Hello, I have the problem with my transit MK6 (12.2006) that more and more often when the driver door is closed, it is indicated in the instrument cluster that the door is still open. In summer it happens more often than in winter. When it is closed it is of course acknowledged by horns and the car remains open. After some research I have read that “flooding of the lock with WD40 etc. should help. I tried it, but does not bring anything. The contact is probably directly in the driver lock and is defective. I don’t want to renew the lock, first of all it works perfectly (except for the contact) and I don’t think it makes sense. I would like to close the contact now, so that the car is made to believe that the door is always closed (that doesn’t bother the light). So would I need the PIN occupancy from the plug in the door or? Or if someone has a manual or tips on how to reach the lock or possibly repair it. Is it also a cable break? But then it would NEVER close or? Thank you very much.

Fuel pressure control valve clamps
I finally got an error message P0149 I connected 2 transparent hoses in a canister to the pump and after about 5 x org the Ford jumps on. First he zots around a little bit but after about 15 seconds he runs in the stationary gas like a clockwork as it should be. Only gas it only takes up to 1200 revolutions. As a source of error comes with the readout device 1: air in the fuel system (I can only partially understand since hoses go directly into a canister 2: Fuel lines clogged (can I exclude) 3: Exhaust connection Fuel control valve clamps or is blocked (seemingly most plausible) 4: clogged external filter (can I exclude there including housing made new) Now to my actual question someone has changed this fuel control valve before? Does this work without pump expansion ? What do you have to pay attention to? Thanks for your help PS: give up is not an option

Mondeo 2.0 Full equipment purchase ??
Hello guys, I am interested in the following model, which is available at a dealer. You can read the necessary information below. However, since I have no idea about Ford, you have to enlighten me. What interests me particularly: fitness (I know – very generally the term, but I think you know what I’d like to say) consumption (would like to convert it to car gas !!) (driving mainly rural road, little city) maintenance (tax, insurance so at 50%) driving retention and (acceleration, final speed, road position, safety) And of course the usual “macks” that each car brings with it. And ???? What do you say at the price. At Autoscout there is not much comparable to this 🙁 Thanks already in advance !!!! limousine, silver, first registration: 06.2001 mileage: 40,000 km engine capacity: 1999 engine power: 107 kw Price: 14.450,- EUR Extras: ABS, front and side airbag front, head- shoulder airbag front and rear, exterior mirror llbar und heizt, Bordcomputer, Colorglas, Holzdekor, elektr. Leaning at the 99er Mondeo 1.8l petrol
Hello dear workshop consultant, my 99er Mondeo, 1.8l Benz. has for a few weeks been an annoying skimmer, i.e. between 1500 and 2500 tours and little gas rolling away is accompanied by more or less noticeable backpackers. The same in the stand and running air conditioning: engine runs round and shakes lightly. Without load you notice nothing. The workshop moved with the laptop and established defective Lambasonden heater (error p0135). esseser (was claimed), which did nothing. Then the harness rang through, lines pulled separately, further mass pulled: same error message, same error picture. Claim at the end: The PCM module must be new, makes 1000+ EUR. For testing purposes, one cannot use: they come out of the warehouse unprogrammed (wg. immobilizer) and have to be programmed, which only once goes on. Risk that it is not then, one does not want to take on itself. I also do not. Is (afaik) only there for the warm running phase. There must be something else. False air, some sensor macky, etc.. Candles are new, of course brought nothing. Ignition cable? Whether outside moist or not doesn’t matter, so it can’t actually be. Throttle flap pots I have ohms appropriate, could not detect jumps or dropouts. Range 1.5k – 4kOhm, depending on the throttle position. Has an idea how to here Is it possible to proceed systematically?

TDCi motors – which one is the right one?
Hello Together, after a long search for a suitable vehicle I finally arrived at a car where everything seems to be right: inexpensive, great equipment, … Recently I read, however, that there were many problems with the first TDCi engines and that in 2003 new diesel engines were installed. Now to my questions: From which month were the new engines installed? With the Facelift in October 2003? Is there a recommendation for a diesel model? Is there anything else to come from Austria and would import the car. The large selection and the slightly cheaper prices have convinced ultimately that vehicle to buy in Germany. Thank you for your answers, Marco

Turbochargers
Can it be that Ford has a problem with the turbocharger? I know several such cases in the area of Hanover. A transit is therefore not repaired for days. With every standing day the car brings losses. A replacement vehicle is available for free only if you have the defective vehicle brought to the workshop by a tow company. Ford shows itself to be extremely hard-boiled. What else can you do to prevent the failure of the company?

New here and directly already questions about transit and Euroline!
Moinmoin! So, now that it looks like in a few days (hopefully) I am proud owner of a Ford Transit Euroline from 1999 with EZ 2000, WoMo over 2.8 t, I want to honor this forum. As an old T3 driver, this vehicle offers unimagined comfort and size. But how to look with the rust??? Have you read a bit here about the rust, can you tell me from experience how it looks with the 99er ft100 model???? Are there other known flaws, on which i when buying this vehicle should pay attention? And at the end of the day, unfortunately, there is no mattress in the vehicle, a drink holder and the cooler! Where can you get these parts or there is someone who has such parts left? So, then I hope for a good time in this forum and say thank you for every answer! Greeting Jorma

Water constantly drips into the driver’s compartment
My problem: My Ford Transit Tourneo, BJ 01/05, is leaking – in other words – I have always had water in the driver’s footroom. My workshop has already had the car 10 times to seal – each time found something new (at the last time – again sealed the outside mirror ), but this morning (after a rainy night) the water ran into the footroom. I have even found the place, w o the water drips into the driver’s compartment, but the workshop unfortunately does not find the “way of the water”… The water drips out of a cable opening above the wheel box (there are two black hoses coming out) – so from the Holm – only, where can it come from there??? I am really desperate – drive now since December 2007 without floor mats… anyone still has a good suggestion, what it can be?? Windshield was changed and thus reglued – nevertheless the water entrance. Workshop doesn’t know where to look anymore… LG Grit

All-wheel drive vs. ESP
My Transit Euroline is now over 10 years old and I would like to buy a new one. Meanwhile there are two main applications: a) with light load short and long distances (up to 500km) to the customer b) with heavy load and large trailer short and long distances to the customer Up to now I have often had problems in winter, with sometimes in the snow did not get away. That’s why I waited longingly for the four-wheel version. Unfortunately, I was told by Ford that I now have to decide: All-wheel drive and ESP are not in combination. )-: What is more important for me? All-wheel (better get away) or ESP (safety on slippery roads)? I am grateful for good advice!
