cold) I would like to check the oil level in the gearbox. Is this possible without further ado? Bzw where can I refill oil, and in this context also the question which oil. Apparently the original should not be undisturbed. The best. I also noticed during the holiday trip that the engine oil was almost empty (purple rod dry) I foolishly forgot to check because the last oil change is not all too long before the Now the gas station keeper (Austria) just filled me in 10W40 instead of 5W30 (1l) he said that would be better because not so fluid blah.. has surprised me so quickly that I could not react at all. Is that actually better? I think Ford doesn’t say 5W30 for fun.

How satisfied are you with your Tourneo???
I am thinking with a Ford Tourneo Euroline with the 170 Ps machine. How satisfied you are with your cars. I want to leave Vw and I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a t6! Write your experiences with the car! With it he likes quite well all I read he should still be very close to the craftsman version!

Automatic transmission 2.0 170PS AWD Tourneo Custom V710 BJ2024
Moin together, we have recently the Tourneo Custom with the 170hp diesel and four-wheel drive. After the first longer motorway ride I noticed that the gearbox with the short “to give full throttle and overtake on the highway starts to ratter or jerk, whereby the vibrations are clearly noticeable even in the interior. Even if I take the foot off the gas it rattles still so long until the automatic transmission switches, then it is abruptly gone. Similar to this morning when driving in city traffic. Between 30 and 50 kmh with very light gas give it starts to ratter and jerk. Only a short time later it switches down a gear and the jerking is gone. With the jerking / ratting on the highway giving the gas felt a little bit more. Does the gearbox just shut down here too late? Before I give the topic to the dealer, I wanted to ask if the “normal” is? Many greetings Stef

transit 2.0 di no power after ESP change
Hello together To the car: Ford transit 2.0 di with 100 ps year of construction 2004 After changing the injection pump the car does not run more than 90-100kmh. It has no power. I have changed turbo already. Dpf looks very clean, but is with the cleaning. Diesel filter is new. Air filter clean. Idle run is good. Test method dpf clamped. Turbo regulates or rod the pressure can moves, but when driving without dpf no difference in power. Mejne guesses what I read from the internet: – leaky fuel lines from the filter to the pump – defective exchange pump, which has probably been completely overhauled. – pump set? Does it work at all? – defective injection nozzle – leaky suction bridge – pump in the tank ( did not have my) error memory was temporarily a mistake at the injection point. Blödswedenly I deleted it without saving it. After a short drive it also did not come back. Unfortunately, the contributions will often be left to exactly this topic and one reads no solutions.

Electronics problem with ignition off.
Hello together, I have a problem there. My fat guy has a mistake in the electronics. When I turn off the ignition, the engine (2.2 tdci 140PS Bj2010) continues to run until I step on the brake, then he goes out, but then the airbag control lights, the indicator lights at the switch of the front and rear disc heating and the control servo from the turbocharger beeps go through and tries apparently constantly to regulate even when the car is off and locked up. Before that, after the batteries were both empty, they were removed and recharged again in the warm basement. After the re-anklemen, the immobilizer didn’t go out for the first time and flashed quickly. Only once I had stepped on the brake the immobilizer went out and the thickness jumped on. If it runs there is no mistake. I have no approach to what might be lying down. When the error is read out comes out a ellenlange list. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Rear flap interior trim take off new Tourneo Custom 2024
Hello, can someone give me a tip how I can take off the interior cladding at the rear flap of the nine Tourneo Custom? There is also the loop to pull on it. Can you just fold out the cladding ? What to do with the loop ? Somehow first solve ? I want to apply some alubutyl and also the one license plate lamp I have to loosen from the inside (cable) to exchange the bulb against Phillips. Perhaps also equal cavity sealing comes in. VG Joachim

Tourneo Conn. Grand wavy tyres rear axle
Hello, our Tourneo Connect Grand is equipped with all-year tires. 2 years ago we had new Hankook Kinergy 4 S on the rear axle. Since then we have driven about 25000 km. In the interior of the car there are now clearly unpleasant rolling noises. The tires are washed out and quite wavy. I drive with air pressure 2.6 bar, as the vehicle is never fully loaded, as stated. Is this normal on the vehicle? Is it possible to adjust the track at the rear somehow?

Dog box instead of seat in 3rd row, problems and dimensions
Hello everybody, We bought a Ford Tourneo Custom 2021. This one comes in 2 weeks. But I’d like to take care of it like our dog is driving safely. I play with the idea to take out one of the seats in the third row and place the dog box there to save luggage space. Do you see there problems? Does jm have the dimensions,so the width of a seat ready? That would be very helpful. Thanks and greetings Neele

Dog box in the passenger compartment instead of single seat in the Tourneo Custom?
Hi, we want to get a dog (Labrador) and look for an alternative to a dog box in the anyway small trunk of the L1. Since we 4 children have the configuration with the second row of seats to drive backwards, all outer seats occupied proved – the middle seat of the second row we build out for holiday trips, and can thus also look back and after the smallest during the ride. We would like to place the dog now – but have not found a suitable box so far… We would like to leave the third row with 3 seats, so that with the loaded trunk the rear seats form a barrier to the trunk. Does anyone have a solution or experience available here? Or would a simple basket at the place and a belt be possible? Many greetings, Joey
