    Hello I’m new here, and I’m a proud owner of a ford escort 1.8 16V Ghia! is a great car but I have a problem! if the essi is cold and i am driving at a traffic light and i take the walk out so that it is in empty run, the speed goes down abruptly and sometimes goes out!   • new Focus II with flaws

    Hello, since the 13.05.2005 I have the new Focus II Tunier Sport with 1.6L TI-VCT 115PS petrol. It took only 24 hours, until the car stood and was repaired by the ADAC (Zündkabel defective). The consumption is sensational. On the highway at 100kM (because you still save the car) 8 liters to 100kM (specified 5.1). In the city area 11 liters to 100kM (specified 8.7). When carefully examining the car I found that some parts are missing. In the Xenon headlamps the headlight cleaning system and the light length regulation are missing. The headlight glasses are not, as with the sport usually darkly stored. A wrong roof strip was delivered. The air conditioning button ticks. In the city the car is very quiet, on the highway it is a lot louder. The engine is tight. Apparently Ford no longer has time to check the cars. Optisch looks good. The delivery time has been 13 weeks. I already regret that I have sold my old Opel friends.

  • Focus RS engine problems

    Servus together, I’ve had a severe problem with my RS engine and though, I’ve got on the engine 19000km and it’s already 6 times the pins, cords, coils have been changed. So the problem I have is the following, if it’s cold then it’s not running properly round,that’s called stuttering like sow.But that’s what it does when it’s warm.It’s undriving when you drive it under 2750 turns it’s running well again.What can that be? If I clean up new spark plugs it’s gone for a couple of days weeks,then I have the same problem again.Who can help me? nor what can I please not drive to your Ford dealer, if the car is more with my dealer than with me.Hat of you who the same problem and above all what can be done against it.

  • Automatic transmission 2.0 170PS AWD Tourneo Custom V710 BJ2024

    Moin together, we have recently the Tourneo Custom with the 170hp diesel and four-wheel drive. After the first longer motorway ride I noticed that the gearbox with the short “to give full throttle and overtake on the highway starts to ratter or jerk, whereby the vibrations are clearly noticeable even in the interior. Even if I take the foot off the gas it rattles still so long until the automatic transmission switches, then it is abruptly gone. Similar to this morning when driving in city traffic. Between 30 and 50 kmh with very light gas give it starts to ratter and jerk. Only a short time later it switches down a gear and the jerking is gone. With the jerking / ratting on the highway giving the gas felt a little bit more. Does the gearbox just shut down here too late?   • Ford Ka service brake uneven!!

    Hello! Have a problem with my wife’s Ford Ka. The rear brake only works quite properly on the right, on the other hand, almost zero on the left. I also read through some articles and noticed there the tip that it could be on the control pressure valve. I bought a valve from Ford today and built it with anticipation, but unfortunately it still doesn’t work on the left side. I also tested on the asphalt and clearly recognized a brake track on the right side only unfortunately not on the left. The linings are still very good and I also made a little improvement on them, but also that didn’t bring about any improvement. Have the vehicle screwed on the left side today and the brake operated at the same time I tried to solve the screws of the wheel. The wheel moved so that I could not solve the screws. Thanks to the valve the braking effect was only slightly improved. Of course I also ventilated the system. Now it’s up! Does anyone have a tip for me?

Now looking for a small splashy city car I came across the Ford Ka from year 2009. Friday at the dealer, they offered me a new BJ.2010 Titanium black with climate for 11.600€. How do you find the price, or do you have a tip where I can get such a re-import car maybe new for under 11,000€? How else do you get along with the ka? I geseenze in it and at first glance I was thrilled, although little storage space inside, but a large passenger compartment, that with the trunk that it only opens by sloppy is something stupid, or ?   • hum, whistle at turn right and left, heater spins

    Hi, I haven’t heard a whistling again when turning right or left, even in the stand when I turn the steering wheel hums anything in the front, what can that be??? Also again the same problem with the heating to level 2 and 3 although I have changed the resistance it has only held for 2 months now whistles again and probably gives up the geist again, can you prevent it somehow???

  • KA suitable for students?

    Hello dear forum user, short to me: I am 18 years old and student in the 2nd semester. I now own my driver’s license for more than a year and slowly it is not enough for me to get the car of the parents only from time to time on the weekend. I need to use public transport about 1h to university, my friend also lives 1h away from me, so that I spend about 3h on “slim” days in buses and trains. I have also thought for some time about cheaper alternatives to the car, however, scooters are just too dangerous and too weather-dependent. So now I am just about to inform myself about cars to be financed as cheaply as possible and have stuck with the (new) Ford KA (for alternatives I am also open). My parents and grandparents thought that they would pay me a car, but the running costs (sprit, insurance, taxes) could not afford to pay me the whole time of my life. (I have to say that my parents own 2 cars and now the 3rd in the family would come to this. ) That means that I would be able to make my purchase of my car again. In addition, I would have to have to have to save my money. I have to pay for my life.

  • New speakers for my Ka

    Hello everyone, I have a Ford Ka built in 1999. The speakers in there are all the same really miserable and the right one is now just buzzing and roaring. I was already at ATU, but they don’t have speakers in their range that would fit in there. The size is 165 mm and the problem is that the speakers are very narrow (so the installation depth is that I think…) and therefore no boxes fit. Has someone ever built into a Ford Ka that was built before 2000 new loudspeakers. From 2000 they probably rebuilt the speakers because they themselves noticed that the old construction was total crap… Nu i really can’t hold out this noise anymore… I would be very happy to get information soon.
