Dear Fiat friends, my wife is currently driving a 10-year-old Brava 1.8 ELX with 113 hp and now wants to buy a new Fiat. She wants the current Bravo. For motorization, the question is whether the 90 hp or the 120 hp engine is the right choice. Sure, the 120’er is faster, but also considerably more expensive Therefore our question… Is the 90 hp machine “too” weak for the car? Especially in relation to the old 1.8 ELX with 113 hp (with its performance my wife Note: Air conditioning should also be included (as in the old)? I’m looking forward to your answers Greetings Summer57 PS: my wife is driving 80% city traffic. In ten years about 70t KM!

Questions about: Grande Punto, Punto, Panda
Hello have, since the scrapping premium tends to end, some questions about the Grande Punto, Punto and Panda. All 3 models would theoretically be in question. I have the following questions: about the Panda: – Says, apart from the lack of “eco” optimization as with the new Pandas something against taking an annual car? to the Punto (Classic): – Punto Classics are currently also sold (even as import from the European abroad, because in Germany they are officially no longer offered by FIAT). Does something speak against a Punto Classic? to the Grande Punto: – As with the Panda I am interested: speaks something against taking a year’s car? – How do I recognize, except by the possible different equipment whether it is a re-import? – How do I recognize whether it is a series 0, 1 or 2 Grande Punto? Which Pros and Contras speak for which car? It is mainly used in short distance traffic (up to approx. 5 km), but should also run longer distances sometimes. Which car offers the best cut between low consumption, low value loss, low operating costs (maintenance, inspection, spare parts), high safety? And which model is designed in such a way that you can (as I do with the current Punto 55 S) do it yourself and not have to do it because of every mess in the workshop? Are there any models from other manufacturers that meet my requirements better than the above mentioned 3 FIATs?

Fiat Punto Classic
can someone tell me how long the old Punto model will remain in the Fiat range? I find the offer extremely attractive, fully equipped as 5doors just 12000Euro official. What about the durability of the 1.2 8V engine? Is there still as many Probs with the ZKD or has been improved there since. What is it with warranty at Fiat. 2 years I believe, or. Is a connection guarantee possible and what does it look like? Ask for answer from the Fiat experts here. Thanks e

Fast driving with possible error message ???
Hello community, sometimes a short question between through, but to first the data: GP 1,2, Approved May 09, 4800 km down. Now my question, I just drove with the car a little more uncompromising, so very busy in curves, fast drives (as far as a 1.2r allows) and speeds in the red range for a short time. Afterwards or still during this fast drive my warning blic systems lit up, very fast light up and then it was over again. I wanted to f What does that mean? Vllt. a warning to the driver “Watch out, extreme range” ? Or how can I interpret this ?? Mfg

Sudden increase in performance
I drove yesterday with my Fiat Punto 1.9 jtd with 80 ps about 30 km on the highway and was all the time in the 5th gear, pedal fully penetrated and as usual it went from 140-150kmh no more really ahead. I drove so whole time with crossed pedal and all at once he had from one to the other a power increase of the very best, then was in the shortest time to 190kmh. When I released the pedal again and he was again so on 140 he Run like always. Has happened to me in the last week 3 times. But if net depends on the speed or something, is really totally unpredictable. May be that something is clogged on filter or lines, or maybe something is wrong with the turbo, because it generally seems to me as if the speed for 80ps is much too slow. Should maybe also say that I have a blackbox in it, should supposedly bring 20ps more of it you notice but net really a lot, Feels more like 5ps, can also be that the thing has a Macke somehow. Has one of you ever had similar problems, or knows what is lazy? Thank you already in advance

Tempra sometimes doesn’t fight
hi. have a problem with my old tempra. since a good year the car does not start about once a week. often it works after three to five try, but recently only after 1.5 std. whether it starts or not is independent of the weather, temperature etc. usually however when I have driven a short distance to shop/refuel, or when the sun has appeared on the bonnet. (?!?) in the start attempts the starter runs and the rest also sounds normal, except that e r just doesn’t start – until he suddenly does it. battery, spark plugs, gasoline pump and an empty-running motörchen (?) I have already replaced. would be great if someone had tips for me, what I can still do, because the gentlemen in the workshop don’t really know any more. thank you + hello.

Punto 176 starts worse and worse, now no longer
Hello! I have the following problem: Since the winter the Punto (my wife’s favorite) started worse and worse. The longer he stood (e.g. weekend ) the longer you had to org. Now he stood for a week and it’s not much more besides loud Georgele. Battery was completely empty, but also charged helped nothing. ADAC was there, candle out against mass… No spark at the start attempt. Previously he had noticed that he ran restless, especially when he was cold. Was with Fiat and the Diag showed a The Lambda I wanted to order now, but normally it should also start without Lambda, I think, right? First attempts: A ignition cable snapped on, changed, does not help anything. Since the similar bug descriptions in the net say that the Punto 176 likes to give up the ignition coils, I was with the scrap today and found some that already look changed, so newer than the car around it. For a 20s kan n do not harm the attempt: exchanged, does not help anything. Now I am a bit perplexed, especially since my ‘Now I help myself’ book has not reappeared after the move. Can someone give me a few search ways, how I can come to a solution? Unfortunately I only have almost everything there for the electrical part, so from the multimeter to the oszi. Mechanic measuring means so compression or similar missing. Would be really grateful for a help! Greeting, Astralix
