I bought a Fiat Coupe a week ago. the articles you read here don’t sound very promising. e.g. bearing damage on the engine, engine runs restless, timing belts torn etc. Is the car really so bad and vulnerable? I bought the car from a Toyota dealer with 17,000 km and 1 year warranty. What can I do, for example, that I don’t get any bearing damage? What maintenance work do I have to do so that I can drive as long as possible? Thank you for every contribution…

Hello I can buy for my mother a Fiat Panda 1.1 liter Jg 92 with 124000 KM Automat cheaply. He has “no” rust and is fresh from TüV and from large service ( Auspuff new, all liquids replaced etc.). What is there to check before the purchase? Is the engine durable? Is the automat reliable? Price is 900 Euro (OK…bin from Switzerland and cheaper is not possible with us). So, after my Punto is now a new timing belt, water pump and cylinder head gasket I have only a poblem with it^^ And that always as soon as I turn the key the warning light of the single-pointing system runs out and after about 5sec again.
