  • Defective power steering Punto II

Last week, my Punto (type 188) power steering failed. I was with the Fiat dealer and had the fault memory read out. He says the engine is defective. I had to convince the mechanic to look at the fuses, but they were ok. Price of a new material 788 € incl. VAT + installation. Then I went to my free workshop, where the car is usually serviced. I had seen in the WWW that an online dealer had the engine But my workshop had probably re-informed itself at three Fiat workshops, all of which unanimously said that it would only be worth changing the engine and control unit, because there might be communication difficulties. In other words, it would be lucky if it worked afterwards. What about it, who has experience of just changing the engine?

  • Ducato 3,0-60 with bouncing engine

Hello! I write for an acquaintance who in Dec. 09 bought a Womo (Weinsberg 670 MEG) on Ducato 3.0 – 160 base. The first trip went 7km far to the tank, there he then stopped in the middle of the Bundesstr. across the road and took no more gas. 10 minutes later the good piece got comfortable again and acted as if nothing had been done. On the next WE trip then after approx. 15km the warning light of the engine management went on – cause: air quantity meter. In this connection, two relays (coupling and gas pedal) were also renewed in connection with the air volume meter. Since then, the vehicle (more than 3 weeks) has been in the workshop without any further result. The engine control unit should be in order (according to measurement). The vehicle should be delivered to my acquaintances again in one week, if I am honest, if I am honest, the engine control unit should be in order. I would like to say that it will be worse than before. Because so far it has only been in cruise control – after the first workshop stay, the bocking has already extended to normal driving. Does anyone have an idea what it can be??? Or does anyone even know the problem??? Thank you in advance.

  • 1. Inspection Panda 4×4 Multijet

First good day to all – is my first entry I have a Panda 4×4 Multijet BJ 2009 new car since Sept. 2009. Now I was at the first inspection after 22000 km: cost point 230 Euro (Austria/Tyrol) – changed oil, oil filters and also air filters and pollen filters. I am interested whether this corresponds to the prescribed performance at the first inspection (for example, after 30000 km only oil and oil filters were blown at our VW)? Where do I see the oil filter, did not feel the I have to unscrew the aluminium protection below or can I get there differently? I want to check if there were original Fiat parts installed, with the oil no Selina was used (at least a sign with another brand hangs in the engine compartment).

  • Problem car 100HP

Hello, I got my 100HP new in Dec. 2007. The first 24 months the thing was also fine. Good driving characteristics, great acceleration and a super chassis. Hardly the warranty time has expired, already the defects begin. after 26 months (approx. 25000km) wheel bearing at the rear right defective. After now 30 months (29000km) my 100HP simply stopped. Then with three cylinders still to the workshop of my trust (now no longer). There it is now, for six days, first diagnosis Z Misdiagnosis. When checking the compression was detected, no compression on the second cylinder. Unfortunately no further feedback so far. Does anyone have the same problems so far? Greetings Magiccarlos

  • Croma Unround Motor Run Suddenly

Hello, For several days now one or two cylinders have been missing without any reason after normal driving. So I have an unround motor run. The first time he went into the emergency run so hard that I could not drive even three KMH. And now the second time he did not go into the emergency run as much as the other time he could still drive. I still parked him at the next rest place for safety reasons, because I thought that the Katalysa This was confirmed in retrospect by the opening of the bonnet and view of the cat. I have now left the car to cool down again and can assume that if the car is cold all this will work again. Has someone shown an idea among other things. ESP error ABS error Auto hold brake although mine, I don’t even think has that. -No learned screwdriver but am Well-believing.

  • Release HVO

According to the following report https://…hip-de.cdn.ampproject.org/…/…er-released_1023718?… Stella has issued an extensive release of the diesel vehicles for HVO. This could be an interesting aspect for vehicles that do not come through the ASU due to the particulate emission. HVO has much less particle measurement, the combustion runs cleaner. It would be advisable for the vehicles that have already come close to the ASU to refuel this fuel sufficiently beforehand. to have the systems clean. A particulate filter is more expensive than the extra fuel cost.

  • Remove Fiat Freemont seat cover

Hello together, for a few weeks I am the owner of a freemont diesel with 170 hp, automatic, 121tkm, EZ 2015, very well maintained from second hand after a year in the car dealership as demonstration car. Perfectly documented. Unfortunately shortly after purchase oil loss between drive shaft front right and transmission but I give that to the workshop. Nevertheless: I would like to get the maintenance condition (children!!) and got for the seats protective covers. Now, however, at the freemont the headrests of the Front seats are wired with impact protection. In order to cover the seats, however, you do not come around to extend the headrests, for this you have to pull the cable off. In order to separate the cable, the rear seat cover of the front seats must be removed. I already tried it, pulled it quite vigorously/pulled in all possible directions, without success. Will not scrape anything, therefore my question: has someone done this before, how does it work? (I know, by the way, that this is not advised, said cable I don’t think you can start an electronic problem when everything is wired correctly before the battery is connected.) Would be great if someone could help me. Thanks already and a lot of greetings Mottor

  • X 1/9 Infos

Hello together! I’m playing with the idea of buying my girlfriend her X 1/9. (Was her first car and it’s been in the garage for 5 years – but was restored before decommissioning at that time.) I estimate the condition to be 3 (but maybe I’m also too pingy). Transmission and new doors he needs – otherwise everything looks pretty good. Except for the usual little things. And ‘n 2. there’s a battle drive. Is Bj. 80 or 81. My question, where can I find information about the car? Here are some models, motorization, possibly fags list for old vehicles etc.? At google you are looking for yourself almost dead and I just need some standard information. What do I have to pay attention to? What’s good, what’s not? Am I quite assuming that I can drive an H-mark, starting from a vehicle age of 25? (or was it 30 years?) What does a car swallow? What about spare parts? Thanks already in advance for your “help”

  • Please read urgently and give judgment…!!!!

Hello together. I just experienced something unimaginable. My Stilo Abarth didn’t want to jump on this morning’s suspect-hole starter defective, I did have a breakdown help and let it come. After 30 minutes running around with his measuring device He said he wants to put on the car. I said how He wants to do that, because that’s a selespeed. He says that. Okay, I thought he was the supposed expert. So the car was standing at me in the driveway and this is about 100 Met He dragged my car backwards even though the 1 forward was in motion, the one hundred meters long drive up because he thought he could then let the car down and He started. (Didn’t know how He wanted to do it, because of the clutch, but He is the expert.) After 50 meters the first bang in the engine compartment and plastic parts on the road under the car to tow. He allegedly heard nothing and continued, 4 meters further the next bang, this time so loud there the neighbors already looked out of the windows what is going on. Again plastic under the car… After unscrewing the engine protection one saw that the entire intake tract is shattered and broken away everywhere. The bangs were beautiful small explosions/misfires. Super I thought now Stilo really in the ass. He, I glued that again, I what????? In addition, since the in the display drive malfunction brings vehicle to the expert. What do you mean more defkt have gone or only the sucker, I mean that’s what made people hear through closed windows. And I don’t live in the countryside in a town where everything is still sounding. Who pays for the damage that has happened now? Best regards Henry
