hello! I’m new here and hot Andy. I bought my winter car 3 days ago. an escort build year 12.95. the previous owner didn’t handle the car very carefully. (all over) now to my actual problem: when the engine runs on stand gas you can really hear such a metallic effect (as if a ball bearing somehow went dry) can exclude so much: the engine itself is not. the purred like a kitten. but as soon as I give a bit of gas (rotally to approx. 1700 u/min upwards) is it completely gone. is it maybe the servo pump????? the noise comes from the front left when I listen more closely. or did someone have the same problem??? achja there would be something else: the motor runs a bit restless. in about like light ignition dropouts. but new candles are inside. maybe one or other can give me some tips what it could be exactly ;o) Thanks already in advance! Hello people! I used the Sufo without getting a direct answer…. I have a 94 convertible, 130Ps, currently Euro 1. Is there no way to just recode it? In my Mondeo is the same engine with 115/116Ps, which I could just rewrite with so ́n Fordvish. Do the 13/14Ps make such a big difference? Kat etc. shouldn ́t be too different? Nit be annoyed, have no desire of any minicat manufacturers the money in the Ar… to bla I think it would be a good idea if we were to do something about it.

Hey guys, I’ve got a big problem! When I wanted to go to work this morning, my car didn’t jump on. Here’s the worst snow and son kram and jetz he doesn’t jump on anymore! If I want to turn it on, he just stops and makes noises at a second distance or he clacks quite funny. Is it completely on the spark plug? If yes, she’s sitting right on the engine block or ? Help me sons come to work tomorrow morning

Hello freaks and friends, I have recently had a Ford Escort combo. Built 1991, 1.4, 16 V, 52 KW The car jumped bad already at the previous owner in winter. I thought, ok, made new spark plugs, new air filters, oil change, new battery and is good. Air intake tube renewed, heat valve in the air intake nozzle made accessible. Unfortunately, all this did not work. If the car stands at night at below 0 C outside, it hardly starts the next morning. I am 20-30 sec. (looking at the clock!) on the starter until it starts. Then it runs for a short moment and goes out again immediately. When I start it again it starts immediately and runs. Warm starts work without problems. Also during the ride everything is fine. Gas acceptance and performance top! If the temperatures do not drop below + 5 C, then there are no problems, keys around and it runs. Does anyone have an idea of you? Hello together. For a few days my Escort Bj 1996, 1,3 l, 60 ps, worries me. he takes at times hardly any gas, he does not reach at all higher speeds than 2000, and in doing so he burns like crazy, and consumes unheimich much gasoline, then it smells very much like gasoline. however, he does approach without major difficulties, but as soon as he gets warm starts the above mentioned problems. in between he drives a short distance quite normal, then he takes again no gas and starts to hop , also in empty run. oil is fine, but he had a little too much before I looked, then made oil changes. the spark plugs are also ok. gasoline he has enough. I am rather perplexed and would be very happy about a few advices.

Hello, together… As described in the topic, I don’t know which Essi I have now…must somehow be a Zwitter… which makes the parts search for a former Opel trailer like me quite difficult…. To the vehicle: Ford Escort tournament 1.6 16V, EZ 09.93, 66KW/90PS, key numbers 0928 and 826, low pollutant E2 (but is calculated E1, why???), engine identification letter unknown (because not found *NERV*), under Pkt. 22 (remarks and exceptions) is written “Date of the Emisionskla sse: 13.09.1993” (date of the EZ)……. So….I have now decided, although the good man has come into the years and has obviously not enjoyed much care for a long time, to rearrange him again and to subdue him after his now almost 180,000 km of a cure.
