Hi, I very probably wanted to order a new Tourneo Custom soon. However, I have a few small questions, which I did not really get answered in the brochure and also by the FFH. Doesn’t this fit the engine in the Titanium, or is this standard? Is the dual battery system currently in production? Otherwise I will order it in any case. I assume that the start battery and peripherals are fed by separate batteries and the 2nd is charged or bripped while driving? This is particularly interesting with a stationary heater. -Ra finder Package with cigarette lighter: we are non-smokers, but does this equipment provide a 12V socket more? Where is the ashtray (mini trash can)? – 230V socket: I think it makes sense to have a 230V connection. There are many devices like laptop etc. Today this can’t be wrong? I also got an offer from the local dealer. I say? laughable? Is the purchase price really so extremely high that a medium-sized dealer with about 5 branches can not make a “marketable” price? If you are looking for the model, for example, mobile.de, you rarely get over 37,000 Euro(gross) even with fully equipped models. Separate dealers sell however older vehicles for 45,000 Euro (partly used)… The offer of my dealer was in this area, he thought he could not give higher discounts! I would like to buy locally, but the competition is very large. Toruneo Custom Radio antenna still necessary?
Moin out there, I’ve been standing my Tourneo Custom on the yard for a week (Yeah!). It’s a Titanium in white. One of the first actions was first thoroughly crawling through the car and looking at it. I found out that the second row of seats has loudspeakers in the ceiling, of which I didn’t read anything before and also in the demonstration bells and the used ones at the dealer was just heaven. OK, the things aren’t there and see also et I have to say that I only have the radio 5 (the standard CD radio with DAB added) in the background. In the third row there seems to be an additional, separate tweeter. Or were they always there? Then I noticed that I probably have the steamed-up antennas in the rear side windows (I thought it was a disc heater first and wondered about the stupid placement and design). I have to say that I only have the radio 5 (the standard CD radio with DAB added). his ominous copper tracks on the glass, I have unscrewed the antenna on the roof and drive for days only with the empty antenna foot on the roof. As for the reception I could not find any problems. I wonder if this antenna is wired at all and why they grow then at all (just to seal the hole?). If so, this might be quite an improvement of the antenna problem in connection with underground garages. Oil in the gearbox refill/testing/engine oil question (10W40,5W30)
Hello, Since some of the gears are a bit rough (especially 2. if it is cold) I would like to check the oil level in the gearbox. Is this possible without further ado? Bzw where can I refill oil, and in this context also the question which oil. Apparently the original should not be undisturbed. The best. I also noticed during the holiday trip that the engine oil was almost empty (purple rod dry) I foolishly forgot to check because the last oil change is not all too long before the Now the gas station keeper (Austria) just filled me in 10W40 instead of 5W30 (1l) he said that would be better because not so fluid blah.. has surprised me so quickly that I could not react at all. Is that actually better? I think Ford doesn’t say 5W30 for fun.

Ford Escort 1.8TD Combi, wheels “flatten” despite balancing
Hello, have a question and would be very happy about answers. The following: I changed from summer to winter bikes at my escort. Now these are extremely loud and “druff”. Very bad it is at about 80 km/h. Also it seems to me as if the wheels “flatten” a little… sometimes sounds like that. Now I was in a workshop and had all the wheels balanced out. Had about an imbalance of 0.25 (?) . It does not flutter now so much, but it is still roaring really well. I also changed the front wheels with the rear wheels for the “test”, but no improvement. Air pressure is 2.5 bar for all wheels. What I noticed is that there is a thin black line on the tread on some wheels outside… So as if the wheels are particularly worn out there. Does anyone have an idea to remove this roar or is there only a new purchase in view? Strangely, the “dry” last wint was he’s not yet… Thank you very much! Greetings Rudi
