Hello first of all, I really hope that someone here might have a tip for me. Drive a Fiat Seicento Sporting from 1999. On the way to work my little one went out 5 times today. Each time I had to stop or if the speed was relatively low. 4 of the 5 times he then jumped perfectly again at the last time but it didn’t work at first and after a minute I tried again and then it just went with a lot of gas. Before the engine started to get around I already had a distance of about 25 km almost all the highway behind me (so the engine was definitely not cold anymore). For the way home I had already set myself up for the worst, but oh miracle he stayed nice on. What can that be, about 4 weeks ago this happened to me already and afterwards he ran like a lukewarm again. Does anyone have an idea or a good advice? Thanks already.

10tkm Check- Can I be there?
Hello, since I have had bad experiences with another car where parts were allegedly installed, but which were never installed, I would now like to make an appointment for the 10t km check but on the condition that I can be present in the workshop and watch. Do I have the right to do so? How long does this take about, and what is done? May I insist on bringing my own oil or do I lose the guarantee? With what costs do I have to calculate approximately And what tricks do I have to reckon with, where is this being claimed and that has to be exchanged? Thanks and greeting Cindy

Climate retrofitting: possible?
Hello @ all I would have a topic and probably a lot of questions to the real experts among you. It should be known to some that I drive a Punto 55 176. And I won’t give it to you either. My current craft object (Nissan 100 NX, with Targadach, this summer will be great !!!) is almost finished and will register this car soon. And if this time I want to leave the Punto unregistered and do a lot of it. And when I’m on it, the I There are enough parts dispensers in my region on the junkyards. And I also got a very cheap offer from someone known to my parents to take over an accidented Punto but 60. So parts are not the problem I think and also the time to tinker is not so decisive. I already realize that it will be a huge effort. If it is stupid the whole dashboard must go out, even the engine with all the gears In order to exchange the heater and blower box and to lay all the pipes. At the end new liquid has to be clean. All this is secondary. And there are/there were also 55 Punto ́s with air conditioning. Now all the questions ask: Is it even feasible to retrofit a climate from a technical point of view? Would the parts from the 60s fit? But what parts have to come from a 55s in particular? Can these parts also come from Seicento and Panda 1,1? You see, Fr I would be delighted if you would take part in this topic. Greetings AUTOFREAK P.S. Punto 4 ever

Brake squeaks, but not when braking
The last time my brakes start to squeak after a while. I notice it only at speeds below 60km/h, but it can also be that they squeak when I drive faster. If I press the brake then it disappears. As soon as I release the brake, it starts immediately again. But as I said, it doesn’t start right when I go off, but only after a while, maybe 15 minutes or so. I have the Fiat Punto 188, built in 2000. I can’t say exactly whether it’s coming from the front or from the back. But I’d say it’s coming from the front. Thank you for your help! Greetings

Buy or not? Please help me!
Moin, Moin together so far I only drove around in the Escortforum, but since the Tüv wants to divorce us I am looking for something new just on the here and wanted to ask if the price is ok and if the car is recommended or on what one should pay special attention (had up to now only Escorts): Fiat Marea 1.6 16V Weekend ELX 1.Hand EZ 02/1999 67,000 km 76 kW (103 hp) ABS, El. Window lifter, El. immobilizer, checkbook maintained, power steering, central locking , front airbags, Euro D3 Kat, air conditioning, el. ausenspiegel, velour, radio/casette, mitel armrest, roof railing, cargo space cover. When buying Tüv and AU is made new. Price: 1.980 EUR The DAT list is not a big help to me since it starts from a much higher km-stand. Actually I wanted to spend only max. 1500.-, but the low km-performance is naturally tempting. Maybe you could also act. Tomorrow I want to look at the car, would be nice if one here before w I would like to thank you very much in advance.

Moin from the North – a new one introduces itself
Moin, after having driven a V70 D5 for the last 5.5 years up to 330,000 km and bought me a new second car at the beginning of this year, had a replacement for the Volvo. Since the second car has enough cargo space I have now landed at a Fiat. It is a Fiat Grande Punto 1.3 Diesel Active Multijet 16V; EZ 2008; 1,248 cm3; 55 KW / 75 hp; 82,000 km. The little one will now accompany me from the end of the week on my daily work journey of approx. 120 km. When buying a new car, my size of almost 200 cm was the main problem. The Punto offered most of the space on the driver’s seat in the area of diesel-powered small cars. You don’t even look at it from the outside. In my free time I am standing on all-wheel drive exotics from the east. Currently I have a UAZ 452 Bj 1979 beside the Honker, which is currently for sale. For all interested parties there is still a few information on my website.

Shit… ..my Fiat Bravo can’t stand an E10… just noticed…
The problem is: I’ve been in the hot test phase since Christmas and I haven’t noticed anything about the whole E10 discussion. Once I’ve been in 10-14 days and finished… Today I’ve become aware of it through the news, have looked up the Internet and see here: Fiat Bravo model designation 182 can’t handle E10. What now? With what damages do I have to re don’t know if I’ve filled E10, have always taken Super, would I have noticed that if the E10 is? Isn’t it super on the tap, but Super E10? Since when exactly is E10 being offered? I’ll search out all the ticket slips to check out… Can I do something now? Just so I understand this correctly:I have no other way than to refuel the expensive Super Plus? Thank you for your tips! P.S. Besides all the other reasons, E10 z u boycott – please do it for me too

Fiat Panda does not start (crash box)
I drive a Fiat Panda 1.1 (EZ 5/09) version actual-active, imported from Poland, but bought by German dealer. He didn’t jump in mid-November, but battery was ok. As an indicator, the symbol shown and commented on in the operating instructions on pages 72 and 117 (middle column below) (it is located in the instrument panel below the temperature indicator in the middle column, 2nd position from left). According to operating instructions, it has to do with the EOBD system and knows The reason was simple, but it was only to be fixed in the workshop (after towing, etc.) because I didn’t know anything about the “Fire-protect-system” or the crash-box, which is located at the front left of the driver’s seat. In the lift of a lambskin cover over the seat, I had apparently caused the mechanism of the crash-box by some touch (in the event of an accident, it is probably caused by considerable damage, among other things. This crash box consists of a kind of metal hood, in the middle of which a rubber is placed on the surface. The solution in my case was very simple: press the thumb in the middle, you can feel a resistance under the rubber that you press down. After that the engine starts again as usual! Unfortunately, nothing is to be read in the operating instructions of this device. The mechanic told me that he already had a similar effect. At a Punto, the mechanism of the crash box was activated as soon as you let the seat slide backwards or forwards with “Schmackes”. Watched for other models: The crash box does not always appear to be sitting in the described position under the driver’s seat.

Part prices + hourly prices + part exchange
Hello together. I have to get rid of my anger here about Fiat and the workshops (also free).First nuisance : On my Idea the electric power steering has failed (I have already reported)Diagnosis in the first workshop : motor of the power steering defective. Inquiry at Fiat : it can only be replaced the entire steering column. Estimate : 1409 Euro. The workshop orders the complete steering column without asking me and then makes me,after not the repair They could not return the part anymore, because it also contains electrical components. I nevertheless had nothing done there. Now they refuse to take over other work for me.Diagnosis in the second workshop : Engine of the power steering defective. Request at Fiat : the servo motor must be changed. Estimate : 540 Euro.Diagnosis in the third workshop : A mass error. Cost of error removal : 25 Euro. Error was ordered. Second annoyance : Preventive after 70,000 km timing belts with pressure roller and water pump renew. Estimate in the first workshop : 563 Euro Estimate in the second workshop . 408 Euro. Estimate in the third workshop : Execution of the entire work : 100 Euro. I can bring my own new parts ordered on the internet for a total of 89 Euro. Third annoyance : The first two workshops calculate their hourly prices based on Fiat times. the third workshop sets its hourly prices itself. It is thus considerably cheaper and nevertheless does good work. And you can bring spare parts yourself. Do you have similar experiences? What do you think of this type of customer service?

Surrender while giving gas … alternator ?
Hi leutz I had a broken cylinder head gasket and had it replaced me. when I picked up the car and drove a while I had, after I filled up at the tank and then started to pick it up for the second time after, when giving gas a noise … sounds like a whirring that occurs in the lower turning zone but in all walks … I drove back to the workshop and the mechanic said that it might be due to the engine wash. he meant it’s the lighting machine and I’m supposed to see if the noise disappears tomorrow by itself, he said it might be because there’s still something wet … can you confirm his suspicions ? and assuming my lighting machine is gone, how expensive would it be if I had to eliminate the cause of the noise making ? thx jaX
