  • Tansit Preheating – Battery charge too low…

The phenomenon often plagues me that it says “The preheating cannot be started, because the battery charge is too low. I have a 2019 Tansit 2L FCD so MK7. There are extra 2 batteries installed, the seller already can give me problems with one because of preheating… Now there is the with 2 so also… So two-part question – Since the battery is only modest to reach, I can use the + contact installed in the engine room for external start as well as a mass point – does it make sense to give the vehicle a permanent charging possibility? Think of MagCode charging plug system with small maintenance charger

  • Transit doesn’t start.

Hello dear forum, I have the following problem with my Ford Transit: When starting it shows the yellow exclamation mark in the tooth wreath. Since this is a “can be anything” error, I ask you for your advice. The car does not start. After I drained the diesel filter yesterday, the car jumped briefly, then baer went out again. On the next attempt he started and went out again. The error symbol no longer lights up. After these attempts e I have to admit to my shame that the diesel filter has not yet been changed since the purchase of the vehicle (2015). But it was planned for the end of this month. I have already ordered a new one. As the car jumped after draining, I suspect it might be due to a clogged diesel filter. Feels like the car doesn’t get any fuel when trying to start. I know that this is something “in the blue” but can anyone at least substantiate my assumption so far that one could assume that one could be “well”?

  • Transit VI (Bj. 06-13) DPF error after 20TKM or 500KM

Hello together, I have a Ford transit that was converted by me to WoMo, but this only on the edge. I had a little over a year ago when the driveline lamp was installed and the MKL reported a new DPF. After now 20TKM (all long distance 5x Sweden in 2024) both reported again. Read me forscan returned P242F as well as P2463. A static regeneration was not possible. Much then with Forscan on which the AGR valve does not work and is always 100% open. o I have now renewed the AGR valve and the DPF. About Forscan DPF learned values back law. PCM restarted error memory deleted. After 500 KM (once a week 140KM back and forth highway) the same game started on the way home emergency run and the same error codes. I put everything back to it again after which the transit for approx. 3KM Prima drives and then everything is set again. I then assumed a defective differential pressure sensor but this is now he A static regeneration is not allowed because a fault is set and if I reset everything and then run it runs about 7min then the errors are set again and the regeneration is stopped. I can also unfortunately not read out any DPF live data with FORScan because the PIDs are not available. What do I do wrong? I hope someone can help me here and am grateful for every tip. Greeting Joe

  • Transit T280 TDCI 110PS

Hello! I have a brand new Ford Transit as a company car! It is the 110hp TDCI EZ June 2007! I have noticed the following speciality! I am mostly on the highway and drive when often in the legal area full gas! The vehicle is indicated with 157km/h and can not turn out fully Tacho max 168km/h! It almost always runs on block! At approx. 3800U/min is close! That is annoying, especially downhill! My only 100hp strong predecessor Bj 10/2005 was faster and h at downhill not limited Tacho max approx. 190km/h! The vehicle goes downhill especially short on the gas and immediately away from the gas! I wanted to ask if the new transit is equipped with a kind of speed or speed limiter and if something can be changed! Greeting, Michi

  • Euroline or Transit Tourneo

Hello municipality, I am currently driving a Galaxy as a company car and get a new one in about a 3/4 year. Since I then descended from the T4 to the Galaxy, I would like to now something bigger. I thought about the Euroline with 2.2l TDCI 103KW 140PS or the Transit Tourneo 8 seater also with the 2.2l TDCI 103KW 140PS. Unfortunately in the Prosketet there is nothing above acceleration values and top speed. I would like the top speed as it stands in the papers in Does anyone have experience with the 2.2l TDCI with 110 hp? As a workshop car I have bought for my people a transit Doka medium wheelbase with 2.4L TDCI 115PS. Experience up to now goes around like a rocket, even so that you can still spin the rear wheels in the 2nd gear, but at 140km/h Tacho is finished. What does it look like with the models with front drive as well as Euroline and Tourneo has? So now let’s go…. Greetings Thomas

  • Engine went off and didn’t want to go!

Hello everyone and happy new! So my year is not well started. My transit from 1988 with 2.5D Maschiene (4AB) doesn’t want to start any more! Today I won the race at noon, and off over the highway. Since I had time today, I was always able to drive 80Km/h. Unfortunately I only got 5km far. He didn’t take any gas, the engine just went out. Without jerking or anything else. He didn’t want to jump on the side strip any more. (The landscape has the car w The ADAC could not help any more. So : It has not been wrongly fuelled. The steering tooth is intact. Diesel filter and oil is just 1.5 months old. Starter turns but engine does not start. With starter help spray (start pilot) he made signs to start, but no more. ============================ Where can it be ?? ======================= How is it with the shut-off valve ? If it does not get power, the engine goes off ? The injection pump can be used for If I had collected water in the diesel filter, I still have to check, but if it were so, the engine would also have pushed strongly ? Is there a safety or relay for the shut-off valve ? Please for any suggestions, what it can be about. Even if it can be illogical for the 1. ..

  • transit uncarable in winter?

I’m surprised that I didn’t find anything on the subject here, but the day before yesterday I wanted to drive with my 1999 transe towards Austria and wanted to turn back after a kilometer in Garmisch. Just slipped around, brake path about 500 meters, when starting despite ESP on 20 000 revolutions high, at a crossroads where it went downhill, I stood fully on the blocks and just slipped further onto the road. Is that normal? It wasn’t particularly icy, einfac h only snow on the road, already smooth, but this should actually be rideable with winter tires. The tires are three years old, maybe not the best (fulda…) profile is still thick on it. What is it like with you? Should you leave the shemale in the mountain and with snow/ice? Or is it because of the tires, or something completely different? Thanks, greetings

  • Transit FT 430 very brake bad in rain

Hi I’ve had a new machine for 2 months. A transit FT 430 (twin tyres) For 2 weeks I’ve been in the workshop regularly after I almost took off. The following: In dry weather, the part brakes super! In rain, the thing is UNBREMSBAR or we better say UNBREMSBAR! Different road surfaces, rain and I don’t get the device to stand up. The ABS cleans up when I just hit the brake! I had to drive back down a driveway and remember e still here something is wrong, he pulls me down the mountain here, I say to my “Spannmann” look after, he walks around the car and finds, the right front wheel hangs in the air! In the driveway was already a 7.5 he from and and a sprinter! The right wheel stopped and all the other wheels turned cheerfully further! If I drive in the rain from the highway into the exit (curve brakes) and run over the edge stripes (painted) it just goes straight from ABS (only in front) ) The whole thing started with a soft pedal! Then 2x the brake was aired! Error codes no displayed. Brake test, brakes were so good that he tuned the device! Connections from the ABS control module checked if all are correct, was ok I have to say the part has about 3,5to, is built in. Now we threw down the 185 tires and made 205er on it, I then made with the master an extensive test drive and I mean he brake better, the The problem was, it wasn’t really wet on the road. The master then called Ford Köln, I have to say, the dealer wanted to “safeguard the car! At Ford it was then: This can’t be due to the tires, the 205 it can’t be installed, no registration! The master: The customer is standing here and can’t work! Cologne: That’s not my problem. (Very nice arm such a statement) The dealer has already sent 2 accident reports to Cologne and must now have a prod What is this supposed to be in the winter? Can anyone help me?! Have you ever heard of this problem? Don’t you think that now I’d be turf like a poacher, all who have been driving with the device until now have the same problem and I have been driving transporters and 40 tonrs since 1986 😉

  • Charge the battery

Moin, yesterday I wanted to leave the nugget after a long service life, but found that the starter battery did not have enough juice. So I simply connected the vehicle to the 230V line, assuming that the starter battery is charged, but that’s probably not the case, because this morning the starter still failed his service. If I assume that the starter battery is not charged on the wrong conditions, is it not? a another question on, what if I am connected to the 230V network at the campsite and listen to a lot of radio, can I not get away at some point? Small supplement: Can I clamp a charger directly to the starter battery without having to expand it? Greeting Gerd
