  • Diesel really so “bad”?

hello! quote from the adac used car booklet 2007: (FOCUS C-MAX) …….”However, the 1.6 liter gasoline trucks have to struggle with the high weight. Better and more economical progress is made with the diesels. Recommendation: Can we recommend with respect the fault list to the diesel? Then prefer the 1.8 liter gasoline or the same natural gas variant” Question to the diesel drivers: (with me it should be the 2.0TDCI) are they really so vulnerable?? many thanks!

  • What kind of rental car is mine as an accident-damaged person?

Hi, not even 48h after I picked up my brand new Focus Sport TDCI, someone drove me in the back (she was guilty and admitted it immediately). I tell you quite a great thing. By chance the accident happened right next to my dealer. Got the Ford Master right away and he meant that some parts had to be changed (back door on driver side, side skirts) etc. The repair took about 1 week. What kind of car rental did I have there? Claim ?? I can somehow remember having read that only one car is entitled to a class under mine. Only I am now a frequent driver and if I now had to switch from a 100kw Focus station wagon to a 55kw Fiesta or something that would hurt quite a lot.. What do you think about it ?? Greeting Stargate85

  • Mondeo type at the rear

I’ve been in England for the last few days 4200 kilometers. Never before have I seen so many mooneos on the streets as there is. But there are almost only limousines, tournaments are quite rare. Soon every fifth big car is a mooneo. What struck me especially, the English mooneos have all the silver letters with the type at the stern. Here’s a picture of it.http://www.ford.co.uk/spg/getImage.asp?… Servus Seppl

DOES IT LIKE A NOTICE??? I have to get on the track tomorrow morning 400 km and the weather shouldn’t be the best. But have hardly any water left in the washing machine. Can anyone help me at short notice??? I have to leave tomorrow at 06:00, so I can forget the fFH. Greetings Bullish

  • Always electricity on the cigarette lighter?

Hello, have such a voltage converter for a portable CD player that comes in the cigarette burners. Unfortunately, I always have electricity there even when the ignition is off and the key is off. Is that normal? Could I steal the + and – from the radio too? I have a cable that runs over the ignition lock. Electricity consumption from the converter should be so 350mah… Is that possible?

  • Ghia X completes itself

As I heard, there should be a broadcast today on a German TV station about self final cars. I also have this problem with my Ghia X. An example: I get off to refuel and take the key with me. I came back from the cash register, put the fuel note in the driver’s seat and clean the windows. Suddenly the central locking closes all doors. If I had also put the key on the seat, I would have looked stupidly out of the laundry. But I’ve known him for over a year, I’ve become careful with it. Has anyone else had such experiences? • Now it’s my turn!

Hello together, now the rust under the gaskets of the doors caught me as well. I had inspection, and the master showed me the places found in the framework of the rust prevention. I had already looked at the reports here, but did not discover these tiny bubbles. Now comes probably the usual: seal take off, shoot photos, send in at Ford and then repair. What does the success rate look like? Does the rust come back anyway, or can the Re I therefore have no special blood pressure, the car 115 HP TDDI is now almost 3 years old, and the remaining rust guarantee is still long. Greetings, JvdL

  • Defected driving seat, what now? Recaro?

With my 98er KOmbi Mondeo the engine has been defective for a long time for the height adjustment of the seat. Now something is broken in the backrest. Can I now install a recaro seat of my choice? WAs happens with the airbag? What about the power connections for the Recaro? Does a Recaro console for Mondeo fit to any Recaro seat? Can I install it myself? What do I do with the old seat(explosion of the airbag)?
