  • 5W 40 to 10W60?

I have read in the Alfa Forum the 10W 60 (Selenia or Castrol Racing) with the best oils on the market. Since I drive a lot (900-1000 km a week), and I would like to save fast, I did not want to use the oil. At the moment I drive a 5W 40 or 10W 40 (the previous owner is not quite sure). Can I use the 10W 60 oil easily? Another thing: A car mechanic told me that when changing oil you should fill in diesel instead of oil that car should run 10 min in the stand la Let off (without giving gas) and fill in the other oil. Should be the best way to clean the engine. Is there anything to it? Thank you in advance!

  • Official photos of the new Croma, your opinion?

So finally, after years of waiting and inaction, Fiat, with a vehicle based on the Opel signum, returns to the important segment of the middle class. Here are the first official photos showing the new Croma from all sides. The new design line will probably be found in other Fiat models as usual. What do you think of the new design and how do you assess the market opportunities?http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/d/74398http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/d /74440 Greetings Henrik

  • Punto MyLife driver here?

Hello everybody, I am standing before buying a Punto Evo MyLife 1.2 3-door and wanted to ask you what was so pricey when buying it. So far I was only with a dealer and I got the following offer: Vehicle price 12.990€ + Easy Listening White 500€ + Conveyance 650€ + Delivery package(???) 200€ = 14.34€ – 3.000€ MyLife – 440€ Dealer discount = 10.90€ Final price All in all of course a great price for the car, but the dealer discount comes to me very mickri g. Do you have any tips on what else you could knock out? Would my first new car and the carrots I’ve driven so far have never been involved in negotiations?

  • Fiat Punto 188 overheats despite reperture

Hi, I’m in despair. My Fiat Punto 188 overheated after short running time. For this reason he was sent to the reperatur. On arrival the mechanic looked under the hood, grabbed the cooler hoses and said they were so bulging that the temperature sensor had to be. So the AND the water pump was renewed. After 5 days of smooth operation the Punto suddenly became hot again. So I returned to the workshop and then they said it was the cylinder head seal. So w Unfortunately the Punto still gets hot. The only thing I noticed: In the engine room there is a hose on the right side of the cracker. This one remains cool, the cooler itself remains cool and the heating only goes when the car is driving. Please get help, since I absolutely don’t know any more… … many thanks

  • Additions 2 measure oil in diesel – consumption benefits?

Hello Together, how are your experiences regarding consumption reduction by the addition of 2 measure oil to the Mutijet diesel engines? Drive the Croma Multijet 16v with diesel particulate filter and would like to start with it now at a KM of 70,000 (250 ml per tank filling). When you deal with the topic some report a consumption decrease of approx. 0.2-0.5l/100KM. At the consumption decrease I have doubts, but not about a rounder and smoother engine run. he feedback I am happy. Greetings, sedicivalvole m

  • Sudden power loss – indication for injection system on

Hello all, I had a strong “PS loss” yesterday after the lamp for the injection system (1.3 Multijet Grande Punto) started. Since I had already had to do the 30,000 inspection already already, I brought the car to the FIAT dealer today. Conclusion: allegedly the air mass meter and the contact sensor is broken or “totally rust”, they changed both immediately (without asking me) and besides the material costs almost 200 EUR (!) labor costs and alone calculated for reading the fault memory 50 EUR and booked the rest for the exchange of the two parts and test drives. Apart from being pissed off that something was repaired here on my own without calling me before: can a defective LMM really lead to the fact that I hardly get up the mountain with the 2nd gear and my car has blown out white-blue smoke while (cold) starting for some time? Would you like to hear your opinion.

  • Fucking with the KfZ dealer?

Hello all, I want to sell my Grande Punto and stumble now just a little while looking through my purchase documents at the time. I bought a Grande Punto 1.3 MJ Dynamic with DPF, as well as side/head airbags, radio/CD and heat protection glazing. Of course with even more accessories, but this seems to me to be missing! Was an import car from Austria. At that time already a cassette radio was in (works radio), which I had criticized, but did not bother me any further because i Now I noticed that the seats don’t have airbag covers, which they must have. Likewise, my exhaust is totally worn out, despite the alleged DPF? I am absolutely lay and was therefore assuming that everything is okay with the car. I think they have subjugated some basic model here, can it be? How can I verify this to knock on the dealer’s door if necessary – from the basic model to the D ynamic is almost 2000 EUR difference. Thanks & LG

  • Panda 169 tyre experiences/recommendations 165 “Teer cutter”

Servus! After my winter tires [Goodyear UltraGrip 7+] do not survive the next winter [almost reached wear limit, profile depth smaller than 4mm] I need or want new ones. The tires have kept up to now almost 25,000 km. It should come up by the end of April [snow and ice hopefully away] again about 3,000 km. The tires have good traction/side guide forces, even on rough roads in the mountains, and I am satisfied. However, the tires will be with decreasing professional l a little louder. But don’t disturb me, mostly the stereo system is quite noisy. Which tires are you driving? How are your experiences with winter tyres? Next topic: Summer tires I still have the original Firestone FS 590 “Fuelsaver” on it. I’m not satisfied with them. I want a tire that “gripps”, because I don’t care about the consumption. The Firestones slide in wet already in timidly approached curves. Is everything easy to control but happy I am with the They still have about 18.000 km down and look, especially on the flanks, quite finished. After I don’t want to take this tire again I would be interested in which summer tires you ride and how you are satisfied.
