  • Ford Nugget/Transit 86-00 Air conditioning and engines?

Hello, I am currently looking for a camping bus. After I first had a T4 in view, I came across the Ford Nugget because of the high T4 prices. However, there is very little information about the Nugget Mk4 from 86-00 online. Therefore a question from me: Does anyone know if there was an air conditioning system as a special equipment for the transit/nugget from 86-00? All I have found so far did not have any. Furthermore, a question about the engines: Even with Wikipedia there are e There is hardly any information about this. Does anyone know if there were 86-00 soot particulate filters for retrofitting and therefore a green badge? Thank you in advance!

  • Ford Tourneo Custom L1 rear air conditioning necessary?

Hello everybody, we are about to decide to buy a Tourneo Custom L1 from 2017. But: This one doesn’t have air conditioning at the back. I’d like to have an assessment of people who only have air conditioning at the front: Is this suitable for everyday use? Is the climate sufficient to cool off the rear? We have two children who will ride in the back. Thank you!

  • Ford Tourneo Connect 7 seats

Hello everyone! I hope I’m right here, don’t know me very well in this forum I’m planning a trip with a total of 7 people. As a rental car the Ford Tourneo Connect is in question. Now I’m not sure if the 7-seater offered by the rental car company is meant to be the Ford Grand Tourneo connect or if there is the normal Tourneo Connect as a 7-seater. I’ve looked online, the Grand Tourneo Connect would be perfect for our trip, but among the I always find normal Tourneo Connect only 5-seaters and I doubt that in the variant a 3rd row leaves enough storage space. Thank you in advance and I apologize to every Tourneo lover, whom I may offend with this question ^^

  • Experiences Engine 2.2 Ltr. – 85 kW TDCi KAT 2010

Hello, I’m currently interested in a Ford Transit with EZ 3/2010, Diesel, 85 kW/116 hp, 2198 cm3, manual gearbox, zGg 2800kg, Euro4 What are the experiences with the 2.2ltr engine including control? Didn’t have any contact with Ford yet and don’t know if the various engines are installed as wildly as other manufacturers and therefore the engine choice is very decisive. The 2.2 could also be a car engine or? How does it master its task in transit? Does the transit always have rear drive? Thank you for your help! LG m.

  • Transit MK6 Driver’s door Door contact Lock problem PIN Occupancy?

Hello, I have the problem with my transit MK6 (12.2006) that more and more often when the driver door is closed, it is indicated in the instrument cluster that the door is still open. In summer it happens more often than in winter. When it is closed it is of course acknowledged by horns and the car remains open. After some research I have read that “flooding of the lock with WD40 etc. should help. I tried it, but does not bring anything. The contact is probably directly in the driver lock and is defective. I don’t want to renew the lock, first of all it works perfectly (except for the contact) and I don’t think it makes sense. I would like to close the contact now, so that the car is made to believe that the door is always closed (that doesn’t bother the light). So would I need the PIN occupancy from the plug in the door or? Or if someone has a manual or tips on how to reach the lock or possibly repair it. Is it also a cable break? But then it would NEVER close or? Thank you very much.

  • Fuel pressure control valve clamps

I finally got an error message P0149 I connected 2 transparent hoses in a canister to the pump and after about 5 x org the Ford jumps on. First he zots around a little bit but after about 15 seconds he runs in the stationary gas like a clockwork as it should be. Only gas it only takes up to 1200 revolutions. As a source of error comes with the readout device 1: air in the fuel system (I can only partially understand since hoses go directly into a canister 2: Fuel lines clogged (can I exclude) 3: Exhaust connection Fuel control valve clamps or is blocked (seemingly most plausible) 4: clogged external filter (can I exclude there including housing made new) Now to my actual question someone has changed this fuel control valve before? Does this work without pump expansion ? What do you have to pay attention to? Thanks for your help PS: give up is not an option

  • Turbochargers

Can it be that Ford has a problem with the turbocharger? I know several such cases in the area of Hanover. A transit is therefore not repaired for days. With every standing day the car brings losses. A replacement vehicle is available for free only if you have the defective vehicle brought to the workshop by a tow company. Ford shows itself to be extremely hard-boiled. What else can you do to prevent the failure of the company?
