Hello, my Punto I (Bj95, 200tkm) gives up the mind and I want to prevent it as soon as possible. To do everything right I drove directly after the red Temp. warning light went to the workshop, there they had told me after 10 minutes of testing that the cylinder head seal is in the eimer. Repair costs 1000Euro incl. material. Since then I drove with the car no more meters. The amount seemed to me a little too much, and therefore I will also be it on a weekend The only thing I can’t do is to grind the plan. Is this absolutely necessary? How can you measure the displacement of the cylinder head? If it’s a duty to grind the cylinder head when changing the ZKD, where could you let it be done? Thank you in advance, Greeting, Manni

How reasonable is a Lancia Dedra SW TD?
Hello, was just at my dealer and saw there a Lancia Dedra SW with the 2 liter turbodiesel. I liked best (the opinion does not agree with everyone – but the taste is Lancias. I find the SW in itself very nice, but the outer color in goldmetallic and the inner color in beige/brewed Alacantara I find great! 😉 But that’s not all! Because unfortunately the machine already has about 180000 kilometers on it – apparently only long distance, but I The car has probably only got new shock absorbers (all around) and a few other things. What about this car (especially engine and longevity) to hold! Can you have a few more years of fun on this car? I am a big Lancia fan myself and have already driven a Dedra SW, but was a 1.6 (90 hp) back then and he was already OK, but not the racer in terms of driving performance. Otherwise a great car. I am looking for momenta n just a “favorable” (he should also be fun) everyday replacement for my Delta (HF integrale) and I just thought that this Dedra would be a nice alternative after all. What do you think about it? THANK YOU for all the tips.

<<< Survey >>> MX-5 NA or Barchetta at 1.90m ??
Hello people ! I would like to get a roadster as second car in the near future. This should be in a frame of max. 4000 EUR. Since my knowledge only the MX5 or the Barchetta come into question. I would be interested in which vehicle you have a little more space. With my height of 1.90m (slim) this is an extremely important and decisive factor. I would also be grateful about other pro and contras, but please no opinions on the design. ache. I hope that you will be able to participate and help me! Greetings Chris

Fiat Punto My Life – Parking aid installed correctly?
Hello together, we now own the Punto My Life for 3 weeks. The dealer has built us a parking aid still with and I am not really satisfied with this. Is around a Waeco parking aid mwe 810. I had to park earlier quite close to the wall, vllt. 10-15cm distance and the parking aid gave this “endless” tone of itself that you have to stop immediately. I did not know now whether behind me was an obstacle or whether it was on the wall. Get out and see, that behind me everything is free. So it was on the wall. Then I looked at the sensors and it seems to me that the outer sensors were mounted too far outside. What do you think about it? Here’s a picture. I would be very happy about a few tips. Lg behnaaam

Fiat Qubo from 2010
Hello! I am looking for a new practical, low-carbon and family/old compatible compact PKW, have previously driven GolfVariantDiesel. After sighting the European manufacturer market, I now swirl between the Fiat Qubo NaturalPower (natural gas) and the Skoda Roomster Diesel. Since I don’t have nerve and money to bathe all automotive child diseases and misconstructions, I would be happy if (fiat) natural gas driver and Roomster owner with at least 30,000 km “running leistu My problem: Although Fiat has been building natural gas engines for over 50 years, the reports about the relatively high-speed “down-sized” engines in CNG operation with just 70 hp are quite contradictory. I am happy about every tip I can understand as a technical layman. Luzt

CROMA 194: Problems with track rod, etc.
Hello together, I have been driving a CROMA JTD 1.9 since August 2006 and I’m basically satisfied with the car. Unfortunately, at just under 150 Tkm the topics start with the wear. For example, a track rod is defective. Lt. Workshop, however, there is the replacement only in the package with a new steering and not single. Incl. installation should cost the whole about 1.100 €. Is the statement correct that the track rods are not single but only in the set? According to information from Fiat at 150 Tkm. also the change of the timing belt has to be done, also with me the problem with the exhaust gas return valve has set itself (knocking between 1600 and 2000 rpm, LMM is probably ok), inspection and TÜV is due, come easy approx. 2.500 € to me. Does perhaps jmd. a cheap and good workshop on the Lower Rhine, with which I can get a counter offer? Thank you in advance Greeting Marcus

Fiat Stilo 1.8 16V Built 02 Engine problems —
Hello guys, I have the following problem: I had my engine overhauled after a capital engine damage (from the tensioning roller on the timing belt is a bit broken and has everything adjusted -> Valves broken) . The cylinder head has been completely reworked and welded, new valves and valve shaft seals inside, piston reworked, tooth and V-belt replaced, phasers replaced, new pleu bearings, piston rings and water pump are installed. . 4000€. Now to the actual problem: Since the engine has been overhauled, it runs smoothly, but 3rd – 5th gear it falls between 3000 and 4000 revolutions into a total power hole where it almost no longer comes out. In my opinion, the suction noise and the stuttering sound as if it were only running on 3 pots in this area. However, I’m not sure. Strangely, this was not there before the engine damage! The workshop said that maybe it was a After I had installed the original air filter box, the problem persisted. After the first error reading, the PC indicated that the lambda probe heater was defective behind the KAT. After the change there was no improvement. The master of this workshop and I are baffled! I think that this problem was not there before, since I had only about 90hp xD before (the engine was quite at the end). After re-reading at the ATU I now have the error code: P0304 Combustion cylinder 4 ; Burn-outs detected. What else could that be? I really have no idea anymore -.- Can someone help me maybe? Thanks in advance! Mfg: Nico

Is the Fiat 1.6 16V engine with 76kW known to go solid?
Hello Forumgemeinde! First greetings to everyone! I have a problem. My Multipla with 1.6 machine got stuck with a short, loud whistle. Before it sounded completely ok. I had the timing belt in suspicion, which was made 1.5 months ago – but it is still lying on. Strange is that the engine is completely fixed. So you can make the 1st gear in and 2 men swipe it in front and back. Despite the high power, nothing moves on the engine and timing belt drive. is there a known problem with the piston or crankshaft? Thanks a lot Kathleen PS: Oil was enough in and also changed. Stilo oils, what is it (see picture)
Hello! Now for the first time a problem with my beloved Stilo. The garage entrance had got small droplets. So water is not, is greasy. Now I have looked in the garage and see this also small spots. In the appendix I have an old picture, from what I go out, where the oil drips out (see red circle). What is slightly dirty black now is much crazier! Will send you a more up-to-date picture as soon as possible. What is this? Is that the gearbox and if so, what could it come from, that it loses oil or is it something else? I am grateful for every help, because he has to go to TÜV in 2 weeks and I don’t know if he sees it so well… Thank you! Greetings

Brake caliper lacquer foil Tec – does the TÜV cause problems?
Hi! I ordered the brake caliper varnish from Folietec at ebay in red. Now I have to go to HU and AU on Tuesday and wanted to ask if the TÜV has something against it? And can I install the brake system on the car without disassembly? Has anyone ever done this before? Is that enough for 4 brake calipers plus the 4 x the distance between the brake disc until the rim is attached? Greeting
