  • fiat ducato, ball bearing fat squeezes out

Hello! after the brake change, the fat is pushed out in the back, and on one side the wheel bearing has broken. probably because the fat was missing. the caps on the wheel hub nut are no longer the best. what amazes me is that the rims are getting relatively warm without much to brake, the hand brake is not too much tense. what do you think? the other side can’t be turned so easily. by that I mean when you turn the drum with swing, it doesn’t turn any further, is the norm al? also here the handbrake is not too tight. can that be that the hatches first have to drive in a bit? thank you already and hope you can help me

  • Fiat Panda (old) 1993 Mod.499 900ccm drum brake rear

And once again a tricky question for me. How do I get the drum brakes off at the back. I think that they are a little bit polished…. New drums are there, remaining interiors (brake pads, springs, brake cylinders too) Now the new drum on the inside has a half-round groove, of which I have no idea for what it should be or is. Hangs there a spring or any ring ? Or is the reason why I can not pull the drum off easily from the hub If yes, how can I solve the problem? Perhaps the brake cylinders are too wide open, so that the brake runs a bit “blocked” wheel! How can I solve that before I take the flex and just flex the drum apart…. Or should I do exactly that? Partial segment away flex brake cylinders then push in by hand, take down drum (and dispose), in life renew and push new drum on it. (unfortunately no idea with how much N/m. Let’s go to the brake dynamometer and check everything again…. Would be nice if someone could help me there And I say thank you

  • Punto does not start or leave during the ride

Moinsen love community I have a Punto Bj. 01 and this is the phenomenon that he (so I can see it) when it is cold, does not start at all or (and that is always sporadically) after approx. 100-200m simply runs out. I have already made the fuses and relays, everything out and sprayed with contact spray all plug connections. Even our Fiat dealer is questioned (bin with the per-du ^.^). Now I hope that one of you can help me here…. De nn I must already be able to rely on my car (professionally). My brother has already the neck that I always take his car 😉 Thanks already in advance mfg Rene

  • Takeover of Opel??

A former Fiat car manufacturer Opel, is becoming more and more likely. After Fiat, Chrysler took over with 20%. and it will expand it in the course of Fiat’s time. Will the Fiat Chef, to travel to Germany. to talk to the Federal Government about the takeover of Opel. if everything Klalt wants Fiat as with Chrysler first 20% share of Opel. I find Opel & Fiat fit very well together. especially the Opel and Fiat already worked together Öffters. Would a merger be a good thing only positive bringing, e.g. the diesel engines from Fiat are better around classes. than the ones from Opel Generel the Fiat Jdt engines are the best of the Weld. mein fazit: a fusion of Fiat – Opel – Chrysler Would remix the cards at least in the sales figures. with the cooperation new techniques become cheaper, and Faster developed .ALSO LETS GO FIAT!!

  • Fiat Grande Punto

  • Some questions about Fiat Panda Selecta

Hello Fiat Forum. I’m new here and have a few questions. With a little delay I’ve recently made my driver’s license and I’m lucky that a Fiat Panda Selecta is given to me. The car belonged to my foster father’s mother (my grandmother) and has not been moved for almost a year since she died recently. It’s a silver Fiat Panda 1.1 Selecta from 5/1992 with just 46000km and in a very good condition. No rust as far as you can see. Tires are almost flat and he didn’t jump at once either. But he finally jumped on and ran acoustically rather inconspicuously. Although the car is registered by my foster father, I will take care of all other costs. I would also like to keep the car, as it has grown to my heart. I guess I can’t drive more than 7000km anyway with the one in a year and would use it only a few years. Well, since there are no real cars with us and I can only have theoretical knowledge/interest, I don’t really know how to do it properly. Pump up wheels, tow and then check in a workshop with oil change, spark plugs etc.? The car was always in a garage in dry and artisanal clumsy I am not either. What could you do so yourself to get the fit again? I hope around the middle of May I am finished with my driver’s license and would then use it immediately w even more important for me, however, is what I have to consider about the car. I know that a panda needs more inclination than a Japanese, for example, but I would also like to know typical weak points of the panda. And another problem: the car has no audio system installed at all. No radio, no boxes and cables I have not seen anywhere. How best to proceed there? A proper, cheap radio and reasonable boxes would do it already. Thanks already. for help posts and tips. Elias

  • Seicento new for 6000,- € ?

Hello dear Fiat-community, in search of the cheapest environmentally-preparable mobile kit I come again and again on the Fiat Seicento, which is illuminated as quite reliable, for almost 6000,- Euronen incl. VAT, transfer etc. The friendly Fiat dealer of my trust warns against these vehicles, he thinks that they are no longer built since 2008 and one can not imagine where they actually all come from. On the other hand, the small 600s will be mass in the Internet car exchanges offered. Who knows anything about when the Seicento production was discontinued, and can someone say something about these imported vehicles? Mille grazie, golf4sdi

  • How reliable is the New Fiat Croma? Fiat Croma vs. Nissan Qashqai / Mazda 6 etc…

Are looking for a second car, which is in any case bigger and more reliable than our small Seat Ibiza. We have seen the Fiat Croma &. (as diesel with 126hp). But have I now read horror/repair stories? A forum member was in a jar 33 times in the workshop… Except this car we still like the Mazda 6 (of which I have read that he should rust extremely quickly). We were disappointed by the Peugeot 308sw (also Diesel) (see inside billi) g out and the 3 seats in the back are narrow and uncomfortable) Or is the Nissan Qashqai (with gasoline engine 140hp) better? I drove it today and must say, I liked it quite well. Which car/brand can you recommend me? Do you think of a brand/model that I did not mention We think we will make about 15 000km /yearly with the car. Mainly city/overland. But already a longer journey from Spain (where I live) to Germany. U The big problem is that we don’t understand much about cars and therefore urgently need your help. Thank you, Ronja.
