Problems Fiat Croma
Satisfied with the Fiat Croma…niemals!!! So after about 17500km the problems started….drive shaft, gear joint, wheel bearing,…the car was about 9 weeks in the workshop, one did not find the error….after that I got the car back, drove for a day….and already came a clattering out of the engine….Apparently during the test drive in the workshop the engine overturned…update Elektronik….Now the again 5 weeks in the workshop, the 4th cylinder is broken and not only d as looks like engine damage and the Fiat turns across… ..they say: According to the evaluation, MAn has overturned the engine 38x!?? Where was the speed limiter???? I think it’s time for: 1. turn on the lawyer 2. In March the leasing contract by complaint of defects (in Switzerland) But otherwise a fully horny hammer car…. 1.9JTD emotion with 18″ and everything in beige….Consumption close to 6.2l diesel…. Has anyone else had such weird experiences?

Seicento scrapped at 79,000 km?
Hello, we are thinking about getting a new Fiat Panda, since our 9 year old Seicento Sporting was the last time a lot in the workshop. Only new tank (two years ago), last year new cylinder head seal and ignition cable, because the Seicento has always had such small dropouts since last year, where it then no longer pulls properly (in winter it was almost gone). In between again and again smaller repairs. In April he was driven over the TÜV with the recommendation, exhaust is We had this done in May. Well, only a month later, he doesn’t drive up the underground parking hill (my husband thinks, probably the clutch), but he has driven up other mountains perfectly. However, it rattles again under the car, similar to how the exhaust was broken and he has more dropouts again, where he doesn’t pull properly for a few seconds. Furthermore, he drives more restless again. The mileage is at 79,000 We had now decided to take advantage of the scrapping premium and buy a new panda. However, it hurts me to have our seicento scrapped, because it doesn’t even have 80,000 km on it and is also a very nice car. What is your experience? Does the seicento really make a drop at 80,000 km? Is a repair still worth it? We have concerns that there will soon be the next problem, especially since the seicento has had this drop since last year, where e r for a few seconds does not accept gas or accelerate if you step on the gas and the workshop could not find the error. What would you do? Use scrapping premium? According to Fiat dealer we could get for the Seicento a maximum of 2600,- EUR, so we can also claim the scrapping premium, especially since the Seicento is currently mucking and who buys a broken car. I would like to hear your opinion on the problem. Thank you for your answers. Greetings Judith

Fiat Punto Selecta Automatic
Hello forum, I have the following problem: With my Punto Selecta (Bj. 1996) the gearbox cannot be switched cleanly from N to D or R – from P to R and back it is no problem. The “turn from N to D or R” only goes with great effort and sometimes I get a noise, as if you were trying to take a gear without the clutch. Further the engine dies when stopping sometimes. …and to bad last the automatic belt squeaks The transmission oil is clean, no chips on the oil tank magnet, the transmission oil filter only pollutes minimally, the transmission oil level is correct, the disc wheels in which the thruster belt runs are without any grooves, all parts in the control cover are clean and common. I suspect the magnetic powder coupling, but have zero documents for the transmission and find no documents for the transmission. More problem: The Fiat dealers in the mei ner area have no idea about the automatic transmission and always want to turn on an exchange gearbox quickly–>unfortunately exceed the prices (as well as a chapter for itself, the clutch should cost e.g. approx. 1100.- Euro!) then almost the time value of the Punto ́s. Can anyone help me??? Thank you.

Motor problem Punto 188 1.2 8V
Hello together, I have the Punto 1.2 8V from my sister-in-law standing here and with this she was already in 2 workshops because of the problem that the engine sporadically runs out and then does not start for about 20 minutes. Or even if the after refueling it often does not start. But if you disconnect the battery briefly (about 5 seconds) and then it starts again it runs again. The Check Engine lamp lights up and in the fault memory is always a ignition coil. Ignition coils have already been replaced with new parts and yesterday I measured the complete motor cable tree, tested all the important sensors (am car electrician at BMW) and could not detect any error. I also checked the cam and crankshaft sensor with the oscilloscope and these also work perfectly. Since the error can always be corrected by disconnecting the battery, I think that the error comes from the small motor control unit. What do you think? Greetings, Maxxel88

Guns on the rear axle Punto Sporting
Moin, moin. Since the latest, my Punto Sporting, year 7/04, gives knarr noises from the rear axle of itself. These are at slower driving, e.g. speed 30 zone, also audible. Of course only when the radio is not on I can understand the noises also in the stand. So if I park, open the tailgate and then load the trunk floor, e.g. with the weight of my upper body, and at the same time slightly wiggle, the noises also occur. Handbrake is not attracted, by the way, only fal. If someone should come up with the idea. If I load the front axle in the same way, i.e. bonnet on and then slightly wiggle with weight of upper body, it doesn’t creak, therefore I also know 100% that it comes from behind. But unfortunately I can’t say whether right, left or both sides. I guess also to know the causer, an acquaintance said that it is the feathers from the dampers that creak on the spring plates. That could be eliminated with a little bit of fat. actual question: What do you think about it? Could it actually be the feathers? Does fat help? or is there something defect? Still I have a guarantee. Just wanted to hear your opinions first. Thank you very much for greeting Surfkiller20

High consumption Bravo
Hello, Recently I bought a Bravo. What is totally surprising is that the consumption is overly high. I filled the car up to the stop, but I only got about 450km with it. Which is clearly too high even with sporty driving. What can this be about? I once heard of the hole in the exhaust that this possibly can drive up to 2 liters the consumption. When turning on it sometimes also smells a little bit of gasoline. I already have the spark plugs gear oil is also new inside.Coupling and everything are set. PS: I have 215/35 tyres and 18inch OZ rims. Can it be because of it? Mfg Cutty
