  • do not get the suspension leg/VA removed at Punto 188

Hello Schraubergemeinde, has to remove the entire spring leg in order to break the spring leg at the front right. Unfortunately I can not get the two lower hold screws out. I got the mother off, I can also turn the screws (although with a lot of force). I sprayed rust solvers already a lot on it earlier. If I hit the hammer on the other hand nothing moves! Even with the upper screw where you can run well. Do you have a tip for me? Thanks & Greeting dachips

  • Small problems with Fiat Punto

Hello, have a Punto Bj.94, 75 HP, 5-Gg., 95000 km for 3 months now. Unfortunately, there are a few bugs now. Since I don’t get a precise forecast here in Mallorca, let alone a cost estimate, you can give me a few clues about the causes. It would also be interesting if I could repair it myself (tool, pit and two “right hands” available). 1. Heating smells musty in operation (dusty?). 2. Switch lever squeaks when moving from right to On the left, however, only after a longer ride. 3. Occasional grinding noises when starting from the glove compartment. After restart is quiet. 4. Occasional problems when inserting the second or the reverse gear, if the clutch is not completely penetrated. The clutch is relatively difficult and when passing through there is a resistance somewhere, but you can then step a bit further. Somehow the pressure point is not exactly defined. The coupling train is fine. If the clutch is down, can you replace it yourself? 5. The oil tank is infested with the rust, however, does not sound as if you are about to knock off. I was advised to exchange it here, but not in Germany. Does anyone have experience regarding the lifespan? Is the exchange difficult? Thank you very much. Kai

  • Fiat Coupe 16V Turbo

I’m in the situation to buy a new car again. However, it should not cost more than 7,000€. I looked for a Fiat Coupe at www.mobile.de and saw that you already get it quite cheaply. The 16V Turbo seems to me to be the best. Do you have any tips on what I should pay attention to when buying it? What does this look like with the engine? Are there many problems and and and? Or would you advise me not to buy it? Repent me already on your answers. Greetings Tille

  • Vine ribbed belt squeaking – mass death of pears

Hello, my Tipo 1.4 he just started to run well again, after I had made the ZKD with timing belts, ribbed belts and also the valves were adjusted. With D3 retrofitted and tight in the exhaust, he pulls nicely and runs better than ever before. So now to the problem: Tuesday rain, ribbed belts squeak as if he were slipping through. But he wasn’t too loose, instead one hears a (stock) noise. Belts off. Lima and wapu let themselves e I had already thought the lima could block it. However, it has a somewhat cored running tone. Belts on it again. Except for the noise everything ok. A day later both H4 headlights (dipped light) and rear light HL are broken, on one impact. Apart from the fact that I have constantly problems with the broken H4 plugs of the front pears, I stood at night during the ride quite in the dark, as if the lima would not load any more. but makes 14,6V in the empty run and with far light strangely rather a little more. With all imaginable consumers it does not go under 13 V. At the start 10V. I suspected the plugs in, exchange against VW quality can do nothing harm. But the lima also seems funny to me. Strangeness at the run: the belt discs of crankshaft and lima have 4 furrows, the wapu only 3. Still to supplement: from time to time the radio goes off and goes at some point, usually quickly again. one of you rhymes with it? Vaterfin is just online Report Post Edit/Delete

  • Peared by the fiat dealer

Hello bought me a new car on 20.07.2007 – with extension warranty (shall heisen I bought another third year guarantee) now today at the first tuev date was determined that the stabi (yes correct the stabbilizer and not the coupling rods) has failed now I thought yes guarantee and look right at the friendly past – and then the shock… I had service booklet with me as well as the extension warranty booklet and policy since every year customer service was done In 2008 and 2009 I thought there was no problem. when the master entered my guarantee number in the computer, he found nothing, he called those and said to me that there would not be a number and never a contract came about. harm I have to wear myself. now I stood there like a cast poodle with my papers which all apparently should be waterproof but absolutely worthless. —-because: the fiat dealer has sealed (insolvent) and according to the fiat der pure dealer would have given me the guarantee and not fiat. what can I do now?? mfg

  • Fiat are fucking carts ???

Hello, stop, before you spit on me, read first….. I started my automibile cariere with a Panda 45Ps and except that he quickly rusted he ran great, then a Cinquecento (please forgive typing mistakes ), then in a year two times the head seal went over the Jordan… nice and good, after that there was a (my first new) Seicento Sporting with 55 HP So the trouble started, brake discs moved in the two years (40,000km) 3 times on guarantee, W Asser in the footroom, first driver’s side, then passenger’s side, light without function (cable break)… then I sold it. In short I was very disappointed by FIAT. Now to the actual question… My parents have only bought FIAT since human thought (without bad surprises)… …the NEW one should become after your Bravo A 1,4 75 SX a PANDA (a new one) with the 1.2er 8V: -WOUH IT HEUTUTUTAGE WITH THE QUALITY OF FIAT FROM, PANDA, PUNTO, STILO??? Thank you for your GEDund, please describe Your experiences in the last days… Always good driving Florian

  • Still “F.ehler I.n A.llen T.eilen”?

Tach zusammen! I have a general question: I am currently very interested in the FIAT Stilo 1.9 JTD Bj. from 2003, because I like the car in general, he has this as I find great folding glass roof *sabber*, so far actually got quite good reviews, has a great serial equipment and is certainly a great everyday car, quasi a so-called “reason car”. BUT: Wouldn’t that be the classic “Italian” image… Anyone who hears FIAT or Alfa Romeo (Lancia too?), he says stmal: “Oh no, just no Italian – there is more in the workshop than in the traffic jam on the street!” And the well-known sayings: “FIAT=Faule Italian works Expensive” or “Bug In Allen Teilen”, which brings the inclined potential buyer into the pondering again, whether he/she really wants to take the risk or if it should be a reliable and usually better processed Japanese … Can someone from (Stilo/Alfa 147-)Erfa Is this cliché still up-to-date or is it a thing of the past for those vehicles? Thank you for your feedback in advance! For those about to rock… 🙂 Rottensquirrel

  • Problems with Fiat Uno

Hello, I’ve had a Fiat Uno, 1988 for about half a year. The car has been driving very well so far, I have now also got it again via the TÜV (crossbars and brakes have been made), but now the car is causing big problems. If I had known that before, I might have scrapped it rather, but since I have already invested 500 euros incl. TÜV/AU, I would not like to do this now. The car is running out of gas all the time. and relatively high speed he drives without any problems, i.e. highway rides are no problem at all, but otherwise he only drives still rucking and goes out immediately when I step the clutch. In the workshop it was said that the throttle valve potentiometer has to be replaced, but the part would be at the moment difficult to procure and expensive … In addition, yesterday at the tank filler the pipe dissolved, then dirt poured down. That would then have to be welded (??). that the problems also come from impurities in the tank? By the way, the petrol filter has only just been changed. I don’t know any more if the repairs will not be a barrel without a floor, I don’t really have any money left for it anymore as a student, I just put a lot of money in it. I would be happy about serious tips, advice. Maybe someone also has an idea where I can get such a used throttle valve potentiometer.
