Repair book, which one?
Today I got my repair book “So wirds wirds! Band 72” by Etzold. I can only say that the thing is under all the dirt! There are circuit diagrams only in part. My 1.6L Zetec is just striped although this book is supposed to treat all models. Air conditioning is not treated at all. Pictures are not correct, and and and…. I would have been able to throw the money into the gully, so I would have heard at least again climpering! So from my Chevy I am used to there other things (Chiltons and Haynes). And to change a disc wiper, I don’t have to buy a rep book. So is there any useful literature about the MK7 1.6L Zetec?

Strong jerking at slow speed
Hi, have a Escort Tournier 1.6l 90PS DOHC,Bj.94 For some time now, I have been having an animally strong jerk when starting slowly,as if the engine doesn’t want to, then the clutch sets off full throttle (sprutz sprutz) and then it comes so slowly in drive that I can uncouple. It doesn’t always do that, but always more often. Is there something on the engine???????? new spark plugs he already has and last week also an oil change with light running oil incl. filter. Can someone listen to this idea before I drive into the workshop and which give me an immensely high bill though then maybe something else is. So !!!!!!!!!!! is here someone from the corner AC\K who could take a quick look and then tell me what it is so that I can see if that’s still worth it, even though I hang on the car. gruss and thx in advance

Everything FORD or what?
Hello guys, here’s a totally crazy, useless and actually completely senseless invitation: If you love your Ford, please just write a small, fine statement under this text and “founded” briefly why. —> See what comes together in a few days: Thank you in advance π I love my Ford because I can always rely on him and I feel comfortable in him. With a Ford you set off from the crowd and show who really has style… π

Driving dangerous with rattling wheel bearing rear left?
Driving dangerously with rattling wheel bearing back right ? Servus ! Ride a 1998 Escort tournament 1.8 16V Giha, with currently 225 000km on the clock. Since yesterday, almost overnight, the rear axle is buzzing as if I had mounted tractor tires. If the wheel is turned in the air you can actually hear exactly this rattling noise. Typically bearing damage just. My question now : Can I drive with it over the weekend until I have my workshop appointment on Wednesday ? Are bike bearings actually always changed accordingly ? Will no bike lose π Greeting, Marc

Black tail lights Escort MK5.Are they really entry-free?
Hello I bought black tail lights for my Essi at Ebay. The seller assured me that the things are not registered. He has attached a TΓV-confirmation to me (a copy). This is issued to the company of Muschwitz GmbH (should be the manufacturer of the lights). In this certificate also stands that the lamp is permissible without which a re-examination according to Β§19Abs.3StVZO must be carried out if the following applies: an ECE or EC mark must be present. What do I now know if this certificate has been issued for these parts? Because it is quite possible that the certificate is not at all for these lights. Where do I recognize the certificate for my car? No vehicles are listed. I have no desire to get one if the race management ever whistled me out.

Escort hot running phase
Hallihallo! Car: 96 Escort 1.6 16V (Who cares, I got almost all the problems with my timing belt [it was the bottles of spark plugs from the fFH inside], except: ) So I re-learned it (forced mase); I brought it up to operating temperature before, battery dropped off (70 min), idle (2~3 minutes), 1200 rpm (2 minutes), city, country road, highway; all in all 40 km; So now to my problem: if I leave it standing for longer time and then start it commutes at ~1200 rpm; only then it goes by itself for a few seconds to 1500 rpm; then everything is back to normal. Only the funny thing is that it doesn’t do it every time. Can it be that I’ve learned it wrong? Or that the steering device has a kick away? (has anyone got tips for real learning?) M.f.G. Fits this Autoradaio in my MK7
Hello, for most certainly a stupid question, but I am completely undefiled stuff car radio. Does this thing fit herehttp://www.clarion.com/…/en-de-product-pf_1170603795514.html with reasonable effort in my MK7 tournament, year 97? Have at the moment still the factory radio in it (name follows), which occupies the double shaft. But slowly gives up the mind. I assume I need an adapter for the shaft. I can take over the wiring for power, antenna and speakers, or do I need adapters, etc.? Thank you!
